Post-con blues
Posted 10 years agoSo I really did have a good time at FC - it was so relaxing, I was totally able to forget about work, and home (though I did keep checking in on the cats on my webcams). I really enjoy the art show/auction, and like seeing the variety of fursuits. I donned my suit just once this time for the parade - the visibility out of my mask is HORRID. I got to see my great friend Czyrek again! I also got to meet Furshinku which was awesome, as well as Steve Gallacci, creator of the Albedo comic series among others. I picked up a couple pieces of his art in the auction.
So the suit goes back in the closet for another year, and I'm back to the regular grind.
It was nice to be around a bunch of people who were just being themselves, dancing around, and having a good time.

Whether you like it or not, here's another 10 question journal tag thing.

Rules: (honestly if you spend lots of time on an art site like here, you should already know what kinds of rules these tag journals have)

2. Each person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you, and create ten (10) new questions for the people you tag to answer.
4. You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
5. Go to their pages and tell them you have tagged her/him.

7. No nonsense in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you're reading this."

1. Have you ever had to sing in front of a crowd? Was it embarrassing?
No, I haven't, and it would have probably caused me physical pain to do so. I have sung, rather horribly, in front of friends though.
2. Should video games be considered art? Why or why not?
I think so! As a whole they are a creation based on images, fantasies, emotions, most of the same stuff that goes into "real art". The individual characters can be unique or beautiful, as well as the environments, or the game as a whole. You could even say that the gameplay itself is an art.
3. Are there any books you started but never finished?
No doubt. First one that comes to mind is some science fiction novel (been so long I don't remember the title or author), but it was so disjointed and an uncomfortable read (and not because of the subject) that it may be the only book I put down never intending to finish it. Odd too, since sci-fi and fantasy are my top favorite reads.
4. Which version or telling of the Aristocrats joke is your favorite?
The what? Oh I see, I had to google it. Odd I have never heard of it before. I would like to hear the Johnny Carson version - from the description of the joke, I would find it hard to believe he could pull it off on TV.
5. What is one body part you wouldn't mind amputating?
My left middle toe. Or a middle finger. An end toe would make it harder to walk I would think. And a whole limb, well the difficulties would be obvious.
6. If you became a zombie, whose brains would you devour first?
My own! Because then I wouldn't have to fret about my new life as a zombie. Otherwise, I'd say some nice, kind person because their brain is probably sweet.
7. If you were going to play the killer in a slasher movie, what appearance would you want your character to have?
A little baby. No one suspects the baby.
8. Related question! What kind of look would you want if you became a heavy metal musician?
Either something different from everyone else to try and avoid the cliche, or more likely for me, something that is total mockery.
9. How would you react if you learned your favorite celebrity ate puppies during a vacation in Korea?
I would probably be choosing a different favorite celebrity.
10. If God fired Satan and you became a replacement devil, how would you torment the damned?
Make them use dial-up internet.

1. Have you ever had a fever so bad you hallucinated? What did you "see"?
2. Rainy or sunny?
3. Do you ever plan on "growing up".. as in leaving ALL childhood/teen thing behind?
4. Favorite board game.
5. Favorite comfort food.
6. What bands do you consider "old fogey music"?
7. Mushrooms, yay or nay? If yay, what do you like about them, and how do you like them? If nay, what don't you like about them?
8. What do you want for a car/vehicle? Fast and flashy, or nice and practical.
9. Ever been to a desert?
10. Do you daydream a lot? (optional: What about?)
