This was a fun year, and hopefully the next one will be as equally fun!

So.. I don't normally do this, and I'm sure I'll get some eye-rolls from people for it. But earlier today I read a journal post by my friend  Narcotic-Sprinkles whom is doing chibi-artwork to pay for a ticket to go visit her sick grandpa.

Let me start by pointing out the last journal regarding this same subject was nine months ago!

No Opal isn't pregnant, though not for a lack of opportunities I'm sure...

Once more I wake up to turn on my PC only to have a error message informing me my harddrive is borked. After a lengthy process of scans and failed fixes (which I learned later was not possible anyway) I discovered my harddrive was once more D-E-A-D. What is worse though is even though I had lost my previous PC to similar... well exactly the same circumstances, I had put off backing up my files out of laziness, so I lost all my files... again!

I did get a replacement harddrive so everything is fine, I need to get all my updates and install all my programs again but at least the new PC was under warranty still!

So the point of all this is for me to say: Don't be like me, back up your harddrive today!

Check out  Narcotic-Sprinkles, they did a sketch of Opal and her deer gal Vivian getting close and snuggly at a rave and I really liked it! So go take a peek at the gallery, it's still fresh since they had just joined FA but I think we'll see a bunch of good work from them, and who knows! Maybe Opal will visit more often ;D

Occasionally people have asked if I like to roleplay my characters. I take this with some grain of salt really, I do like to roleplay them, but it usually takes more than showing interest to make me want to.

So I'll make various people a deal, if you actually want to RP with me, fine, but do try to come forward if you are a good RPer is all I ask!

Well it's time to put the pictures I have back up I think. Thanks for the well wishes every sent me from earlier, things have improved quite a bit between Dalehan and I, so it is only fair to everyone that enjoyed the pictures on my gallery to see them again. I'm not sure if I will be able to put them all back up, but I'll submit the ones I have.

So my daily routine isn't all that impressive, I wake up, turn my PC so it can run through it's start up, take a shower, and check emails/webpages and etc online. Imagine my surprise when I got done with my shower and went back to my computer to discover that it could not boot up at all. Everything I tried did not work, and in the end I just had to accept that the old girl had finally joined her sisters in the great PC heaven in the sky. I was pretty sad, since it turned out the hard drive also was not recoverable, so I lost everything, games, pictures, chatlogs, etc, everything!

But I'm not gonna let it get me down, the sad thing is a few pictures I had yet to be posted were lost too, sorry about that :<

As you can see from the lack of updates from me of late that things have been kind of slow. Personal stuff has really kept the creative juices from flowing so me and Dale haven't really teamed up for anything lately really. Kind of stinky since it is fun to team up with him (and on the rare occasion Lily too), but I am sure it's just a phase!

So if anyone was wondering why I've been so quiet of late, it's not because I dropped off the face of the Earth, more that I've just kind of laid down and went "Blaaaaah" for a extended period of time.

In personal stuff, I've kind of lost a lot of my various D&D games I play during the week except for one, so that has kind of been a downer too. Maybe I should look for different groups, or just move on, ... this has turned into a rant really hasn't it? Oh well. Clearly I just need to find something to occupy my time.

 Ishtar_Writing is a very talented author who takes commision works for stories, very well written stories at that. They deserve a bit more exposure then they get so all the loyal fans of the busty ferret should take a moment to check the page out and read a story or two, if the work is good to you give him a watch, I am not saying a story with Opal in it is due to be released at some point but I am saying that is always a possibility!

And if you want to star in a story with the lovely Opal, that is always a possibility too! Just check his commission fees out and decide!

Just imagine Opal saying all that wearing nothing and holding up a sign for  Ishtar_Writing if you prefer more sexy ad placement.

It amuses me ... scratch that, it pisses me off that people are really low enough to steal art from others and pass it off as their own, Opal seems to be my particular "kidnapped princess" of sorts since she is constantly being used by other people, in this case by some smuck on DA called Shokutaku stealing from Dalehan and me. Now I am hardly saying people who are fans of me and Dalehan should go report the image and all others he's posted as being stolen, but I am just going to leave a link to Opal here and just walk away whistling and ignoring anything that happens

Also, what is really the point of posting stolen artwork that has been lingering on FA for nearly 3 years exactly? I don't get people sometimes...
