What has been going on with me? Well, for the most part I've devoted myself full-time to admitting that I am hopelessly in love with fictional characters, to the point where I consider that my main sexual and romantic orientation, pfft.
Work stuff is the same, streaming is the same, cons and traveling is a bit less? Overall, just crusin' at this point.
And yes, I've gone FOUR YEARS without posting everything I got to post to this place. Honestly, it's more of an anxiety game at this point than anything else.
So...can someone just sit down with me and make me go through this mess already? That'd be mighty helpful. Thaaanks.

Turning 30 and Pending Stuff

Things have gotten out of hand, in regards to the upkeep of this gallery, pfft. I am currently sitting on THREE YEARS of unposted art, with over a hundred pieces to upload.
Hoping to get to it at some point, but as you can see, life gets in the way!
With a full time job, streaming, traveling, social relationships and a crippling addiction to phone games (despite not spending a single cent in them), time just kinda slips you by.
I have an outstanding number of submissions here I need to get to. I like to sit down and look at the art and read the stories that other people upload, and give them proper attention. This also takes a fair amount of time, and is yet another thing I have to do...and that I want to do, before I get to posting my own. So...it'll happen. Eventually. Here's my apology for commenting on and faving year old stuff.

Birthday Weasel and Some Updates
Posted 3 years agoWow, it's radio silence from me, huh? But yeah, sorry about all that. Lemme give you a few bullet points on all this.
Happy Birthday?
Yes, today (July 23rd) I'm officially 28. My goodness. I'm gonna spend the day with a couple of my BFs, and I'm bound to get a couple new pairs of boots, bringing up my collection to 124 pairs, I believe. I'll take those birthday wishes now, thank you~
What's with the radio silence?
Been busy. Very busy. Stupidly busy. I'm still very active on Twitter, where I post my boots daily, post about my streams, post my short stories, and post about my life and stuff. But don't worry, I plan to make a big comeback.
Big comeback?
Yes. Now, I'm sure some of you have noticed my barrages of favorites and comments. See, because of the way I use this site, I like sitting down and checking all the submissions of people I follow, and faving and commenting on the things I want to...well...favorite and comment on. And considering how active some fellows are here, it does take some time. Well, recently I managed to catch up and I'm keeping a close eye on the latest content here. I'm trying my best. But I'm guessing you've noticed I haven't uploaded anything here since February 2021. And this doesn't mean I have not gotten any new art and stuff in the meantime. On the contrary. I'm sitting on a BIG PILE of stuff to upload. And I plan on doing it starting next month, little by little. I want to give these submissions the attention and care they deserve.
Updates on projects?
Sure. Let's see...
Streaming is still a thing. I've greatly cut back on it, though. Been trying to balance it out with my very long work days. As always, got some older streams on my YouTube page, which I plan to update with game playlists sometime.
I'm still a writer, but I've also cut back on that, mostly due to a lack of ideas and inspiration. I mean, I still don't think I have an audience for my short 5-minute surreal horror reads on Twitter. If you want to check them out, go ahead. It'd mean a lot.
Regarding art, I'm still on a break with that. It's clear that I don't have much time to work on that without proper tutoring, and I'd very much like to compensate whoever wishes to help me out on that front. But that's a thing for later.
Oh yeah, I was working on a text adventure game, right? Well, that's still shelved until further notice. I got a better idea of where I want to go with that, but again...time.
What about furry conventions?
Oh, those have been going well. This summer I attended my 25th convention, Anthrocon 2022. I still have a complicated relationship with these events, but lately I've had some really pleasant and wild experiences, and I've reassessed a few of the criteria to go to a con. Meeting folks I've known for a while is almost paramount to guarantee my attendance at this point, hah. But yeah, I plan on going to many more cons for the foreseeable future. And now that a certain weasel has been realized, I'm even more excited to keep at it~
Time and time again?
Yeah, that is the theme and the key to this all. Time.
It's been a while since I last experienced boredom. For the last few years, I've had my days completely packed of things to do. Either stuff that I HAVE to do, or stuff that I WANT to do. Never a dull minute in the life of Rick Whitechest. And managing my time has been a very complicated affair. So much to do, so much to see. I swear the Internet has only accelerated during the last few days. More and more media and content gets pumped out every hour, and it's always more stuff to watch, more stuff to play, more stuff to read. Always more and more to do. And I can barely keep up. It's a bit stressful, honestly. But I'm trying to keep a balance of sorts. All I'm asking for is a bit of patience.
So yeah, that's about it. Things have been wild for me these last few months, and there's so many more things that you don't know about yet. I do plan to sprinkle some more tidbits of info here and there, as I catch up with my uploads. Hope you enjoy what I'll be sharing during the coming weeks. For now, that's it.

It's Been a Long Time (Heading to MFF!)

Been a while, huh? Last journal was from January.
Honestly, I didn't have much to say throughout the year.
The pandemic just kept on going and well, I've been kinda busy, here and there. But I'll try to summarize things here.
Where Have You Been?
Here. I haven't gone anywhere. Now, I know my last submission was uploaded all the way back on February. Once again, I've been really busy. I'm actually sitting on a MASSIVE pile of art that I haven't uploaded here. Basically, I want to organize it and give each piece a proper description before I do. Additionally, I'd like to clear my submissions first. That has proven to be a challenge, though. But I will attempt to do all that before the year ends. I'm faithful.
Now, I've been still active on Twitter, Twitch, Discord and Telegram. Speaking of which...
Still Streaming?
Yuuup. I still stream over at my Twitch channel. It's been going well. I'm about to take a break, though. So maybe tune in next year when I come back from my break! But feel free to check out any past streams over at YouTube!

Oh yeah. So, the border opened. It only took them...19 months or so to do it. So I'm gonna go spend the holidays with my boyfriends. Fun in the US. I actually first saw them back in July, when I decided to travel through the LONG route of three flights bouncing around Mexico and the US. It was annoying, but effective. I managed to get a proper vaccine then, which helped immensely when the border opened back in November. Now my life can resume.

Art Dump Done! (November 2020 Update)

Rick, What the Hell?
Okay, sorry again. You see, somewhere around August-September, I was in a bit of a personal crisis. This made me neglect some of my Internet spaces, FurAffinity included. My submissions ballooned to who knows where. Only recently I had time to sit down and go through each and every one of them. That might explain why I also fave-bombed a few of you. The good thing is I'm finally up to date, and I also uploaded all the art and stuff I had been sitting on for a while!
Hope I didn't forget anything.
How's Quarantine Doing?
Just about the same. My prediction back in May, which said I'd be back to traveling back in July was hilariously wrong. The border is still closed, I haven't seen my friends and partners in so long, but I'm still managing. My job is luckily a more-or-less remote situation, so I just show up at the office a couple times a week.
It's unlikely things will change until next year, so I'm just kind of living with it. Streaming and Discord calls keep me sane.

Yeah, it's kind of my thing now. I mean, it has become slightly profitable, so might as well just keep at it. As of writing this, I'm currently going through Metroid Prime 2 (as part of the Metroid Prime Trilogy collection) and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions.

I recently finished an October-long event, which culminated with the revelation of Razleris, my "real" sona.
What's Up With Razleris?
So, Razleris is a demon-incubus-thing.
Grumpy-Mexican-griff came up with it back in January, when he suggested I was probably not a weasel, but a terrible demon instead.
So we just ran along with it. It's (partially) canon now.
There is a timeline where Rick is not a real weasel, but a demon giving himself amnesia during the day, and pretending to be one.
Now then, don't panic. This only applies to one continuity so far. Rick is still definitely a weasel in many other contexts.
If you want to check if the Rick of your timeline is a weasel, just perform a simple exorcism, or tug at his face.
Additionally, Razleris is now my AD scapegoat on Twitter, considering I like keeping my main account SFW, to go with my streaming channel.

Anyways, hi there! It's been a while! We've all been into this quarantine thing for a while, and things are only now just kind of starting to ease up.
There really isn't much to talk about, but I will.
What Has The Weasel Been Up To
So, with all this quarantine time, I must have been working on something, right?
Ehhh...yes and no.
All this time inside has definitely been helpful for me, as I was dealing with having too many things on my plate and being generally overwhelmed by a lack of time to take care of pending affairs. As of now...I still lack time to work on stuff and still have many pending affairs, haha.
But! I did work on a few things during my confinement! One of them is writing!
Writing Affairs
Over at my Twitter account, I have been working on a "longer" story series, which I recently finished. In fact, the last few days, I have been uploading it here to my FA gallery, in a 4-part compilation entitled "Tales from the Con Floor, Vol. 2". I'm pretty happy with the outcome, so it'd mean a lot of people gave it a read! I made sure to format it for easy reading!
Additionally, a month ago, I also decided to start working on a Twine adventure game! It's called "Furry Con Simulator", and I'm currently hosting it over at itch.io. It's still a rough work in progress, but I hope to work on it more during the summer! Still counts as writing, considering it's pretty much an interactive story with RPG elements. Anyways, what else am I doing?

Well, turns out even more stuff than I predicted got cancelled or postponed. Definitely a bummer. In any case, in my case, it seems like traveling for me will have to wait until late June or early July. Which is really a shame. Well, turns out even more stuff than I predicted got cancelled or postponed. Definitely a bummer. In any case, in my case, it seems like traveling for me will have to wait until late June or early July. Which is really a shame. But I still hope to keep in touch with everyone important to me online! I've been trying to!

Full Weasel Rebranding
So yeah! With full commitment to the weasel, I'm officially changing my profile pic here (press F5 pls) to reflect that. As much as I loved the bouncing Mystery Skulls icon, it's still the wolf, and I can't have that reflecting me anymore, heh. Hopefully I can get another animated thing in the future!
Additionally, I've also commissioned a brand new ref sheet (and in fact, the FIRST ref sheet I've ever commissioned) of my sona, with some variants, in all his toony glory for easier commissions in the future! I've also retooled it into my new profile ID as well! Go check those out!
Current World Situation
On less cheerful news, I think everybody knows what's going on at the moment. Things are dire, and as everybody else, I do implore you: stay home, stock up on what you need, wash your hands, stay active at home, and try being productive. This whole thing has also impacted me negatively, in several ways. As of late, I've felt really unfocused and kinda worried about my IRL and online friends. Additionally, I am unable to cross the border, which leaves me without access to my mail and unable to travel to visit my significant others. I am currently keeping myself busy by playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons (just as everybody else) and by streaming on my Twitch channel as usual. You can come and hang out with me through both means, and I would really appreciate it. I want to be as supportive with others as I can.
In Regards to Conventions
The situation is murky, precisely because of the reasons above. Hopefully, my conventions from June onwards remain unaffected, but we can only see how this situation will evolve as time passes.

February 2020 Update!

First of all, as my first journal of 2020, I want to wish everybody a great year!
This Year
Myself, I do have plans regarding what I want to do with 2020, but I didn't exactly set up any resolutions. Instead, I'm opting for a theme. More in-depth explanation why can be found over at this video!
My theme for this year is gonna be achievement! For many years I've accumulated a staggering amount of tasks I want to take care of, but that I keep putting off. Well, with the help of bowser-the-second, I'm hoping to set things straight and get a bunch of these things done. It's essentially becoming an achievement checklist. And I'm gonna try to cross out as many as I can.

The first thing you may notice, is that many of those photos feature a new fursuit never seen before here! That'd be Pop the Otter, the suit that I essentially adopted back at MFF 2019! The Post-MFF Very Busy Weasel [Update Journal]
Posted 5 years agoHey, everyone. I want to apologize for the pretty much radio silence around here. This has been quite a year for me, and things have been pretty much all over the place. But I decided I owe everyone an explanation.
The Very Busy Weasel
So, I have to admit. I am not the bored, full-of-free-time guy that I used to be back in the day. As of now, I'm currently swamped with projects, relationships, content to peruse, trips, self-care, and just so many things to manage. I am trying my best to find a balance between busywork and relaxation time, so I don't end up going mad. I am currently on vacation from my job, which will hopefully help me get through some things I've put off, which leads me to the next point.
The Weasel's Very Own Job
For those of you that have known me for a while, you are aware of my job. I work at a university, in the language learning department, where I assist in the evaluation of language teachers. Recently, my job got a slight upgrade (essentially, finally becoming recognized by the university as a position) and because of that, my work hours got a bump up. I spend more time at work than ever before, but now at least I try not to bring work home. Back when I was in college, I was happy to do work-related stuff whenever I was required. Now, well, I can only do it at the office. I don't have the time at home. At least I'm getting reasonably paid. And I get to use some of my work time to work on personal things. And by the way...
The Weasel's FurAffinity Woes
I apologize if I haven't posted much around here as of late, but the truth is, I've barely had any time to check this site, considering everything outlined above. I'm trying my best to find time to go through all submissions and journals. I want to take this time to say that I have never used the Nuke button, ever. I take pride in sitting down and going through everything on my feed, item by item. Every journal, I try my best to read, and reply to, if I have something to say. Submissions too, going through the stuff I like, and faving anything I wish to save. I gotta say, story submissions are the toughest for me, because I do like to set time aside to read these, but it has been difficult as of late. Hopefully you guys can be patient with me, and do expect to see replies and comments coming in to things that you may have shared weeks ago. I'm trying to catch up. But I am working on a few things myself!
The Weasel's Ongoing Projects and Owed Works
For those of you in the loop with my life stuffs, specially you following me on Twitter, lately I've been on a writing mood, coming up with short stories on the dead of the night. A few months ago, I wrote a series of furry con-based stories, which I compiled and posted here, and I'm currently working in a weird "advent calendar story thing", also on Twitter, but in its own account, Fuzzy White Christmas.
Writing stuffs aside, I've been hard at work at my game streaming endeavors, where I'm currently going through the third Spyro trilogy game, starting Metroid Prime, trying to finish Breath of the Wild, among other things. I do recommend you check them out sometime!
Another thing I am hoping to try again is drawing. I had a pretty good run last year, with some draws I'm still very proud of, but there others I want to try. Specially because I owe some friends of mine doodles that I really need to get to.
Finally, my suit maker and friend
KonanWolfpard is currently helping me with bringing my weasely self to life, in the form of a brand new fursuit partial. That's gonna be my main project for December, and maybe January. And ah, speaking of fursuits...
Who's Pop the Otter?
Keen people keeping up with my Twitter shenanigans have no doubt noticed a new fursuit making the rounds on my posts, even making an appearance on my stream once. This mischievous fella is Pop the Otter. He's a partial suit, which I acquired at the MFF 2019 Charity Auction. Now, I am fully aware of the history behind this suit, which is...problematic, to say the least. That being said, I am fully committed to bringing the suit and character out of retirement and back to the fun of conventions and assorted events.

So yeah! MFF happened, and I was there! I gotta be honest, I didn't have many hopes for this one, but I'm happy to say, everything went way better than I expected. This was my first con not wearing wolf Rick. I really focused on being with friends the most during this one. I got to meet a ton of furs I wanted to see, like
Rubberbuns, 
Nearu-Senpai, 
marcothecat, among others. I got to make new friends, and I really did have fun! I'm starting to have faith in furry cons once more. It was all about changing my perspective and having a little bit of luck.
I also got a new suit at it, pfft.
TL;DR: Rick has been hella busy with work, projects, been writing and streaming a lot, got himself a new suit, and wants to go to more furry cons.

Rick Whitechest, from wolf to weasel.

That's what the saying says. And I think it's time for me to listen to it.
I have to be honest with you guys, this had been bothering me for a while. I've felt stressed, and anxious, and generally uncomfortable, but I've been keeping it under wraps for long enough, trying to remain my chipper self.
11 years ago, more or less, I first came in contact with the furry fandom, which I eagerly joined, hoping to find my place in the world. I had a rough time fitting in with others, and furries were simply just strange enough that I felt at home with them.
Well, soon after, I had to choose a fursona to represent myself in the fandom. And 14-year old me didn't think much of it. "Of course I want to be a cool animal! And what is cooler than wolves? A wolf I will be, then!"
And so, Rick Whitechest, the wolf, was born. As I explained in a retrospective of Rick's design through the years, it didn't take long for me to come up with his trademark outfit. Something simple enough that I'd be able to find and wear myself. A red T-shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans, and whatever boots fit my mood. It worked out perfectly.
Through the years, Rick represented me on the Internet. Always my profile pic on every site I joined, always my to-go character for roleplaying, or any art or stories that I got to participate in. Rick was essentially me. But then...stuff changed.
A year ago, back in September 2018, I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease in a somewhat late stage. My unhealthy eating habits had caught up with me and began causing me constant pain. I consulted a dietitian, who set me up on a custom-made diet so I could try to lessen the damage to the organ. This resulted in me losing weight rapidly, which caused me to become relatively thin. This was...difficult, to me. I don't think it's a secret that I've always enjoyed the look of bigger bodies. I was aiming for something like that as I became older, but something in me just told me to put my longevity first.
Well, I had to change most of my clothes up, as several things didn't fit anymore. This was a chance to maybe try something new, I thought. But what? Well, that's when Tragia came in.
I found "The Secret Lives of Flowers", a small unfinished furry webcomic by anti_dev, while browsing TVTropes. A strange little story about anthros living with humans in a post-apocalyptic society. The comic wasn't long, due to its permanent hiatus, but I enjoyed it very much. And I specially liked the weasel character in it. I looked up more stuff about him, and yeah, there was more.
There was something about his design that was so appealing to me. I instantly became a fan of him, to the point where I decided to cosplay as him. I made myself a horned cap, got some cargo pants, and even went out my way to replicate one of his shirts. Decked out in all that...I liked what I saw. And so I changed up my entire style.
With changes, came the uncertainty. I saw Rick in every past piece of art, and even upcoming commissions, and I realized that he...well...didn't feel right. By looking at his ponytail, I could tell he was a time capsule of my old self, frozen in time. I hadn't had a ponytail since 2014. Examining him more closely, I realized he looked...well...plain. The fact that I kept finding art where characters that were similar to Rick were depicted made me...uncomfortable. I've always striven to be unique. To be my own person. And here I was, having the most generic looking fursona in the world. Another wolf.
I felt...well...held back. Repressed. Like I had to keep acting like the character I came up with. To smile and say "Yes, this wolf is me! I'm the boot wolf!" while I cringed inside. And I feel bad for making everyone think everything was okay. But I've had enough. And I'm coming out clean with all this.
I am not a wolf. I am a weasel. A noodly, stretchy, short...weasel.
I AM A FRIGGIN' WEASEL!
This weasel's name is Rick Whitechest. Yes, Richard Rowel Whitechest. Same name. You see his colors? They are basically identical to the old ones. That's because this weasel is Rick. It's still me.
Now, does this mean I'm deleting everything that has the wolf form on it? Absolutely not. I still very much appreciate EVERY SINGLE PIECE of art with wolf Rick in it, and they will always have a place in my galleries, and in my hard drive. This will be a gradual shift, and you'll still see classic Rick in many parts of my profiles and such. He is not getting destroyed, he is just becoming a secondary form for Rick. I might actually still commission art of wolf Rick, because sometimes, he just works.
I will not deny it: anti_dev's character Tragia did inspire me to become a weasel. No, I am not trying to copy him, and I want to make this perfectly clear. I am trying to rehaul my furry identity to reflect my IRL changes.
And thus concludes the most dramatic fursona change in history.
That's what the saying says. And I think it's time for me to listen to it.
I have to be honest with you guys, this had been bothering me for a while. I've felt stressed, and anxious, and generally uncomfortable, but I've been keeping it under wraps for long enough, trying to remain my chipper self.
11 years ago, more or less, I first came in contact with the furry fandom, which I eagerly joined, hoping to find my place in the world. I had a rough time fitting in with others, and furries were simply just strange enough that I felt at home with them.
Well, soon after, I had to choose a fursona to represent myself in the fandom. And 14-year old me didn't think much of it. "Of course I want to be a cool animal! And what is cooler than wolves? A wolf I will be, then!"
And so, Rick Whitechest, the wolf, was born. As I explained in a retrospective of Rick's design through the years, it didn't take long for me to come up with his trademark outfit. Something simple enough that I'd be able to find and wear myself. A red T-shirt, a black jacket, blue jeans, and whatever boots fit my mood. It worked out perfectly.
Through the years, Rick represented me on the Internet. Always my profile pic on every site I joined, always my to-go character for roleplaying, or any art or stories that I got to participate in. Rick was essentially me. But then...stuff changed.
A year ago, back in September 2018, I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease in a somewhat late stage. My unhealthy eating habits had caught up with me and began causing me constant pain. I consulted a dietitian, who set me up on a custom-made diet so I could try to lessen the damage to the organ. This resulted in me losing weight rapidly, which caused me to become relatively thin. This was...difficult, to me. I don't think it's a secret that I've always enjoyed the look of bigger bodies. I was aiming for something like that as I became older, but something in me just told me to put my longevity first.
Well, I had to change most of my clothes up, as several things didn't fit anymore. This was a chance to maybe try something new, I thought. But what? Well, that's when Tragia came in.
I found "The Secret Lives of Flowers", a small unfinished furry webcomic by anti_dev, while browsing TVTropes. A strange little story about anthros living with humans in a post-apocalyptic society. The comic wasn't long, due to its permanent hiatus, but I enjoyed it very much. And I specially liked the weasel character in it. I looked up more stuff about him, and yeah, there was more.
There was something about his design that was so appealing to me. I instantly became a fan of him, to the point where I decided to cosplay as him. I made myself a horned cap, got some cargo pants, and even went out my way to replicate one of his shirts. Decked out in all that...I liked what I saw. And so I changed up my entire style.
With changes, came the uncertainty. I saw Rick in every past piece of art, and even upcoming commissions, and I realized that he...well...didn't feel right. By looking at his ponytail, I could tell he was a time capsule of my old self, frozen in time. I hadn't had a ponytail since 2014. Examining him more closely, I realized he looked...well...plain. The fact that I kept finding art where characters that were similar to Rick were depicted made me...uncomfortable. I've always striven to be unique. To be my own person. And here I was, having the most generic looking fursona in the world. Another wolf.
I felt...well...held back. Repressed. Like I had to keep acting like the character I came up with. To smile and say "Yes, this wolf is me! I'm the boot wolf!" while I cringed inside. And I feel bad for making everyone think everything was okay. But I've had enough. And I'm coming out clean with all this.
I am not a wolf. I am a weasel. A noodly, stretchy, short...weasel.
I AM A FRIGGIN' WEASEL!
This weasel's name is Rick Whitechest. Yes, Richard Rowel Whitechest. Same name. You see his colors? They are basically identical to the old ones. That's because this weasel is Rick. It's still me.
Now, does this mean I'm deleting everything that has the wolf form on it? Absolutely not. I still very much appreciate EVERY SINGLE PIECE of art with wolf Rick in it, and they will always have a place in my galleries, and in my hard drive. This will be a gradual shift, and you'll still see classic Rick in many parts of my profiles and such. He is not getting destroyed, he is just becoming a secondary form for Rick. I might actually still commission art of wolf Rick, because sometimes, he just works.
I will not deny it: anti_dev's character Tragia did inspire me to become a weasel. No, I am not trying to copy him, and I want to make this perfectly clear. I am trying to rehaul my furry identity to reflect my IRL changes.
And thus concludes the most dramatic fursona change in history.

Anyhoo, I was going to post this earlier, but I was swamped with stuff to do, unpacking and pending shenanigans! Let me get you up to speed on a few things!
Back from Anthrocon 2019
So, as you may have surmised, I was at Anthrocon this year! It was pretty alright, although I didn't get to have as much fun as I would have wanted. A few things went wrong on our way there...and on the way back home. Traveling has been complicated, but it was really all about the planning. I'm sure we've learned from this and future trips should go a lot more smoothly. I spent practically the entire con with my friendo zakbernhard, who wore my Fox McCloud fursuit! He gave me what is now my pair of boots number 75, and I exchanged a few more items with him! Oh yeah, zhane3 was there too, but I really dunno what he did most of the time, haha. I uploaded a few pics I took! I didn't take too many.
Oh, but I did stream the Fursuit Parade from a first-person perspective, so check it out!

...I know, I plug my game streams way too much, but I swear! This stuff is real important to me as of late! It's one of the few projects I've been able to commit, and be moderately successful at! The point of my streams is for me to play the games I've piled up in my backlog and hopefully make space for some new games! I stream from Mondays to Saturdays, at around 7 PM MDT! Except when I don't. Check out my Twitter to stay in the loop of how my streaming schedule is doing. Or join the Discord server to stay in touch with other fellows who watch my silliness. And boots. Birthday coming on July 23rd!
Oh boy, it's that time of the year again! I knew people my age who don't get excited about their birthdays anymore, for any number of reasons, but I still find ways to keep the magic going for myself! Specially when you got people who care about you and make sure your day is special! Now, why would I even mention my birthday here? It's not like I want to plug my wishlists or something. Pfft.

May/June Update and Promo!
Posted 6 years agoHey, everyone! How's it going? I've been kind of sick as of late, but I'm recovering! I just went over 500+ submissions. Ow. I'm still not done, also! I usually leave the stories aside so I can read them carefully before going to bed. But man, ya'll need to chill with the posting, haha!
For you guys, here's some stuff I want to talk about! (Maybe I should be calling these Rick Directs or something...)
Back from BLFC 2019
So, BLFC was a thing that happened a couple weeks ago. It was my first time checking that con out, and I was pretty damn surprised. The venue was the first thing that caught my attention. I mean, a hotel with a casino, a pool, shops, restaurants, a movie theater, an arcade, and space for a convention? I virtually didn't leave the building for 3 days! The con itself was pretty standard, though. I was upset that Opening Ceremonies was on a Thursday instead of Friday, as we missed it, but BLFC has to have had the BEST Gaming Lounge I've ever seen at a furry con. The selection of arcade machines and consoles was very impressive! I visited this place at least three times daily, just to play with the Rhythm Tengoku machine, ehehe! Had a good time meeting up with fellows such as
TaniciusFox and 
Westhoff, who always make me smile! I also bought some questionable goods. I'll hopefully post some photos from the con to my gallery later!
Yet Another Rick Fursuit Update
Alright, considering my next furry con after BLFC will be Anthrocon, with a theme like "Surf Pacific" that means Rick will inevitably have to be less clothed that usual. Considering he now has a chest piece, the only major feature he's missing is legs. We're working on that. You will not see his footpaws, though. I got an idea for what to do instead.
My Gaming Stream Keeps On Growing!
So, remember my little stream that could? I've been working hard at keeping it going, and it has paid off! Thanks to some fortunate encounter at BLFC and the support of friendos all around, I've been able to boost my audience a little bit! Every ounce of help counts, so do consider dropping by my channel and joining the Discord server if you're interested! We're making a little fun community happen!

Rick Plays Stuff! (Update & Server)
Posted 6 years agoHey there, everyone! So...as you may or may not know, I've gotten into game streaming the last few months! It has been a pretty fun way of going through my game backlog, and sharing my views on games with others! It has also been pretty damn entertaining to get to speak while I play those games! Because I'm still a small-time streamer, I get to read my chat, so I'm highly interactive and you're pretty much guaranteed to get a live spoken response from me!
I'm currently dedicating a big amount of my time to this, streaming pretty much every single day, except for Sundays and whenever I travel!
Because I recently reached an important milestone, which is that of 50 followers, I had promised that I would launch a Discord server as soon as I did! And now that's a reality! So here it is!
Hopefully I can make this take off and I can keep on sharing my gaming experiences with others!
I'm currently dedicating a big amount of my time to this, streaming pretty much every single day, except for Sundays and whenever I travel!

Back from TFF 2019
Okay, so...that was pretty fun! This time around I had a con experience like no other! I fursuited some, both as Rick and Fox, hung out with some friends, made some new ones, played some board games, went to concerts, bought some soap...it was all pretty good! I recently submitted some photos to my gallery and posted several others to my Twitter a few days ago! My next con stop will be BLFC in a month or so! First time I go to that one, also! Hopefully it's a good one!
Rick Fursuit Updates
If you checked out the pics above, you may have noticed something...Rick now has an actual white chest! That's right! He has graduated from partial suit to half suit, while retaining his modularity! If you didn't know, Rick is an experimental modular suit, made of different exchangeable parts! He's the love child of konanwolfpard and I, and still pretty much a prototype, but I'm happy with how he has been progressing!
Gaming Streams and Such
Additionally, back in February, I decided to finally buy myself a capture card, and I've been using it to stream videogames over at my Twitch channel! Currently trying to reach 50 followers so I can get the affiliate status (and the video uploading feature back)! If you can, please lend me a paw and subscribe! Twitter Shenanigans
Back in November, I decided to pick up Twitter, considering Tumblr was pretty much heading downward into the dumps. Back in the day, Facebook used to be my outlet for my inane rambling and daily silliness (and con whereabouts when I'm at one), but now you can find such stuff at my Twitter! I also post the boots I wear every single day because apparently people like that and I like posting it.
Drawing and Writing
You may have noticed that back in January I had a resurgence of sorts regarding drawing, as I pumped out sketch after sketch! Well...that was kind of a one-time thing. I think I lost the ability to draw once more, eheh. I might regain it, but who knows when that will be. Regarding my writing, I've recently gotten slightly better at it, writing short things for the commissions I've gotten, things I've drawn and some short stories here and there. I'm looking for some feedback on the writing department!
Health Status Disclosure
Don't worry, this part has a happy ending!
I might not have mentioned this before, because I was feeling somewhat awkward about making things sad and stuff, but I've recently come out clean with it on Twitter. Back in September of last year, I got diagnosed with fatty liver disease in stage 2. It was pretty concerning, as I had heard that such a condition was practically permanent and could not be properly treated. Still, I did my best to change my eating habits and hopefully help out my ol' organ in maybe getting better. Turns out that 6 months later, my check-up revealed that my liver was now completely healthy. Nothing like a little scare like that to make you realize you've been screwing yourself over. Anyways, now I don't have such a strict diet, but I'm still keeping an eye on myself.
Fursona Considerations
Recently I've been thinking about Rick's character design...and pretty much overall species. I'm not ready to make an announcement of what's to come yet, but I feel like some stuff will be changing a little bit soon. Stay tuned for that!
I think that's pretty much it for now! The last few months have been pretty crazy for me, but hey! That's life! Hope to hear from some of you soon, and I'll continue to be around if you ever need me for anything (specially if it's a boot-related matter)!

Back from TFF 2019
Okay, so...that was pretty fun! This time around I had a con experience like no other! I fursuited some, both as Rick and Fox, hung out with some friends, made some new ones, played some board games, went to concerts, bought some soap...it was all pretty good! I recently submitted some photos to my gallery and posted several others to my Twitter a few days ago! My next con stop will be BLFC in a month or so! First time I go to that one, also! Hopefully it's a good one!
Rick Fursuit Updates
If you checked out the pics above, you may have noticed something...Rick now has an actual white chest! That's right! He has graduated from partial suit to half suit, while retaining his modularity! If you didn't know, Rick is an experimental modular suit, made of different exchangeable parts! He's the love child of
konanwolfpard and I, and still pretty much a prototype, but I'm happy with how he has been progressing!Gaming Streams and Such
Additionally, back in February, I decided to finally buy myself a capture card, and I've been using it to stream videogames over at my Twitch channel! Currently trying to reach 50 followers so I can get the affiliate status (and the video uploading feature back)! If you can, please lend me a paw and subscribe! You can also tune in if you want, as I stream pretty much every day, but Sundays! If Nintendo games and silly commentary are your thing, that's what I do!
Twitter Shenanigans
Back in November, I decided to pick up Twitter, considering Tumblr was pretty much heading downward into the dumps. Back in the day, Facebook used to be my outlet for my inane rambling and daily silliness (and con whereabouts when I'm at one), but now you can find such stuff at my Twitter! I also post the boots I wear every single day because apparently people like that and I like posting it.
Drawing and Writing
You may have noticed that back in January I had a resurgence of sorts regarding drawing, as I pumped out sketch after sketch! Well...that was kind of a one-time thing. I think I lost the ability to draw once more, eheh. I might regain it, but who knows when that will be. Regarding my writing, I've recently gotten slightly better at it, writing short things for the commissions I've gotten, things I've drawn and some short stories here and there. I'm looking for some feedback on the writing department!
Health Status Disclosure
Don't worry, this part has a happy ending!
I might not have mentioned this before, because I was feeling somewhat awkward about making things sad and stuff, but I've recently come out clean with it on Twitter. Back in September of last year, I got diagnosed with fatty liver disease in stage 2. It was pretty concerning, as I had heard that such a condition was practically permanent and could not be properly treated. Still, I did my best to change my eating habits and hopefully help out my ol' organ in maybe getting better.
