auburn as it reaches---
ground to air,
with flaming fingers
stretching to the sky.
It smiles softly
as it bleeds
so gently o'er the fresh horizon,
giving off the faintest scent
of life
and new beginnings.
I stretch back against a pine
rocky, stiff, yet not unpleasant,
feeling frostborne bark
against my wings.
The sky seems
just one word away,
as slowly, autumn leaves
burst into life
with sparks of dawning sighs
and quiet, solemn prayers.
I am at peace.
I am at home.
I am where I most long to be.
I am alive,
and therefore:
I am free.

It's hard for me: to put myself out there. But in a way it helps...it helps a lot. So I will.
This past summer at RMFC I met someone who I was quite happy to befriend. He was fun, he was happy, he was lovable---he was him.
In the nature of great irony I fell for him...now this might not seem anything special at first, but I might add he was the first person I had ever liked---my first crush, my first...
He however was quite happy, his mate and him...
It is now, as worlds crumble beneath him, that I find more things of myself than I could ever guess. If ever I have loved someone---it was he...
He loves her...he loves her in a way I could never meet, never match...never be...
but I care...I want to help...god forbid...I may even love.
and all I can think of is how he is hurting, and how I can't help, and still I'll wait with this knowledge that I will never be there...
Is this life? Yes. Life is always hard.
Is this madness? so what if it is: I'll stay.
Is this love?...if so...god help us all...

Diagnoss: fatigue.
My blood sugar is normal...thats a good sign...
My pulse is low: either healthy or slowly comming to a halt.
Fingers cold: bad circulation
Physical injuries: none
When I Came to it was around the second impact. the speeds were minimal, damage: surprising.
But dispite the shock of opening your eyes to roller-coaster-air-break-stop I couldn't feel...-anything-...
It seems that something is missing...maybe something has even died...but I do know I can't change it...I promised...but it hurts.
I just wish I knew if I should wait in this twisted insomnia, or try and sleep, and let time cover the unhealed wounds that an accident uncovered...
