Well, last night's stream was a bit of a mess. The camera kept freezing, and I could only get it to update by deactivating and reactivating the camera throughout the night. This may have been the result of me dropping minutes before. But this isn't the first time this webcam has had issues, and since I restarted my computer last night, it shouldn't be a problem at all. In any case, I have a backup webcam that I can switch out if it still doesn't work.

I'll be coloring the donkey picture tonight, and uploading the last two pictures tonight. Two? Yes, I decided to add another page to add a bit of closure to the whole sequence.

Since I moved locations, it won't quite be the same layout as before for physical drawing. But it's the same webcam and same settings, so it should still work.

Tonight's a sketching stream for a dual commission. Thanks to the thumbnails I've been drawing for one of my commissioners, these sketches are going be somewhat neater than my usual sketchy style. Does it ever confuse anyone else when some other artists turn out well-drawn pieces with defined shades and edges, and call it a "sketch"? (Maybe it's a language thing?)

The problem with my donkey pictures is that they're a two-day project, and I keep trying to cram them into one day. The fifth drawing, I got so worked up over it that I had to split it into two days to work on. The fourth drawing, it took me all 3 days of Thanksgiving break to draw. The third drawing, I had to rush through it (and keep the ugly dark shading) because I was falling behind on time.

Physical drawing, where everything has to be done slowly to avoid mistakes, is a lot tougher for me than digital drawing, where mistakes are easy to remove. I've just come home from finals, and I'm tired.

I've got a commission to work on tomorrow, so I think I will rest for tonight.

I don't know why I make puns that make very little sense when scanned literally, but I do.

My boyfriend   JackTheLizard was inspired by an image in his head to write a cow TF story. I feel inspired enough to draw an image to go with it -- in the same vein as Dance Like A Flamingo and Think Like a Quoll. I have a more specific image in my head this time, and I'm going to go for a more ink-and-paint look than pure paint.

Yikes, it's been 2 weeks already since #71. Such update schedule, much wow.

I'm feeling a bit shaky on the fursonas picture I have going, so I'm going to switch over to the other thing that's constantly on my mind, which is the next comic page. I almost certainly won't be able to finish Phase 1 before I leave for Jack's in 14 days, but I can at least get #72 and #73 finished.

I commented to my boyfriend a few days ago how glad I was to have finished my last bit of homework for the semester. In another journal, I expressed confidence that I would no longer have to put streams on hold for the next week.

My comment was a bit short-sighted. There's a bunch of evaluations and a "take-home exam" that have deadlines tomorrow and Thursday, so I really need to work on those tonight.

So despite my wishes, there's no stream tonight.

I really need to get back to making my comic. But first I will finish coloring the donkey picture today.

I'm trying to get to point where I can say I'll be on at a certain time, while privately telling myself it starts at another time so that I'll still be early when I'm inevitably late. :P

I had hoped to have another jackass picture done tonight, but in between studying for a final tomorrow and helping my boyfriend through a stressful weekend, as well as a pretty tricky composition, I didn't get to finish the jackass drawing tonight. So, that is what I'll be doing tonight, with my traditional drawing camera setup. I'll start at 6:15 PM ET, and go until it's ready to color for tomorrow.

Since the con is only an hour away, why not? I liked the opportunity to meet people at the TF panel last year, so that's where I'm headed now.

This will be the last day in which homework is such a burden that it keeps me from streaming. Not that it makes it any easier. I'll be back tomorrow with another stream.

The goal is to finish the next comic page by Thanksgiving vacation. Then I can rest at home and draw donkey TF pictures.

Part of me is glad that I made Trent and Markos somewhat unlikeable earlier in the comic, so that I don't feel so bad about tossing them down a staircase into a heap. Horses are still difficult to draw, though not as difficult as drawing cars. Thank goodness for now all the cars will just be blurry shapes, but the next few pages... well, it'll be a learning experience.
