Since I haven't gotten much attention from my commissions, and I'm looking for more ways to justify my spending each evening on drawing (you wouldn't want me to quit, would you?), I've decided to lower my prices a tad, so that fully shaded artwork is now $60 per figure. Pretty standard stuff.

But now I have an additional perk. If you commission a sequence with multiple characters, then each reused character gets 25% off. A fully shaded sequence would be $60 for the start, then $40 for each additional stage. So a 4-character TF sequence would be $180.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! If you use my commission form for the first time, you'll get half off the entire sale. So if you're a first-timer, that 4-character TF sequence is now $90!

There's another story that Jack wrote that I'm making an illustration for. It's bigger and more elaborate than the previous drawings, largely because it has so many characters. I got halfway through the inking yesterday, and I'll continue inking and possibly doing some coloring tonight, and you're free to come in and listen to my obscure rock/folk music selections as I do it.

I wish I had more time to think, to draw, to decorate my stream, to offer more promotions or sales or YCHs. I feel like I'm alone most of the time to my thoughts and efforts as I scream into the internet void. I hope the rest of you are staying connected to each other. I wish I had more to offer everyone, but I barely have time for myself.

Making art is one of the few ways I can feel less alone, even when no one is watching.

Well, I finally finished the Costume Party sequence. The ending may have been a downer, but it's the ending I came up with long before the current mess we're living in, so it's the ending we get. It isn't totally unhappy, anyways; two of them get to be happy animals in another world, and two of them go back to relatively normal lives (in another world).

Not a lot of inking, I didn't get much sleep last night and my stomach is a bit shaky (from fursuiting earlier today). I could use some rest to be honest. But I'll give it a couple hours, enough to ink some of the smaller panels of the costume image. But I can confidently say the costume party sequence will be done by Costume Day (otherwise known as Halloween).

I'll be continuing the work I did on Wednesday night, inking the other commission. I believe I can get the whole thing inked for sure by tonight -- tomorrow I'll be getting back to the beaver commission.

One of the troubles with having lots of websites to update is remembering to update the pipeline as well. Drawing has very slowly become a part-time job for me, something that has to be done regularly and reliably, even if it rarely involves getting paid. Since I'm my own boss, and therefore more understanding of my life than most bosses, I get to be very flexible with my hours. Unfortunately for everyone else, that makes me hard to predict, hence my need to constantly post journals about my working hours.

I do better talking one-on-one with people, I find. My current commissioner knows what I'm working on tonight. It'll be a beaver picture that I sketched out last night, and I plan to have it finished tonight -- inking, coloring, and shading. If he approves, it'll be posted tonight.

I decided to set up a Trello board so everyone could see what I am working on at any given day. Now that I've got it, of course, I need to make sure I update it every day. Routines take a while to become established, and it's especially easy to forget them when pressed for time.

Here is a link to my Trello. I've also added links on my user profil, my journal footer, and my submission header. And since I wrote up a journal announcing it, there's no way you could miss it, unless you miss this journal entirely. Which does happen, I admit.

One reason I set this up is that I've gotten a couple commissions now, and on top of a few other projects I've got going, so it's easier to keep track of everything for my sake. Both of my commissions will be streamed tonight! One should only take about 15-30 minutes to sketch out, the other is a full page and will probably take about 2 hours.
