So I have been streaming a lot of my gaming on Twitch while on stay at home orders in my state. Both of my part-time jobs are shut down because of the virus and if you could give me a follow on Twitch I promise to follow you back and try to even host your streams when I'm not streaming.

For the first time in 4 years I'll be attending a con other than Megaplex in 2016, Further Confusion. I have gone to FC before, but it has been a long time as since I returned to school I've lived by a strict "no cons" during the school semester rule. I've decided to break this as I head into my final year of college and attend FC because, a, I ended up getting a room in the main hotel, and b, it takes place during the weekend of only the second week of the semester so I'm not too worried about being overwhelmed by assignments and class projects or tests so early on.

Now I'm just wondering who might be going and who might want to spend some time with a cabbit and/or my fox who will be attending his first non-local con in over 10 years and who is the real reason I'm going. He's gone through a lot of rough times over the past couple of years and I'm hoping to show him a great weekend at FC.

Hello, just kinda getting a feel for who might want to hang out and stuff at Megaplex. Me and my boyfriend both are stressing a bit about ending up wandering aimlessly alone at Megaplex like has happened at cons in the past and would like to know if anyone actually really would like to hang out to look for at Megaplex? My bf does suffer from a bit of social anxiety so the con itself is a trying thing but if he knows there are friends and furs who would like to spend time with him or us it will definitely help alleviate some of that anxiety. Heyas, looking to see about setting up a support group for local greater Orlando furs dealing with depression and other mental illness. I know a lot of us in the area struggle with these things, either personally, or with a loved one who suffers. Leaning towards those inviting those who wish to join us in attending a local support group meeting, unless there is enough interest to have our group as a whole. My bf suffers from severe clinically diagnosed depression and it is very hard to find others aside from myself who can give him the emotional support he needs, and I bet there are others suffering in the area who need support as well. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on this. Thank you.

The topic of whether adult items should be sold or permitted around furcons has come up again. My first question is why are you for or against such things? My second question is that reason justification enough to rile yourself up into an anger over the issue? Anger over differences of opinion is not really a good thing and to me it just seems like a waste of energy. I live be the adage, to each their own as long as they aren’t hurting anyone. Is the presence of these items harming you, or anyone you know by their presence at furcons? If not, why are you upset over their presence?

The reasons most people give to ban such things is that either it gives the fandom a bad name or it makes you uncomfortable. Why do you care so much about the fandoms name? To me if someone is going to judge me based off a preconceived stereotype about a fandom I belong to, they aren’t worth the time of day to me. If they won’t treat me as an individual and base their impressions of me by my own actions, why should they matter? As for the second one, some more self-reflection is needed. Why do these items make you uncomfortable? Just because it isn’t your thing or because of societies demonizing of sex in this day and age? If it’s the first, so it’s not your thing, but it is the thing of others, do you need to restrict them from such just because you aren’t into it? If it is the second, again analyze how and why you came to believe sex is a bad thing. Who taught you sex is a thing to hide from the world? I believe in a more sex positive society people would get along better, because there would be less reasons to persecute others. People being more open about being themselves leads to less resentment, less depression, less future conflicts about something they had hidden from others.

Now why do cons have these things present in the first place? There is a demand for them from the fandom. The more variety a fur con offers, the more attendees will be interested in such a convention. The more attendees at a convention leads to more businesses attending a convention, which in turn leads to the convention being able to either charge more for dealers room tables or increase the size of a dealers room and have more dealers to balance the cost of running a convention in the first place. I’m not sure a convention whose rules went completely PG would receive enough interest from the fandom to sustain itself, without scaling back its offerings by quite a lot.

To me the basic purpose of a furry convention is to allow members of the fandom to spend a weekend with likeminded people and be able to relax and just be themselves without much pretense. People have all kinds of reasons to attend conventions from showing off their fursuits, making a living by selling their artwork or other wares, socializing with long distance friends they barely get to see, competing in dance competitions, dj-ing at dances, attending dances, partying, and many more, but I think the majority of convention attendees want to be able to just be their furry selves without fear of being bullied or threatened for doing so. Are some folks wearing harnesses or Doberman masks really personally affecting your enjoyment of a convention? Does the fact that people are selling and buying dildos at a convention affecting your enjoyment of the convention? I’m not saying I’m right of course, these are my opinions of the matter and I’m open to all discussion on the topic.

[EDIT-ADDED] Now one touchy subject to do with this is the presence of minors at conventions. I am all for segregating the adult materials in the dealers room from the all ages materials through use of security monitoring adult and minor badges at the entrance to such a section.

[EDIT-#2] I know personally the flack I have recieved in the past either for wearing cuffs on my fursuit, or for wearing underwear on my fursuit when out and about a convention. It does hurt quite a bit to recieve that kind of flack, when I was just trying to appear sexxy. I have never been confronted by a convention about it, but have recieved lots of behind the back talk afterwords, especially after Megaplex. I'm still not sure exactly how to deal with it.

Now with the friends list expanded to 2,000 I can accept more friends. I have a Vita, PS3 and PS4 and still use them all regularly so add me! PSN: Ripner. =^_^=

Heya, just seeing if any artists out there might be interested in taking a commission for a logo for my fantasy sports team, the Milwaukee Cabbits. Just looking for something simple, yet getting the team across. I don't want it to be specific to any sport as I'd like to use it for both my fantasy hockey and fantasy baseball teams. Although the possibility of 2 similar logos one hockey specific and one baseball specific has popped into my head as an option now.

Heyas, thanks for reading this. I'm trying to find an artist to commission a head shot reference picture of Ripner for use in making my version 2 fursuit head. What I'm looking for is a seductive look, a look at that sexxy face I need to fuck it style :P . Muzzle does need to be somewhat open but I don't want the tongue sticking out, and I need it done head on, from both sides and from behind.
