I also continued the treatment and for now I was prescribed mild sedatives to calm down the body’s reaction. If this helps, I can do without antidepressants, but if my sleep is not restored, then a new thing will appear in my life.

I moved to another place in the hope that it would be safe, but if I knew that I would wake up today from explosions, I would have stayed where I lived.
We ran for cover in panic while the windows were opened from the shock wave and the house was shaking.
Literally two kilometers from our house, a rocket landed on a bus with ordinary people who were just going to work and did not expect this.

Posted a year agoYou know, I never thought that in my lifetime there would be a full-scale war. 2 years since Russia began its full-fledged invasion. And it has already been going on on our territory for 10 years. Remembering all the fear I experienced, I only think about one thing: when will this end? So many people died and many of those whom I knew personally and communicated with are no longer with us. I am very grateful to everyone who helps us and supports us.
These two years were very difficult for me. On February 24th at 6 o’clock in the morning my grandmother called me and said the war had started. I thought then that this was a joke and thought about continuing my dream, but I couldn’t, I picked up the phone and realized this wasn’t a joke, I urgently needed to get ready and go to my parents, what if I needed help?
While I was driving home I saw all the horror that was happening on the street. Huge traffic jams at gas stations, huge queues at stores and ATMs. People did not understand what to do and simply tried to take their children away from danger. Already at home, I calmed down a little because my loved ones were nearby and the news said that everything would be fine, they would not reach us. I believed, but still tried to draw, study and donate some money to help everyone who suffered.
Аt some point the fear began to grow. They were coming closer and closer and could already fire at the places where I live. I lost contact with a friend who was in Mariupol. Then I became very scared and for the first time I asked you to help me move. I tried to persuade my relatives to come with me, but they said that they could not all leave their home and work here. I had to go myself. I managed to go out into the city and the panic subsided for a while, but not for long. After all, at night you could wake up from explosions that were very close and you had to run for cover.
Living in fear and anxiety, many diseases began to appear. So in July 2022 we found out that my mom had cancer. We began emergency treatment that was only possible and spent all the money we had. In the morning we went to hospitals taking all the tests and being examined, and at night we sat in shelters or corridors hoping that everything would end soon. As a result, it took some time for my mother to go through 6 chemo treatments and she was told that she would need to remove the breast in which the cancer was located. We were then told that it would be around 32,000 UAH (~$1300) and then I opened another fundraiser for my mother’s treatment and surgery.
As a result, when there was less than a month left before the operation, we were again shocked by the fact that we needed not 32 thousand, but 100,000 UAH (~ $3,400) and in a panic, I had already opened a second request for help. Also, the people with whom my mother worked also helped her and all her relatives also joined in this. And in the end, on February 15, 2023, we were able to help her, but the expenses were too high and they still continue to this day, every 4 months we have to give an expensive injection, but in any case this is not as expensive as an operation.
In all this stress, my vision gradually began to decline, I saw worse and worse. I had a constant headache and had to take painkillers because nothing else helped. At some point, I went to the ophthalmologist and was dumbfounded by new bad news. In my right eye there was a retinal tear in the left eye, two places of deformation. I needed to undergo laser surgery specifically to cover all these places, otherwise retinal detachment would occur.After going through all the examinations and treatment, I was able to raise money for the operation and I had it done, and the doctor said that before it was too late and before I had done everything, I needed to do laser correction. After all, there is a possibility that everything we have done will be in vain. As a result, I again had to save and borrow from friends, but on April 19 I was able to have surgery and my vision returned to 100%
This is only part of everything that happened in my life, and now I am being treated because my health has decided to fail me again, but I still want to say thank you to you all for not leaving me in difficult times and I am glad that I and my loved ones are alive. But the war changed and broke many lives and, first of all, the health of many was broken, and some were left without it at all.

Після повного обстеження виявилося, що через напругу і нерви, як я вже казав. Сітківка моїх очей почала деформуватися. На правому оці виявлено розрив сітківки, на лівому оці два місця деформації, які також можуть у будь-який момент перетворитися на розриви
Всі заощадження, які були, я витратив на ліки і навіть на лазерну коагуляцію , яка не дозволяла сітківці відірватися.
