Tonight Spooks and CSI: Miami are on at the same time on different channels (BBC One and Channel 4 respectively).

Spooks is continuing on from the explosive death of Adam Carter while moving an Al Q'aeeeeeeedallah bomb away from a Remembrance Day service in London, a terrorist act supported and covered up by the corrupt Russian FSB (aka, the former KGB) - a continuation of the episode I watched yesterday.

Meanwhile CSI: Miami are following on the storyline of the smexy Horatio Caine's illegitimate son, in which a wealthy businessman due to be wed to his one-night-stand-of-16-odd-years-ago is found dead - is his old lover to blame? There's all that, and of course the usual stuff about finding the improbable killer who impaled someone against a fish tank using a flask of burning nitric acid or something.

So which one to watch guyse! D:

My laptop touchpad has gone all poopski and stopped working, as have the scroll buttons and clicky buttons. It's at times like this that knowing how to do just about everything with a keyboard comes in really darn handy.

A reboot'll probably sort it, the ol' batbook has been on for quite a few days now. Not healthy, I know, but it's faster than having to open and close all my programs all the time (especially in the middle of coding projects and whatnot)

Whelp, my parentage are going on their (seemingly) twice-annual "holiday without a whiney teenager" and so from Friday I am once again in charge of the household. Then I got three days of college and I'm on holiday too, so whoop for time alone!

Party yesterday was an almighty lot of fun, oh yes. I won't go into detail, cause that's not the point of this journal.

I woke up horribly, sick as a dog. It hurt to talk, walk and generally move. I woke up at 9am, and didn't even get out of bed 'til 2:30pm. The fun thing is that I didn't even drink any alcohol - so how did I end up in such horrible condition?

I have a theory ... eating too much. Damnit my mum's cooking is too good sometimes, and when combined with copious amounts of fizzy drinks (which, aside from parties and furmeets, I never EVER drink) and a general party atmosphere with my local buddies left me incapacitated for a good chunk of the day.

I ain't eaten anything today, cause everything I drink or eat just gets thrown up again. Bleh, horrible...
