After the literal hell of last month, I wanted to share a major update: I've basically solved the issue I've been having in the past two weeks. While my old bank account did end up being closed (due to me being too late to save it), I was at least able to open a new one. As such, I am likely to be reopening commissions soon, so do be on the lookout for that.

Not really sure what else to say (besides me having been playing LEGO Dimensions a lot as of late), but yeah.

I have until October 1st to unlock my bank account (after having gotten locked out of it from getting scammed) by paying it off (balance is now -$20.41 as a result), otherwise they'll have to close it. This is something I *really* can't afford to lose.

To make a long story short, I fell for a scam, and now my bank account got locked. This means I won't be able to accept payments for any commissions I take on.

Why has this month been so rough on me.

Last time I mentioned that I applied to work at the library. Today I ended up getting the email that I got rejected, but they'll keep the application in file for the next six months in case a slot opens up there.

So. Moving to the new place has been completed. Highly exhausted from it, but I'm starting to feel better. As such, I'm re-opening my commissions.

Also, as for a rather major update, I've recently applied for work at the library. Hoping I get the position because yea. No idea how it'll affect things yet in case this happens

Apparently something had expired and these past few days I've been rather stressed out on that since nothing's set in stone just yet and everything's all over the place. Yeah. To be blunt, my computer's power supply unit had began making a strange noise a few days ago, so we had to get a new one. I had to help cover the cost for it, and alongside a monthly service fee for the bank that went through, I'm down to quite literally $2.10 as a result.

On the upside, I can at least get these done again. So send me a note if you're interested.

So. A lot has happened between the last update and me writing this.

- The big part is that I have moved back into my old place. The previous living situation was always meant to be temporary until my sister and nephew were able to get their own place, and that took longer than intended. But that's all taken care of.

- One of my Christmas presents (even if it was an early one), was an entirely new custom-built desktop computer courtesy of my brother. I have transferred everything over from the laptop to the desktop, and everything is all situated. Otherwise, art/game modding/rendering has been going as it usually does.

- In terms of my 2D art, I've begun experimenting with a soft shading style alongside an ambient occlusion effect. Am liking how it looks so I decided to include that as a commission option.

Also, speaking of the laptop, I am trying to sell it since my desktop has replaced it entirely, and I never really took my laptop anywhere to begin with. It was originally $2000 when I got it, so I'll be selling it for about $1250, per advice of a friend of mine. Specifically, it's an ASUS ROG G513QR from 2021. For it's specifications:

- AMD Ryzen R9-5900HX CPU
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU
- 16GB DDR4 RAM
- 1TB SSD

There are some cosmetic flaws on it, specifically that two of the keys had popped off when I was moving. Besides that, it's still fully functional. If anyone's absolutely interested in it, do let me know!

All this said, that's basically what's been happening as of late.

- First and foremost, my phone issue has been resolved. Roommate had a fairly recent one that he's given me.

- As with the past three years, I will be taking part in an art exchange event. This should not impact commissions much depending on how efficient I am when I do my art pieces for it.

That's all I can really think of right now considering its like 5AM right now.

Essentially what the title says. For added context, my current phone is on its last legs and refuses to charge half the time. So I'm hoping to try and save for a new one.

Well with July having ended, It is time for another update!

- The AC here got fixed! Been feeling a LOT better since then.
- I finished up all 40 of my ArtFight attacks! They have been posted to my page already.

With those two out of the way, I do want to mention that I do have a discord server. It isn't too active, but if you want an invite, do let me know and I might just send one over.

That said, here's hoping August goes well!

So... currently halfway through the month. While ArtFight is still my main focus, I've got a few updates.

- The AC (air conditioning) in the house I reside in broke down. This means I have to deal with the heat a LOT, and considering how intense it can get here in Michigan, this is rather difficult, as it tends to wear me out faster and also makes it hard for me to think clearly and focus. I'm doing the best I can to deal with this.
- I've gotten everyone on my ArtFight list attacked, and as such I'll be slowing down on the event to at least one attack per day. The heat as mentioned above is also a factor in this.

Overall, I might be a bit slower than usual on stuff, but I'll do my best to keep up.

Well its the end of June. I will share a few updates.

- ArtFight begins at 2PM here! I will put a heavy focus on that. That aside, I *will* still be able to take commissions when that arises.

- I got a new sketchbook recently. I will begin using it when ArtFight starts!

- Things in general have been going smooth for me as of late too. Also finished up Boukenger.

Don't really have much else to say, so yea.

Since it's the start of June, here's a few updates I want to share.

- I am planning to participate in ArtFight this year. No idea if I'll post my pieces as I do them to here, or if I post them after the event ended. Hopefully I'll be able to get a new sketchbook before then.
- I've updated my banner to a more recent render of mine, and also my profile description a bit. This explains why "official" is in my username.

Now, as for the other thing, I've been feeling burnout of sorts from game modding a ton, so I've been taking a break from that and focusing on relaxing and art and such (and also watching Dekaranger).

OOF, i forgot to post about it here, but yea.

- January was relatively normal all things considered. Did all my usual stuff and whatnot and I'm hoping to do more art throughout the year.
- I've been trying to push my lighting skills to be the best they can be in my Blender renders and Unreal level imports, especially at nighttime scenes.
- Since Bluesky's been formally opened up now, I'm probably gonna start being more active there.

And yea. February so far has been a bit better. Had more energy, and was able to take on two commissions. Also the fact I've been having actual good days as of late. Burnout still somewhat persists in the world of game modding but other than that, all good. Am definitely planning on finally getting the planned Feraligatr and Yveltal OC's that have been in my mind for a few years designed as well.

So yea, just wanted to post an update on things here.

- The issue regarding my phone has been solved!

- Commissions are still open! While I did enter a gift exchange event, I've already completed my pieces for it, meaning that I'm free to do commissions for those interested (if you are, don't hesitate to send me a note!)

- I think I forgot to mention that at the start of October, I deactivated my Twitter/X account. So if you're wondering why it isnt available anymore, now you know.

- Otherwise, things have largely been the same as they always have.

So. My phone's pretty much dead now, as the SIM card flat-out refuses to read. As such, I've had to start a new Ko-Fi goal because I'm going to need to save up to upgrade to a newer phone.
