We wanted to announce that we can do custom patch orders all by themselves as well. We also can do custom buttons.
Here's the price rundown:
Small Patches (Approx. 1 to 5 inches): $5-$8
Large Patches (Approx. 6 to 10 inches): $9-$15
Extra Large (back) Patches (Approx. 11 inches+up): $15-$35
All prices do not include shipping.
Buttons (1.25 inch):
$6for design alone.
$11per physical button.
Note us if you would like a different button size! We can make big buttons, up to 6".

Welcome to our happy little corner of the rockin' internet, where things are punk and furry! Because of our recent completion of a certain jacket for a certain awesome fox, we seem to be getting a lot of interest so here's a little rundown!
Who Are We?
Rough Draft is the combined talent of
casida and 
boilerroo! All the patches on all the jackets are created by them. Custom patches are created by boilerroo.
What Do We Make?
We make all sorts of stuff. T-shirts, patches, buttons, mostly! We do premade work and custom work.
Commissions?
Yes. Keep an eye out for journals announcing commission slots. We are sometimes open for only one jacket at a time because both artists running the show have incredibly taxing full time jobs.
Prices
Jackets range from $400-$850+ depending on design and complexity. Most jackets run approximately $500-$700.
What Does It Get Me?
A basic $400 jacket gets you a simple custom paint job, a custom patch, and a custom button. Jackets that are more like $500 gets you a choice of up to two of our premade patches, two to four custom patches, and four custom buttons including a more complex paint job. Jackets that range $850+ include studding/spikes and intricate work, up to the inclusion of LED lighting like on our wolf jacket.
What About Designs?
We will create a custom design for you for us to work off of. It will look like this: http://sta.sh/0gfqf8qmfi0 but be custom towards your choices and preferences. Let us know what colors you have preference for, or if there is a jacket we have made that you would like it to look like. Describe your design preferences. We will revise the design based on your feedback after the first draft.
Button and patch designs will follow once the jacket design is finalized. These are all hand-drawn by boilerroo and designed specifically towards your character.
What about Adult/Fetish themed jackets?
If you wanna wear it, we will probably make it. Just be aware that the content of your jacket may not be appropriate for all venues, and that we have our limits in certain areas. Just ask :) We are NOT shy.
Anything Else?
Be sure to send an accurate jacket size. We tend to purchase Levi's trucker jackets for our denim. Pleather jackets we order from Forever 21. Full leather jackets are not inexpensive and will add to the overall cost of the jacket.
The paint we use for our jackets is Speedball brand, and we heat set it after application. However, please be kind to the paint on your jacket...they will probably not withstand being tossed in the washing machine without injury of some kind to either the patches or the paint. We recommend spot cleaning.
Time To Complete
Each jacket is a handmade work of art. They can take anywhere from 4 months to 6 months to complete.
Shipping?
Once the jacket is complete we will ship it to you Fed-Ex with a tracking number. International orders are TBD, we are not sure if we are accepting those currently.
Returns/Adjustments/Alterations
As you might expect....jackets are hard to alter once they have been completed. We will do our best if the jacket does not meet your expectations, but once the jacket is shipped you must ship it back at cost to you for adjustments. Insofar we have had no unhappy customers - but we make sure of approval before we take on each step of the project. If you approved something and are unhappy, it can be very difficult to change.

No FC This Year!
Posted 10 years agoWe got a whopping ZERO votes from the FC committee, so we will not be selling you our awesome punky gear this year at Further Confusion :(
Never fear! There are many more cons nearby who do not have a voting system, and we'll STICK IT TO THE MAN by sellin' our shit over there!
We also do custom work, and we'll be offering items for sale on Etsy as well over the course of next year. Thanks for all the crazy awesome support, you guys ROCK!! See you on the flip side!!

Rough Draft - Post FC!
Posted 11 years agoHey guys! FC was A TOTAL BLAST, and we did amazingly for our first time out as Rough Draft. Thank you to EVERYONE who stopped at our table, chatted us up, bought our stuff and asked for our card! You almost SOLD US OUT entirely! We even managed to sell the little character stand-up decorations on our table, you were so eager for our work. All the jackets we brought with us are now sold, to some very happy owners who will hopefully send us lots of pictures!
We will get back to all of you about commissions and custom work shortly! We will also be opening an online shop so you can get all our goodies via Etsy and our in-progress website :)

We will have an Etsy account open by next month to sell all the patch goodies you see here. We are also busily coming up with new designs and finishing up jackets for rats, foxes and hyenas.
