Posted 9 months agois almost my birthday so im out in oregon celebrating w/ my girlfriend. ill be back mid-feb!
reframe your art perspective!
Posted a year ago❌ i dont have a consistent art style
✅ i have a broad skill range and have a lot of flexibility with how i approach the artistic process
❌ every thing i draw looks the same
✅ i found a consistent workflow that works for me, and i have a solid basis on which to adapt and change
❌ i cant draw i suck at drawing
✅ there is so much left for me to try, test, experiment with, and learn!
dont stop yourself from enjoying the process. the difference between the "perfect drawing" in your head and the drawing on your paper is that the perfect drawing - and this is a key point - is not real. that drawing you did on paper? THAT'S real. and THAT'S awesome. i love you

what feelings do you try to convey in your art?
Posted a year agotitle says it all. i was curious what kind of emotions people tend to source their inspiration from. i know some people dont always do it from direct emotions, some people work with memories more than recent feelings, if that makes sense.
what kind of nostalgia do you enjoy depicting? do you do it to process it, or to convey it to others, or to simply record its presence? or are you just drawing however you like without thinking much about it? i think there's something to be said about drawing simply of course!

Posted 2 years agoi had my back teeth stolen and im sooo exhausted. anyone got tips for recovering from wisdom teeth surgery esp when one was more problematic.... thanks o7
