So I came. Really really hard, because I thought this was a rumor and well, here it is hahahaa

We all know that Gabriel Belmont turns into Dracula at the end of Lords of Shadow (spoilers, but I think the trailer for 2 gives it away). He does it to save the world, and he has the power of both the Vampires and the Forgotten One in his grasp, as well as his hatred for God, after the sacrifices, and honestly, the manipulation he was put through to end Satan's ultimate plan for conquest.

My theory is that you don't fight as Gabriel, since he is now Dracul, but you 'do' fight as the lone, white-haired warrior with the sword at the end of the trailer, who is comparable and most likely purposefully resembles Alucard. this isn't normal canon, so anything is possible! But the way that LoS tended to stick to, then twist the original canon makes me think that it isn't Alucard, but somebody with similar connection and power that will eventually seal Dracul away for the ending cutscene in the original Lords of Shadow, and possibly help him and Zobek out in the present world against the impending return of Satan in either this, or a new installment (LoS3?)

Whatever they end up doing, after the first game, I have strong faith that this one will be just as, if not more amazing. I know that I'm in the minority that liked the LoS timeline as much, if not more than the original, but damn does this have me excited haha

Okay, a while back, I'd mentioned Breath Of Fire: The Dragon Guard - http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2541805

It's a fairly new version of a very old idea that I'd had in my mind since beating Breath of Fire V years ago, and would continue after the ending of 3, which I would try and tie 4 and 5's alternate worlds into (I think that 5 makes sense to be 1,000 years after 3, given the situation and ending). It'd be 2,000 years after 3 (and 1,000 years after 5), though I don't want to go futuristic. Dragons would be involved, and Ryu's weird hybrid state in 5 would be explained.

And Nina will have black wings, pulling heavy elements from BoF2, to give an idea of where I want to take the story lol

It'll be mainstream (not sex or Furry-based, following the actual canon faithfully, retconning only when necessary to progress the storyline clearly, and adding another chapter, though not official, to the series.

This kept in mind, I also have my own take on Final Fantasy in reserve: It'd be an original tale based on Earth (present day, not like Spirits), and would involve the Classes in the series, but not quite in the conventional sense (it 'is' present-day Earth, after all lol)

And there's Killer Instinct. If I took this on, it'd be a retelling of the games, starting with the first, ending with the second and maybe extending on that. It'd prolly be a lot like the K reboot with it being faithful to the story, just updated and expanded upon.

Not sure where I'll set it up, but I'll have a place that I'll post the pages, maybe even an actual website. Gonna try and take it seriously, so the aim is "epic", but it'll also be practice for me. Far from the greatest artist and I'm still learning things every day, so it's all for fun and the spirit of the series that'll be taken on. Should start working on this after I'm done with my current queue or commissions, which should be very soon (thank the gods lol)
