Life for me has been ok, even with covid. Mentally I've been fine and haven't had a depressive episode in a long time.

Furry stuff wise, I'm still heavily into the fandom! I actually got a new fursuit recently and I'm getting another very soon.

I do, however, want to move accounts. I feel like I need to start fresh on here and go by a name that isn't so old, so I'm going to do so in the near future.

idk felt like writing something cuz I looked back at the first art I ever uploaded on here and felt nostalgic.

the furry fandom has been a second home to me since I was 16/17 so like.... 6 years ish. That's a long ass time to be in one fandom

I also looked at the very first art I did of Ruby and it was nice to see how many changes she went through as I changed. The first ref I did of her looked awful and her body type was more like mine, and I put that she was bisexual (lol) and now she's a big ol' whale and a big fat BUTCH

I have 3 sonas so far but Ruby is still my main one and it's nice that even though we both changed a ton these past 6 years she's still my main sona and the only sona I have a suit of....... for now ;)

As conceited as it sounds, I want to get recognized more and get more photos of myself taken! I also want to add more cool pins to my ita bag and buy a ton of cool prints and stuff from the artists alley.

Main reason for going:

Well, semester is done, so now summer has officially begun for me. So how'd I do?

Aside from one class that I failed... I got A's and B's in my classes, so I'm proud of myself for that, at least. As for the class that didn't go well, I'm taking an online class over the summer that will fill that credit, so it will get taken care of. Thing about college is that yeah flunking a class sucks, but it isn't really the end of the world like you thought in high school; just do better next time and move on.

Anyway, so what's next?

Well, I need to find a job for the summer, that's a priority.

Other than that, what about art?

I will try to draw more than I was, and I'm even selling artwork in a couple months at Supercon, so that'll be fun.

As always, I'm always open for commissions.

Eh, time to accept the obvious: FA doesn't give me much to work with. I am NOT leaving, but I was wondering if Twitter might be better for promoting my art? I've noticed a lot of furries have a Twitter and maybe I could have a larger audience on there for art commissions.

Hey everyone, long time no see, eh?

For those of you who haven't guessed, I've been off this site for weeks. However, THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT. Ever since the password reset I wasn't able to log in to my account, but now the issue is fixed, so I'm now back.

I see that since I was gone I've gotten a few more watchers, so... Welcome!

Unfortunately, I haven't drawn anything new since I lost access to the account, but I'll try to draw more soon. I've been really busy, I've gotten a job, I have a(n amazing) boyfriend, I have friends in general, and my birthday is next week, so I haven't had time to really sit myself down and draw, which is a shame. The next things on my list are just going to be random, but my commissions are always open and I MIGHT be open to art trades, not sure on that one yet.

In other news, I'm going to Megaplex this August, aka my FIRST ever furry convention! I'm really excited for this and will be fursuiting! ^3^

Hey everyone,

I've gotten a few new watchers on here and I figured I'd just write how I'm feeling because it's one of those nights, I guess.

Lately I've been going through my usual depressive feelings and thoughts, plus school has been making me busy and extremely exhausted, so that's why art has been pretty much nonexistent.

I just... I don't know. I feel too tired or emotionally drained to pick up a pencil and just be creative. I feel like I don't have as much energy as I used to, and my depression and anxiety is taking a huge toll on me like it tends to do.

Currently I'm finishing a commission I owe but after that... I don't know. It will likely still be slow.

I think if this means anything it means that I need some time to sort of find myself and who I am and what my worth is and who I want to be to help myself.

I'm torn between wanting to see a therapist to wanting to figure things out myself but I don't know what to do, really.

Has anything remotely good happened recently, though? Well, if anything I recently got into Attack on Titan and finished the anime and will read the manga soon. If you haven't watched or read it yet, I recommend it, it's very well done.

Other than that not really anything exciting has happened,

Hey everyone, well before I said that I might take a break from commissions, I'm here to say that it is now definite.

Aside from the possible one or two coming up, I need to do personal art and just draw things I want in general.

Keep in mind: I am so grateful that I get the chance to be paid for doing what I love, but I feel as though I need a break and to maybe practice certain things. I want to draw more Ruby, I want to draw more OCs and possibly ones I've been planning, I want to draw more Gorillaz fan art, etc.

So how long will this last? Honestly, not long at all. I'll re-open commissions once I feel as though I want to or when I feel like I have completed what I want to complete. If by chance you ask about a commission DURING this time, I'll talk to you about it and we can discuss when I am able to do so or when I could get it done. What most artists do is accept commissions, and draw it when it's the right time, while also drawing whatever they want before it. Personally, I don't think that's the most correct thing to do FOR MYSELF because if I am paid to do a task, I want to get that task done ASAP, but again, that's just me.

To reiterate: I'm still willing to answer commission inquiries during this time! Just remember that this is indeed a break.

I don't know why I'm writing this here since no one from here has ever commissioned me yet, but I figured it might as well be important to say.

Lately I've been feeling as though I've been ONLY drawing for others- gifts mostly, but also a few commissions here and there. And that's good! I'm glad to be making money from what I love. However, I need a break and I have ideas I want to draw before anything else, so after this next commission I need to do I'll likely take a break for a little bit.

Commissions are always open, but I want to take some time off and draw at least 2-3 things I've been meaning to do, so if I get asked for one after this I'll accept it but it will take some time before it gets done or I'll tell them to ask another time.
