Just life has been a surly bastard and I have had a massive case of art block along with the stress of moving and working longer hours to pay down my debts. I am also trying to become more active with friends and locals after not having done so in the past couple of years.

I do plan on going to BLFC with my improv troupe and per usual RMFC.

I'd like to get back to drawing, but I feel that this art block has seriously impeded my way of drawing and I am not content with anything I produce :( Whoomp whoomp.

Anyways, I'm not dead. I live, I'm just grumpy and ratchet.

I have been tossing the idea around about offering commissions because, let's be honest, I need the extra money for bills. I have solely depended on overtime at my job to pay off bills that I owe and they just cut the overtime because of budgeting. (yay government funds -_- )

So the real question is, if I were to offer commissions would anyone be interested? I know my quality isn't the best out there but I find myself an OK artist when it counts.

For all of those that signed up for free art, just know I am working on them, slowly but surely! I'm pulling extra hours at work to cover bills which leaves me a tired mutt as well as a down moment cause February is kind of hard for me. Rainfurrest was fun with one minor mishap (will never ever ever ever ever ever EVER again stay at the Rodeway Inn) but overall got a chance to make some awesome new friends and reconnect with some I haven't spoken to in almost a decade.

Midwest furfest is next and BLFC is also in sight. FC is a stretch but it could happen. I might do some art but I'll see. Working on trying to get Starburst made hopefully in time for BLFC which would be awesome. That's all I got.

RMFC '14 was a blast, and thanks to everyone who came out to the improv sketch Friday and Saturday night. I truly hope you were entertained cause I know I had fun. I definitely got to meet a lot of people though I probably don't remember names T.T

Life is busy, I need to find time to art and stuff and just in general get motivated but my medication and job take every last ounce of energy out of me X.x

HOWEVER! I will be most definitely be going to more cons for 2 reasons. This year will be Rainfurrest and Midwest Furfest. It falls in line with having to use vacation time before the end of the year so I don't lose it, as well as going to places I've never been. I've always gone to the south or Cali but never Seattle or Chicago. So it will most def be an experience for sure.

After being at RMFC for 2 days, a lot of people that I know locally wondered why I stopped coming around, not being social and stopped posting art or won't do commissions/streaming . There are many reasons behind it.

I simply do not think I am capable of taking on that responsibility, nor do I think I have the skill set yet to do it. I was incredibly discouraged when I was under my previous account in trying to start a fundraiser which blew up in my face. The money made from that was donated to Colorado Sickle Cell as well as helped me eat for a day or two. I don't have the patience to stream either, and being that a lot of my work that isn't uploaded is traditional sketches, I am not fast enough to pump out digital art which seems to be the medium most would like done. And as far as pricing, I sold myself too short and dirt cheap like a hooker. That's also discouraging so I just threw my hands up and said fuck it, and dropped off the face of the net for almost 2 years.

I can not please everyone even though it is in my nature to try. So, instead of setting myself up for disappointment, I'd rather not do it at all.

I'm not too social because I hate drama, stupid people in general and most people tend to grate my nerves or set off my anxiety to the point where I'm a raging cunt. No one likes that.

So, having been busting my ass with work, trying to wiggle my way out of an art block and making room for my guy, the past 2-3 months have been a bit crazy to say the least. I'm in a bit of a slump due to stress and work, plus not really having a good amount of time to do art. Which in turn makes me feel like shit, and I don't want to do anything. However, I do intend on turning that around though the process itself has to do with my set up right now.

I need a desk, need to get the beast (desktop) up and running as well as a new laptop because this one is on it's last leg. I think once I have everything I need set up and in place, I'll get out of this funk I am in. Meaning, I can do my art and not feel like I'm mediocre!

Today is a lazy day, so I will most likely be napping and doodling pictures of random people cause I can. will most likely get them up today and scan in some sketches that I have sitting in some folders.

So, me and sis are all moved in, internet up and running and while I am (slowly) but surely unpacking, I was thinking about doing some simple cheap commissions.
