This song's a tradition to listen to for me on New Year's... If I can't sing along with it, word for word, I've drunk too much. Enjoy!

This sucks... And someone has got to be able to help!

Shane Nelson's home was broken into, and some stuff he'll likely never see again was taken. I have an idea, FA, and I think you all can help.
We all know furries who have spare computers, laptops, and the like... One of those furries has to have even a BASIC laptop they'd be willing to donate to a little girl for free (Or at least cost of parts + shipping or maybe an art trade, who knows?). So what say you, furries of FA? Want to help turn things around and give a ray of hope? If you like this idea, go ahead and do it.
Okay, that's all. Return to your fapping now.

RECIPE MEME - Test Your Might
Posted 17 years agoDid you guys really think I was going to let THIS meme go by without taking part?
==========================================
RECIPE MEME
Rules
1) Final Result MUST BE EDIBLE!
2) Final Result must be fairly unique (not readily available at typical restaurants)
3) Must not require a BA in Food Prep to complete
4) Must not cost a Gajillion Dollars / Euros / Rubles / Yen to complete
4a) ie - 90% off-the-shelf ingrediants.
5) Must be under 1 hour in total prep / serving time.
6) There is NOOOOOO..... "Rule 6"
7) Link back to the original journal (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/568283/) and reply with your journal link if you complete your own.
==========================================
So, with the holidays freshly behind us, I know many of you have lots of left over mashed potatoes. Now, of course, you could just eat them like that, but why bother? No, for my entry to this meme, I'm going to teach you how to turn those left over mashed potatoes into a delicious snack! It's time for....
Potato Pancakes (Latkes for the non-gentile)
2 cups mashed potatoes (approximately)
2 eggs
1/4 cup flour
2 T minced garlic
2 T minced onion
salt & pepper, to taste
oil, for frying
Mix the eggs, flour, garlic, onion, salt, & pepper into mashed potatoes. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until everything is all nice and mixed. (Make sure the mix is not too thin... If it is, add a little bit more flour. Also, feel free to play around with the onions and garlic. If, like me, you LOVE the garlic, you can add more. This recipe is more of a guide, really, to help you out until you get the basics down & can customize it yourself!)
Preheat your skillet or griddle and add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil for frying.
Scoop about 1/8 cup of the potato mix onto the pan, and then flatten slightly with the spatula or the back of a spoon. Brown the pancake on both sides (Once the griddle is hot, this should only take 3-4 minutes each side) and enjoy!
Now, there's many ways of eating these. If you were to order these in IHOP, for example, they'd give you some ketchup and sometimes some hot sauce. Nothing wrong with this, but let's widen some horizons, shall we?
Next up, if you ordered these in a new York Style Deli, more than likely you would get these with either some apple sauce on top (Which is all right, IMO), or topped with sour cream, chives, and possibly even cheese in some areas.
The point is, try it with whatever you want on these. Personally, I like crumbled feta and avocado slices on my pancakes that usually have about 2 cloves of garlic per pancake, is that so wrong? Oy, what's with the dirty looks? Now shoo, I have baking to do, and you all have pancakes to make!

Posted 17 years agoWishlist Instructions:
Step One
Make a post. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes.
Step Two
Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out; it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1) Cookware (Always!)
2) More plus size/chubby girls in pr0n pics on FA
3) The same as above, just involving anal? (I know, I'm a perv, too!)
4) A better camera
5) Ruhe in Chef Whites pics
6) Commissions for holiday treats?
7) Hugs
8) Kisses
9) Peace on Earth
10) More watches & comments?

Holiday Gift Commissions! Order now!
Posted 17 years agoI decided to start this a little early, as I have time... I'm going to start making edible art of furries.
For $10 I'll put a PG headshot of a character on a cookie. Think of it as an edible con badge. For $40 I'll do a dozen of such cookies. If you want to add a character to the headshot, it'll be $5 a character, maximum 2 additional characters for space constraints.
For $50 & up, I'll do a marzipan, fondant, & chocolate sculpture of your character. (Price varies due to size & current market prices)
For characters on cakes, prices will be negotiable.
So, I should have pictures up by the end of the weekend, and away I'll go! And, of course, I AM taking commissions for holiday desserts of all shapes & sizes shipped anywhere in North America! So order now!
(Note: Prices do NOT include shipping. As this is FOOD being shipped, most MUST be shipped overnight for safety factors. Cookies can be mailed, but I HIGHLY prefer to ship via FedEx or California Overnight if on the west coast...)

About the new banner & dinner tomorrow...
Posted 17 years agoWho the fuck cares!? It's a fucking banner! Just deal with the fucking joke!
Now that that's out of the way, I've been baking like mad. I know some would like to know what a CHEF is making for Thanksgiving, so here it is:
Roast Turkey
Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes
White Wine Turkey Gravy
Spinach and Cranberry Salad
Cranberry Sauce
Hawaiian Sweet Bread Dinner Rolls
Baked Sweet Potato Slices
Stuffing
Zesty White Wine Grean Beans
Pumpkin Pie
I am likely going to serve the mashed potatoes as an ice cream scoop in a martini glass topped with the gravy. There's another tasty variation of this classic that I've seen done recently, if you're feeling really creative. Take your macaroni & cheese & put an ice cream scoop in a martini glass. THEN pan-fry several kinds of mushrooms and some small steak filets together in a little olive oil or butter before topping the macaroni & cheese with it. Try THAT tomorrow, or try the more traditional mashed potatoes & gravy martini, for a bit of ellegence at your dinner.
Well, that's it for now! Off to rest for tomorrow!

Taking Thanksgiving 'Commissions'...
Posted 17 years agoTired of going to family gatherings for Thanksgiving with nothing but an appetite? Want to save time cooking for that turkey or ham? Have I got a deal for you! I'll make you baked goods and overnight ship them to you in time for the holidays! Send me a note if interested, and we can discuss products, amounts, and how soon you need it. Due to the cost of ingredients, I will charge you 50% down at the start (Standard catering, sorry... Keeps the unserious away....), and then send you pictures of the finished product. Then you pay the remainder and I overnight ship the baked goods to you. I usually bake in large amounts, so it'll be nice to do some smaller projects. So, if you have a hankering for fresh breads, dinner rolls, or similar for the holidays... Send me a note, and let's talk some business!
My cat is a GEEK!
Posted 17 years agoI have a set of plushie d20 dice... My cat has decided that the d20 itself is her new cat toy, & she spends hours batting it around & rolling it. Maybe she wants to be a gamer?
*grumbles* Technical difficulties with pictures...
Posted 17 years agoSeems my power source on my computer is failing... When i try to upload my pictures from my camera, the computer craps out & dies. As soon as i get a replacement power source (Next Saturday), you guys get pictures.
Coming soon... Pastry pictures!
Posted 17 years agoOkay, I'm doing 15+ hours days as I've gone BACK to school to up my credentials AND get ready for some sekkrit competitions I'll tell you all about later (Those VERY few who DO know, no spoilers, please... I do NOT want asshats to ruin these chances for me.). BUT, starting likely Wednesday or Thursday, expect pictures of some of my work to be started being posted on here. Fuck those that will claim my work isn't art in advance. Let them go through as much schooling as I have and am going through and THEN say that... So, yeah. Food art is coming. Enjoy................
Web Comics I Enjoy Reading...
Posted 17 years agoWhen I get the chance, here are the comics I always make time to read...
Carry On by Kathryn Garrison
http://www.hirezfox.com/km/co/co.html
This is an interesting universe, and it has some of the VERY few Jewish characters in Furry comics. While I may cringe at her spelling of some holidays & Yiddish, it is the thought that counts. I suggest this comic for its good story lines and surprisingly good humor.
Girl Genius by the Studio Foglio
http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php
I used to read this in comic book form, and still love reading it in its online form. True, the story is a Mary Sue story, but its a FUN Mary Sue story! And it even has the balls to poke fun at itself, too. Go ahead and tart reading this from the start, if you never have heard of this before...
Jack by David Hopkins
http://pholph.com/
Yes, I read Jack. While it updates at odd times, and the art isn't the BEST, I do enjoy the storyline. It's one of my guilty pleasures, if you will.
Buddies in Big Places by Seth Triggs
http://bibp.com/
Seth explains this comic as, "As seen on Portal of Evil! Indeed, it's so bad it got listed twice!". I personally think his comic's gotten a bad rap. For a comic that he produces for no money, daily, and hasn't missed nary an update yet... He does a damn good job. This is a comic you read for its storyline, pure and simple... And after several years, it has a hell of one that's been spun, as well as several spinoff web comics.
Better Days by Jay Naylor
http://www.jaynaylor.com/betterdays/
I used to know Fisk IRL for a stint, so I admit I started reading the comic when it started as a bit of a nod to that. I knew him, so I wanted to toss him hits. But, what i got in return was an excellent comic that has very rarely let me down. His portrayal of the Jewish mouse father in the basement with guns reminded me too much of my youth as a Jew in the Midwest, and that was the clincher for me. Not a Monday or Friday goes by that I don't stay up to read the latest strip of this comic.
Carpe Diem by Graveyard Greg & Various Artists
http://www.webcomicsnation.com/grav.....iem/series.php
At first I wrote off this comic as as ASB or Circles knock off. It wasn't until a friend drew the Halloween special last year that I really sat down to give this strip a chance. It is very well written, but suffers from VERY long update lags, thus making it hard to follow the story at times. Still, it is worth looking into.
Broken Plot Device by Lizard Beth
http://www.brokenplotdevice.com/
A newcomer to my web comic reading, it still has a place in my bookmarks. This comic is still in it's first 6 months or so, and only just introduced the final characters to the main cast. So far, I have liked what I've seen. It's fun watching a web comic be born, and I hope that beth doesn't fall prey to the fate many web comic artists do... It'd be shame if a comic with such promise died out like some of the great ones I liked in the past have. (The Parking Lot is Full and The Class Menagerie, anyone?)
Girls With Slingshots by Danielle Corsetto
http://www.daniellecorsetto.com/gws.html
Working in a porn store, hanging out in coffee shops and bars, a talking Mexican cactus, sex, blogging, and more... And that was just the first year. All you need to know is this is the brilliant mind who drew The Adventures of Bat Boy comic for the Weekly World news before it folded, and you know already she's worth reading...
Something Positive by RK Milholland
http://www.somethingpositive.net/
It's rare that we jaded have a voice in the world, and Randy gives us that voice several times a week in comic form. His characters do and say ALL the things many of us wish we could, but usually can't for various reasons. He insults all cultures, religions and fandoms equally, and holds up a mirror to the world very few can look into and laugh at. But if you CAN laugh at that mirror, you'll never regret reading this comic.
Coming up Violet Written by Brian Daniel, drawn by Misty Caldwell
http://www.webcomicsnation.com/bdan.....let/series.php
I used to read this as Fur Will Fly, and now happily follow its recent incarnation. It's a fun story, and it does have its amusing points... Though I do wonder at times what ever happened to some of the other cast members from FWF as I read this future story...
Fletcher Apts. by JTigerclaw
http://www.fletcherapts.com/
This is another REALLY good web comic that suffers from VERY long waits between updates. The story is great, but it just leaves us hanging... Kind of like having sex, then RIGHT before climax your partner rolls over and falls asleep. And you're sitting there in bed staring at them wimpering out, "But... What about me...?" Yeah, the wait between comics for this strip can be like that. But, none the less, it is a good comic and worth the read.
Kit 'n' Kay Boodle by Richard Katellis
http://kitnkayboodle.comicgenesis.com/
This is my other guilty pleasure in web comic reading. Jack i read for he blood and gritty reality, and Kit n Kay are like my cotton candy & bubblegum with a sexual twist. True, sometimes I get lost on the cameos at times, but i still keep reading none the less. Plus, if the artist and his mousie girl are even HALF as sexual in real life as they are in the comic, they'll be together for years and years to come...
So, yeah. That's the comics I read! Anyone know some I might be missing that might be worth looking into?

Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'awl's neighborhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse's shell
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller...

And now, zombies in the banner, dance for me as I scare these readers with 80's rap!
Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'awl's neighborhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse's shell
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller...
*cackles and heads out*
I'm a fucking spooky geek...

pikacha &
RevaDiehard did this, so I am, as well...1. Guys and/or Girls?
i like the girls. I'm a furry fan, so of course i tried the guy route... It's just not me.
2. What turns you on, furry and real life?
I like full figures, submissive qualities, and a good personality. Being poly is a plus, as well.
3. Dominant, or Submissive?
I have a pretty heavy Dominant streak.
4. What gets you the most randy? (i.e. a long workout, or some kind of smell/taste)
Making out, candlelight, and rain...
5. What are you most likely: The Romantic, The Pervert, The Whore?
I prefer to think myself the romantic, though some may see me as the pervert. Who is to say?
6. You like fore-play, or just get straight to it?
I am a huge fan of foreplay. After all, a scene in BDSM is nothing more than foreplay... As such, a lot of times, I'd even be happy with JUST foreplay. Sometimes you just need to give a spanking or a caning or just spend the night cuddling and making out, you know?
7. What's your #1 thing to do before sex?
make sure I have protection.
8. Do you do it clothed, or butt-naked?
Nekkid, almost always.
9. Lots of noise, or keep quiet?
I'm a quiet one. Though i have been known to growl during climax.
10. Where would you want to have sex at? (excluding the bed)
Hmmm, I think it'd be fun to have sex in a bakery, to be honest... But that's likely the pastry chef in me wanting to corrupt such a place.
11. What's your favorite position?
It's a toss-up for me. I am a huge fan of the girl on top, as it is such a delight to watch her bouncing and moaning during sex. I also like anal, because there's such a naughty quality to it. I also enjoy GIVING oral to the ladies. It is very satisfying to have your hair gripped and pulled as she screams from her 3rd or 4th climax... You just get such a good feeling from that, you know?
12. Any kind of fetishes at all?
let's see... BDSM in almost all its forms, plus-size ladies, and... Hmm, if I hink of more, I'll add it.
Happy new year!

I wanna do this new pic idea somehow...
Posted 17 years agoSo, if you've searched FA, there's a new awesome picture idea... People are starting to do pictures of their character & player together! So far, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1522001/ & http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1505113/ are the best examples of this... I admit, I'd love to get one of these of Ruhe VR & Ruhe IRL.
Of course, there's a down side someone mentioned to me just now... How soon before people start posting 'yiffy' versions of these? I.E., players and characters having 'intimate moments' together.

Memories of D&D (I blame Cheska & Drakefenwick)
Posted 17 years agoI posted this little tale from my gaming past over at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1519298/ due to ANOTHER D&D memory being brought to mind, but I thought I'd share it here, too...
When I first started DMing, I was 16 & had to take what players I could get. One of the players was a thief in both character AND RL... Books, dice, and more would 'disappear' whenever he was around. Yet I was a new DM, so I had to take what I could get, player-wise.
Finally, he crossed the line no player should ever cross. When he found out that the 'gold' he found on an orc was fool's gold, he started shouting out, "You can't do that to me! I'm a player, and you're the DM! Your ONE job is to sit there, shut up, and give us gold, treasures, and experience!"
Silence fell over the table as everyone stared in shock at the guy. I was, understandably, pissed. So, we all agreed to call it a night before tempers got more heated.
Over the next week, I called up the other players, and we all agreed that we were sick of this guy, his stealing, and his attitude. So, it fell to me, the DM, to kick him out. That's when I devised my plan to be the 'good DM' he so wanted.
Next game day, the other players arrived early, and I let them know that the thief's player was going to get killed more than likely, & then he'd be kicked out of the group. I also let them know that if they tipped him off or helped him, their own characters may share the same fate. The rest of the party chuckled and agreed that they just wanted to 'enjoy the show' of what was to come.
So the thief finally arrived, and the first words out of his mouth were, "So, are you going to be a good little DM today, BOY?" I assured him that I was with a crocodile smile, and started up the game for the night.
A few minutes into the game, they came to a clearing by a cliff, and the flavor text started pouring out. I described an open cave with treasure and gold pieces scattered out from the cave's opening - painting every picture of a dragon's home with the dragon absent from the scene. From the Thief comes the yell of, "MINE!" before he shouts out that his character is running towards the cave.
I shrug and make a few rolls, then nod to him. "That's fine. Unfortunently, your loud yell caused a small avalanche. When you enter the cave, rocks fall behind you, trapping you in the cave."
He glared at me before asking, "How soon before I can get out?"
"Oh, the rest of the party can dig you out in about an hour or so... Do you want to light a torch to see what's in the cave?" Thoughts of an hour alone with a dragon's horde going through his head, he smiled wide as he had his character light the torch. That is when I smiled and uttered what, to this day, is my favorite line I ever said as a DM: "As the torch light flickers awake, your eyes adjust to the light. Once they do, you realize that IF you survive this, you will be the most famous thief in all the realm..."
The smile fell from his face as he did a double-take. "Um, what do you mean 'if' I survive this...?"
I just smiled wider as I picked up my dice. "Well, you know how rumor has it that there is only one tarrasque per elemental plane of existance?" He nods slowly. "Well, you just found out that is a fallacy, as you inturrupted two as they were in the middle of mating. They don't look too happy, so roll for initiative..."
The best part, after he was mangled up, he asked if the party was going to rescue him. The party, laughing their asses off, told him that the characters heard his screams and ran for their lives. As for a revive spell, I politely told him that after he was eaten by the tarrasques, they finished their mating and teleported off to different planes of existence. I think, from my rolls, part of him was 'left' in the fire plane, and part in the water realm. But I don't thik anything would go near tarrasque dung to see if that is true...
Suffice to say, with his character killed in the most painful and un-revivable way, he was then kicked from the group to bother us no more.
The lesson from this, of course, is respect the DM. Bribing the DM with pizza doesn't hurt, either.
