TELEGRAM... WHY...? (important)
Posted 2 weeks agoSo, pretty much without warning, I found out last week that my Telegram has been frozen, blocked and is up for deletion for "violating their terms". I'm not a heavy user, and I was JUST getting back to it after a year of inactivity there, and THIS is what's happening now...? I don't know why this is, but I don't believe I have violated any of their terms, unless I overlooked something, but even then, I was careful.
I BADLY wanted to expand my reach to artists over there, but now... this move caught me by surprise. I was not told what exactly I did to have violated said Terms. I've been trying repeatedly to appeal, to no success. And I tried contacting their Support team. I've yet to hear back.

In other 'news', my 33rd BDAY is coming up this Thursday. Though... will it be a 'happy' Birthday, after all that's happened?

Posted 3 weeks agoOkay, guys... ya might wanna sit down for this. And I'll probably go all over the place, so bear with me here.
As I already said before, I had to spend substantial money on camera equipment that my new class requires of me, and unfortunately, I misjudged how much I'd have left over on certain bills, and while I had my folks foot me on my rent, I'm HESITANT to do the same for my phone that's about to get cut off soon (upwards of 60usd).
So yeah, unless my school gives another student loan disbursement soon, I have to weigh my options.
And it CERTAINLY isn't helping that at the same time, a couple of my past Commissioners have shown their impatience of me being slow to update on my work for them... and I don't blame them. Part of this is on ME.
So the gist is... part of me wants to just POSTPONE Commissions and YCH's altogether, so I can focus on what I already owe... but at the same time, I'm missing bill payments, debt collectors are on my tail, and I STILL don't have a long-term strategy for when I leave school again, that I'll be financially sound. I'm currently not in an ideal spot, as money is concerned. Yeah... and I'm also hesitant to do another Incentive Drive, as the last one... didn't really go anywhere. What are my next steps here? What can I do? Let me know below what IS the next appropriate course of action. I need help again....
Well, enough of that.

As mentioned before, I'm currently working on a story with chapters that needs some proofreading. You can note me if you wanna help out.
Annnnnnnnnnd back to talking about helping out a brother, while I'm contending with school AND getting back to shortening my queue of overdues, I'm still open for Comms (with limited slots) and my BounceCruiser is still looking for more riders to take it for a SPIN.
And call it... an EMERGENCY-ish, of sorts. My phone bill is about to get cut off (the bill is at $60), and, bears reminding, I REALLY don't want to ask my folks again for more money. I can't chance it, can I? So yeah. I'm once again gonna need whatever help I can land with. As usual, if yuou can't help out, find someone who CAN. Is that cool???
Now, another thing to keep in mind... while it's been rather slow, I'm contending with finind new ways to make my workflow among both school and cartooning for you peeps much more... fluid.
With that, I'll wrap up this one for now. Unless a new development or summat comes about. Until then, I'll be waiting.

I'd like to reiterate that I actually do have a NUMBER of projects that have been sitting in the back of my mind for a while, wanting to be implemented. These include:
* A romantic/drama story about Gilda the griffon from MLP.
* A macro/micro comic series with Spike.
* An 18+ game that I've teased earlier on involving my kobold character.
* A BRAND NEW side series of mini stories with new OC dragons. And balloons! This will be released in chapters.
* CURRENTLY in the works... another NEW STORY about some FAMILIAR dragons, and I'm calling it, "Dragonslick: The Smooth Curse", which will be released in chapters.
* POSSIBLE testing with animations using OpenToonz. Look out for that in the future.
That's it for now, I think. Oh, and don't forget about my very own BounceCruiser! STILL on the 'market' for any toon that wants one.
Oh, and as of this post, this fox/dragon will have 33 reasons to stay tooned up, 3 Thursdays from now! Yay.

Posted a month agoSooooooooooooooooo...! Fall is almost here. AND in light of starting my new class of Digital Photography this week, I had to buy some equipment that the school requires of me to complete this course.
UNFORTUNATELY, this means I'll be about $130-odd short of paying my rent coming up this Friday. Yep. Even though I got the other bills sorted out, I'm still struggling over here, given the camera equipment that my new school asks of me.
On that note, I'm still itching for some valuable feedback regarding the unveiling of my latest creation... the BounceCruiser. STILL open, and it's dummy cheap, too. 👍
I love this device, and I want it to succeed.

I'm doing my damnedest to blow through these overdues, while keeping up with school stuff, AND while making sure my recent agenda, which includes my game and a dragonified... me... ALL stay in order. It's not easy to manage much without feeling overwhelmed, which your boi is sadly prone to being. But y'all deserve the BEST, even though I'm still tackling with financial straits and have been for a good while now, despite student loans, which largely have to go to school supplies and making sure my lights stay on. And at the same time, I REALLY want to see those projects through. That game idea is a HUGE undertaking, and I've never felt more confident in it. The challenge is finding help in its development. (coding and animations and what-have-you)
ANYWAY, that's what I'm facing at the moment. But enough about me. TIME FOR A SELF ASSESSMENT. How are YOU ALL DOING HERE???

DRAGONS?! (update) + Patreon Update

I'm still a LITTLE bummed about missing out plenty regarding this Year of the Dragon stuff, which was last year.
SOOOOOOOOOOO... I had an inkling. What if I dedicate the latter half of this year to... pretty much EVERYTHING dragon? And heck, I think it's long time that I turned myself into one. It's the least I could do, no?
And, another idea in the back of my head as of late... my very own dragon/griffon hybrid character. Be on the lookout for THAT, too~!
On that note: I've read that kobolds, according to D&D lore, are considered distant relatives to dragons, though not really related. Any thoughts on this?

Posted 5 months agoHello again, all! While FA was down, I did some updating of quite a roller coaster via my Discord, DA and social medias.
To make a long story short, I fell short of cash needed to pay my bills because of a DUMB money decision, I've been hating myself ever since, and my folks have just agreed to lend my some money to paid my rent (finally), but the thing is, I'll still need to pay them back in increments. So NOW, my focus has shifted to paying my phone and internet bills, totaling around $100.
ALSO... while I'm grateful for that, I'm still feeling a bit sour from yesterday's episode with my folks... but... I can't let this get to me. I have work to do, both with my Commissions (and my latest YCH), PLUS schoolwork. I still wish I hadn't have to beg, though... 😔
To me, it leaves a bad taste for my would-be customers. AND my friends....
With that aside, let's do a ROLL CALL. Anyone here is still with me? I've been through a hell of a ride these past few days, and I could really use some comfort here, everyfur. ❤️

Long story short, I need to pay my $140 rent today, or risk a $35 late fee. Not only that, my gas is about to be cut off unless I fork up another $130 REALLY soon. AND I'm now 1 month late on my electricity bill set at $175 (just to keep up) and due later this month. Not to mention my $60 phone bill in a couple of weeks.
GOD, this sucks....

Posted 6 months agoYep. This is the SECOND time PP is screwing me here. I guess this is what I get for not having converted back to a personal account after that last debacle. If this keeps up, I'll likely need to migrate to a different email address and create a new account there. On THAT note, I already opened up a Cash App, pretty much as backup. ANYWAY, I feared that my latest Drive is already bombing, and I did promise an update pic, but MY GAWD. I gotta do better with keeping you all up to speed, even with all that's going on, here and IRL. School, debt tackling, etc. Again, I have to apologize for another unusual delay in my responses, especially over on my Discord. I think it's about time that I got myself a mod there. Just someone that can help me keep things over there up to date in my constant absence. Any volunteers? I believe I'm ready for it this time.
LASTLY, I'm slowly trying to get my mojo back, in spite of that latest unannounced art block. And as a reminder (actually 2), I'm PARTIALLY reopening Commissions and YCH's (until or unless something dramatic happens to Sly and Carmelita (hint hint?)). IMPORTANT UPDATE 📝 (NOT an April Fools joke...)
Posted 6 months agoHello again, everyfur. Missed your blue boi? I missed ya, too, not gonna cap. Let's just get over with what went down in terms of me being AFK.
No lie: I'm feeling a bit pessimistic about THIS Drive as well, giving how it's going. (or rather not going) And I DID read some comments, so I have to make some decisions. To start off, I'm gonna do something a bit different... I will be putting a temporary pause on the Sly/Carmelita WG Drive. What does this mean? I'll still be accepting donations for it, only the Drive will be placed slightly lower on my list of priorities (I'll probably make a couple of fill-ins, periodically, to show that it's not dead). This move will be so that I can focus on other things in my personal agenda, not to mention my overdue requests. With that, I'll open be RE-opening Commissions and YCH's, but with limited slots. On THAT note... please, answer this for me, as I need some feedback on it...
... should I raise my Comm prices? If so, by what factor? It has been who knows how long since them prices changed. Let me know below.
Getting back to cartooning real quick: once again, I have to apologize for not proving y'all much arts as of late. ON that note, I probably should've done a better job talking to many of you that needed a reply, both across these sites, and on social media and my Discord. I know I'm going all over the place here, but bear with me, all. I had to content with keeping up with school work, familial errands, go to an eye doctor, AND since my disability benefits have been lowered, I need to shuffle around to ensure nothing gets cut off. I managed to get the important bills out of the way for now, but now what? I'm slowly starting to wonder if drives are a good idea anymore... on MY end. It sucks for me to even think about that, because there are other artists doing similar drives, and... okay, so.... Maybe I AM nitpicking and a bit envious... OR it could be that I'm a tad bit desperate to pay off some of my mounting debt. My student loans can only take me so far, and even THAT is about to run out soon, forcing me to shuffle more money around for tuition. I'm sorry, everyone... for dragging you through this. I'm running out of options, and I NEED to know what the best course of action is. Anything? Again, I'd love to hear for you.... And I think I need to do a better job replying back, even with current events.
And that is my rant/vent... for the moment....

Posted 8 months agoOkay... I don't know what's going on, but PayPal's screwing me here, particularly with my Business account. I honestly don't know why I switched from Personal to such years ago, but... here I am. And thanks to the new policies, I gotta weigh my options.
