I primarily use Photoshop CC for cartooning at the moment.
I will not use or support AI in the making of my content, and I will never use or support such. I will not condone use of my OCs in AI chatbots without my explicit approval, but even then I'll still deny those requests. So overall, NO AI.

[VENT] I need to ask y'all something... (G)

Yes, it's about my last 2-3 updates, but seriously... I need to REALLY hear from you all this....
WHO AM I?
Both as a toon, and as an artist....
Because after my friend blocked me over this stupid topic such as even a MERE suggestion of even 1% usage of generative AI... I did some reflecting.
And you know what?
FRICK IT.
I don't care any this AI crap anymore... I just want my friend back, bro... 😔
And if this topic alone means losing a friend, then I want NO part of it!
Still, my biggest fear now is that the damage has been done, and that I REALLY severed it no matter what I do going forward. THIS should NOT be who I am. I didn't come to these fandoms to mislead users to think that I'm replacing my own creativity. I've been a self-taught cartoonist for 14 years at this point. I do NOT wish to let that go down the drain. I really thought that I would get some sort of following, and yes, I've been on and off again frequently because of life and other factors... but I never wanted to give y'all any bad ideas that where I stand. And... frankly... I probably should've done a better job of communicating that.
Now for the TL:DR -
I'm stuck because I once suggested experimenting with AI tools for a completely different audience (not here). But even then, a friend blocked me, because apparently I was advocating for such. Well, I since changed my tune, so NO MORE OF THAT.
And I wasn't lying when I said I NEVER EVER TRACE arts, AI or not AI. In fact, I'm scrapping the idea of using guides in that field, which was once a thought, but not anymore.
And it looks like to me, given your latest comments (yes, I still read them) that even the mention of AI is a relationship killer....
So, NOW, what do I do?
No, seriously. How can I move on, when I keep making mistakes that end friendships...? And it certainly doesn't help that I'm in another financial slump and student loans are about to stop this year....
So even if I DO now advocate AGAINST AI usage, then what...? After what just took place, now what...? Will anybody, still help out a struggling cartoonist...?
I really messed up here, good intentions or not....
And to those of you who are even more hesitant or consider skipping my services altogether, again, I don't blame you. I just wish I could turn back the clock on all of this...! And be the artist you all deserve to have....
