cell phone curse
Posted 14 years agois there such a thing as a cell phone curse as to where a person is not allowed a cell phone or do i just really hate cell phones. lets go through my cell phone history and reasons why i am no longer using that phone
1: my first cellphone was a Virgin mobile, a simple phone, prepaid. as always, no matter what type of phone it was, if it was your first one you didn't care what it looked like, just that you had one. Reason of Death: cracked screen, buttons came out of the body, rendering it useless. Actual price of phone: $50 Price paid: $20 how long it lasted: 1 & 1/2 years
2:this one was a Nextel flip phone that i called a brick for the reason of that it looked like a brick. it was my indestructible brick. i thoroughly tested that fact. Reason of death: it was 2 days after i was about to get a new phone when me and my friends were messing around when someone got one good kick at it and it shattered, completely. Actual price of phone:$100 price paid: $30 how long it lasted: almost a year.
3: this one was a slightly upgraded version of my last phone, still a Nextel, still a brick. but i did not test it for being indestructible. Reason of death: i had it open in my hand when it slipped out and fell to the ground still open, cracking the screen and busting the bottom of the phone. Actual price of phone:$120 price paid: $40 how long it lasted: a little longer then a year
4: my memory is a little fuzzy after this point but i had at least 2 more phone that i had that i used and became paperweights but the next one i do remember was my awesome LG view, a pretty cool phone and i got a lot of use out of it. reason of death: i believe the touchscreen on it didnt want to do anything so it just quit, everything else was fine but i couldnt use it because it was a purely touchscreen phone. Actual price of phone: $200 price paid: $50 how long it lasted: an incredible 2 or 3 years maybe longer.
5: this one was an interesting, it was a transition phone, it was the 1st generation, and i mean 1st generation blackberry, it even had the side wheel. i still never figured out entirely of what the phone did or find secrets of the phone. Reason of death: i believe that it was because of the battery or the actual mechanics of the phone itself and it would never turn on, just saying that there were a lot of errors. Actual price of phone:$30 price paid: $5 how long it lasted: a month
6: and now the best for last, this was a beauty of a phone the HTC inspire, a 4G Android. it did so many things and one of the best phones that i had so far. Reason of death: it wanted to get away from me and go diving off the pier into the ocean to swim with the fish. Actual price $500-$600 price paid:$100 and the best thing How long it lasted: 5 weeks
