Well it's been most of forever since I've written a journal here. If you couldn't tell by the fact that I've written a new one, I'M NOT DEAD! :D (yet)

I've gone through a lot of twists and turns lately, but I think I may be starting to get my balance back. We'll see how this goes.

I'll be going to Furnal Equinox in March! Woohoo! :D I wish I had a better camera to take with me, but I guess my cell phone camera will have to suffice.

As for the cosmos, well... it's sparkly and pretty. :3

So I found these two really beat up and broken iPhones in the e-waste recycling bin here at school. I used parts from the worse off one to repair the other and now I have an almost completely working iPhone! :D
Mind you the exterior is no where near as pretty as I'm sure it once was, but hey I'm not compaining! X3
What's really hillarious is the privious owner left the browser open to porn and has a photo of some single use packets of flavored lube in the photo album. Kinda weird though when I actually stop to think about it. :/

So, yeah... frat parties are, um, interesting. At the same time, grinding with a guy at a frat party is a little unsettling. Not because it's a guy, but because it's a frat party. Nothing bad happened though so, yay! Also dancing with an ex is really weird. Any remnants of hostility over the break-up there might still be between us aside, I'm kinda glad he's graduating. It'll be a bit less awkward once he's gone.

Anyway, we gave an awesome performance at our spring show. Packed house on the brink of being standing room only. It was really fun, and I was almost able to completely ignore the fact that my parents were there (bleh *shakes fist at them* 500+ miles is supposed to be far enough so they don't do shit like that).

Got a large report due tomorrow that I haven't exactly started yet, so I'm going to be dead for a little while. If I keep thinking, "just one and half more weeks till summer," I should be able to get thought this. :D

Does anyone have any advice on how to use the FL Studio 8 vocoder plug-in? Like, I can get it to give me something, but it's not very understandable... at all.

I've got a job interview and auditions today, the day when I've got the most classes and the most obnoxious schedule. Alas, I'm also double booked at four with the interview and some meet-your-academic-adviser-thing, so I have to go let them know I'll be late.

Aside from all that, I was thinking last night how much I sorta hate the people to whom I am indebted for being alive. One of them stopped me from printing chapter two of my story before I left for college, which had I been able to do so losing my work on chapter two wouldn't have been that bad because I would have had a hard copy backup of the part that I really struggled to write which is now entirely lost. She was like "you're not printing that porn are you?" even though it hasn't even gotten like that yet and I was all like frustrated because the printer was acting up too and ugh. Then I also hate them both because they kept me from some of my closest friends because they were trying to control something they can't control about me, which kept me from knowing how one of those friends felt about me (sorry, I have to say this) who I felt a similar way for and from knowing what was going on with his life until it was long past when it happened and (in a way) undone.

That second part probably sounds like a random spew of garbled thoughts, which it kinda is, so don't try to understand it. That's if you were about to try, which you probably weren't anyway. Well, I need to go get breakfast before my 8am class. :3

I was writing more of chapter 2 today and it was coming along nicely... well now I tried to open it and it says "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened." luckily I still have an older version, but there was so much I did today and so much I got just right that it's going to be such a major pain in the ass to reproduce not only that but I lost more of chapter 2 that I wrote in the past... I'm so depressed right now

I'm at college now and finally have my laptop (woot!), so I can start visiting FA again on a regular basis and not have new messages out the wazoo. (It's a long story about why I couldn't prior, which I won't go into unless anyone really wants to know.) I'm so glad I'm finally out of the house. Now I can continue my usual two-meals-a-day eat-only-what-I-need-not-what-I'm-forced-to system all year round and during the weekend (and I won't be getting dragged along to church either)! :3
Anywho, I'm still working on my work of fiction, and it is still in dire need of a name. Chapter One is almost to the point of release; I just need to rewrite one section that doesn't work quite as it should (it's hard to write anthro-fiction for the first time and attempt to train yourself never to say "man/boy," "woman/girl," "hand," "foot," and "finger" (which, btw, anyone know the anthro equivalent for finger? I have a feeling I'm going to need that eventually if I haven't already).

Quite a paradox, no? Anywho, AP tests this week and next. I've already gotten through United States Government, Comparative Politics, and Computer Science. US Gov't was a little easier than I expected (knowing how I strongly despise social sciences) and Comp Sci was a piece of cake (the cake is a lie!), which is not a lie. Comparative Politics, on the other hand, was h e l l. Oh well, it's over and done with now, water under the bridge as some say. Gah, worst 3 hours of my life, heh, not really but it was pretty bad.

In all the academic year's winding down: only four more days now! :3
I've still got some time to work in the art room with the schools tablets though, so that's good.
