Second of all, it's official. I need a new tablet.... or a cintiq.... At any rate, I need a new drawing thingy! .... Till then, I'm going back to scanning in my drawings.

In other news, I hope to better my skills and increase my awarenessnessness on this site, and others. Oh, for those who bother reading this and can haz art skillz, ever heard of this thing called Portable Sai? It's a standalone version of Paint tool Sai you can run without installing it (like on flash drives and such).... oh, and it's free too... Gonna experiment with that sucker when I can digitally draw properly again. Might help my coloring skills better...

An update! soooo I broke my tablet pc again.... but I've fixed it... again... I've managed to jerry-rig my tablet pc to our family's computer monitor(my sister isn't happy I took it...) and I got it at a somewhat working condition. If only the aspect ratios weren't so different... kinda makes drawing a bit difficult as I'm more trained to see what I'm drawing on. Long story short, it's gonna be a while for me to make some new stuff til I get a new one...

Anyone else sometimes get a weird super long delay when submitting stuff here on FA using Firefox? Maybe it's all the crap I have installed on mine...

Huzzah! My tablet pc has been restored! ... sort of... I took the thing apart, and fixed the screen flickering problem (turns out it was a loose connection. go figure), so I'm good to go with that! But, I still need the work. I may have gotten this thing back in working order, but I will be needing a better one soon. Also will be needing to save up for my car. So, if you could find it in your hearts (and wallets), how about commissioning a piece or two from me? Especially since it's during my Super Happy Fun Special! :D

My tablet PC is starting to show it's last legs...! Seriously, it won't actually work unless I hold it at a certain angle... That's not a good sign... Shit... I just realized that's ONE MOOOOORE THING that I need to get fixed/replaced.... god they're starting to pile up... At any rate, would it be too much trouble to ask you guys for some help? So I'm finally caught up with season 2 of My Little Pony. Glad to see they gave Luna an episode dedicated to her. I was a bit miffed that they would introduce two princesses, yet only one made an appearance in every other episode. I almost thought they sealed her up again after she reconciled with her sister... Well now I can return to other pressing matters... like finding episodes of one of my other favorite cartoons:

What are some classic toons you guys remember watching?

I'm finding that these past couple of weeks, most of my time has been spent behind the wheel. Now, I don't mind driving too much(Hell, I enjoy being able to go where I want when I want), but when you've spent more total hours driving than you have sleeping...

Anyway, I just got back from the University of West GA to see my sister perform in her play, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The drive back home, however... Let's just say., over the next few days, if I don't have to drive, I ain't gonna!

9/11 has come and gone.... and how did I celebrate it? By waking up and going to work. This day, like so many others, I felt hadn't applied to me directly, and so I just said, "Well, time for life as usual." Does that make me a horrible person? Seriously, tell me if I should be struck down by GAWD if I have the feelings that I do now. I mean, sure I felt sorry for those who lost their life during the attacks, yes I felt a bit of rage and a fraction of patriotism at the time of the attacks, and yes I know that the event was a hella lot more terrible and traumatizing for those who were there or had friends/family there when it happened.... but none of that applies to me. Nobody I knew or loved was anywhere near where the events took place, and I was safe at school trying to build a bridge with drinking straws that could support the weight of a toy truck in my introduction to technology class (protip: triangles, man). So each year, when this day comes by, I do what I do every year and just keep on living, because that's what I've been doing every single day since I was born.

Do I consider myself lucky? Hell yes, I do! If I weren't, I'd be bawling my eyes out right now, and would have to call out from work and school to let them know I'll be visiting a special spot in New York City for a few days using whatever money I scrounged up from selling most of my possessions just to make the trip there and back; or there's the other alternative in where my family and friends go and visit the spot where I died since my body was never recovered, and there's no grave for me... Listen, there's MORE THAN ENOUGH to be sad about these days, and if I just added on to what was going on, even if it didn't apply to me, I wouldn't make it at all. Even 2 the Ranting Gryphon said that people die every day, and that if he took the time to cry for each person that died, he'd have killed himself a long time ago.

And so, no folks, I will not mourn today, for I have not mourned yesterday. The time for mourning has come and gone long ago. Now is the time be alive, and live. So in my own sick and twisted way, maybe I did celebrate 9/11; not by remembering the dead, but by remembering that I am alive. And I still have much more to do...

Is it just me, or does the guy who sings that song sound a bit like 2 the Ranting Gryphon?

Anyway, currently recovering from 1 of 2 visits to the dentist. Just had 2 teeth pulled, and the next time I go, I'll be getting a root canal... fun... The good news is I got some Vicodin out of the deal. So, yay. The bad news is my wallet is as empty as Dick Chaney's soul; BUT, there is a solution! (read: commission me plzkthxbai) Anyway, moral of the story is, "All dentists are sadists!"

Now that that is out of the way...

With great power comes great responsibility.... and with new toys comes time to practice with them! Seriously, ever since I got my new (read: used) tablet pc, I've been sketching on that thing like mad! And by the looks of things, I'd say my skills are improving! .... a bit.... but still improving! I'm gonna have to study up on anatomy a bit more, and do some more reference drawings in the future.... Anyway, for those watching me, thanks for watching, and I'll see you when I see you!
