RIP Billy Paul
Posted 9 years agoI was less than 4 years old when this song came out. 1972. I probably didn't hear this song until the 80's, at some point. Billy Paul was the first artist to have the "Philly" sound and he did a great job of it. This is a song about an extra-marital affair, but his voice is what makes this song sound so great.
Billy Paul was having some problems with pancreatic cancer and was 80 years old. I'm not sure what other songs or hits he's had out, I will look into that later on, since I have the next 2 days off from work.
Looks like Mrs. Jones will be left alone at that same café, every night, at 6:30pm. Billy Paul, your song will live on forever and I will never forget it.

Posted 9 years agoThat is the date of my spouse and mine's second wedding anniversary. Specifically, it is 6-16-16, or June 16th, 2016. We will be at AC at the end of that month, so we will celebrate it then. Anthrocon will be awesome and might be our last one. Hopefully,
senkolke will get a job on the west coast and we will both move out there. I am tired of living here and in NY state. I'm still sort of young and want to try new things, before my job kills me, LOL. Hard to believe it's been two years. Time flies when you are having fun, right? Oh, well. I won't bore you with this journal any longer, have a great, furry April.

Going to Boston.
Posted 9 years agoMy spouse and I are going to Boston. Mainly for site seeing. I want to check out Cheers, while he wants to check out some RR Crossings. Not sure what else there is to see there. If any of you have ideas, please let me know. I like historic stuff. We will be there from the 17th thru the 20th.
California is put on hold.
Posted 9 years agoIn case any of you are not watching my spouse,
senkolke, our California move is put on hold. You can read all the details here, for why:

Kalifornia..........
Posted 9 years agoI mean, California. Anyways, looks like we,
senkolke and I, will be heading to California late next month. It's still a toss up between Simi Valley and Fresno. It will be a big move for me, since I never moved out of Rochester before or even out of NY state. I live such a boring life, hehe. I might be leaving my job in a few weeks, hopefully by the end of this month and have them pay me my vacation, one week at a time, until it runs out.
We are still going to Anthrocon, since we are both registered and have a room. But, it will probably be my last Anthrocon, since I will be living on the west coast. Just have to look towards FC, Califur and possibly BLFC. So, if anyone wants to see me or get pix with me, we can maybe set up a time to meet up at AC and get pix done. I will miss AC, but I do look forward to the cons on the west coast. I been to FC once and I loved it out there.

David Bowie
Posted 9 years agoI had a tough day yesterday, after finding out David Bowie past away. I don't know how I got through the day. He was a musician/singer for me, at first. The first song I probably really remember was probably Let's Dance. People mention their inspiration by his older or more popular songs, but Let's Dance was catchy and has a great video. Then China Girl came out and that was different from the previous song. It also has a great video to it.
But then I started getting into his older stuff, Space Oddity was probably one of his best songs from the 70's. Then other songs like Fame and Changes. We also have Under Pressure, a duet with David Bowie and Queen, a great collaboration between 2 powerhouses in the music industry.
As I was watching some of David Bowie's recent videos, including the last 2 from his last album, I never realized on how dark his music has become. I really like where he went with it and it sounds awesome.
Sadly, the only movie I ever saw, that he was in, was Labyrinth. It's a great movie and I love the visual effects and storyline.
I will have to start buying and/or looking up some more of his music, in the near future. I do plan on buying Blackstar, his last album.
David Bowie will forever be heard inside my head at times and he will make me smile, even if it is just for a moment. I have some great memories of his music and his videos. So, Let's Dance and remember him forever.
EDIT: One last thing I forgot to mention, David Bowie had a great song on the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, Moonage Daydream.

Anthrocon '16
Posted 9 years agoMy spouse and I are all registered for Anthrocon. Figured we would get it done now, before the price goes up.
Christmas and New Year's Journal
Posted 9 years agoI don't have too much going on for Christmas. Might get pictures in front of 4 of the local museums in the area. Last year, we got pictures in front of 4 local record shops. Since next year, my spouse and I will be moving to California, late in the year, I want some memories of Rochester.
As for New Years, I am working on NYE, until 3:30pm. After that, I go home and take a shower and Senko and I travel 4 hours up north and visit
firestormsix's place. We might be staying up there until January 2nd, since I have the first 2 days of next year off. It should be a blast and hope to meet new friends and have lots of fun.

Starting a New Job.
Posted 10 years agoOn Sunday the 13th, I start working maintenance, full time. I will be with the same company, but working at a different store. I asked to get a transfer to a store closer to the new apartment. They got one there, but not doing the same thing at my present job. They know I will be leaving late next year and moving to California. It will be different and not as many old people at this new store, like the one I am at now. So, this will be my last 4 days at the Wegmans Irondequoit store. Time to start a new chapter.
MFF-Short Recap.
Posted 10 years agoHad great time. Got to see old friends and meet some new ones, also. Got there Thursday afternoon and stayed until Monday morning. See ya at Anthrocon.
MFF Bound, soon.
Posted 10 years agoI'll be at MFF with my spouse,
senkolke. We will be taking the train there. Leaving late Wednesday night and getting to Chicago about 9:45am on Thursday. We will be staying until Monday morning and catching a flight back. Just have to figure out how to get home from the airport. Hope to get lots of pictures and have lots of fun. Hope to see you all there, hehe.

What I'm thankful for?
Posted 10 years agoI am thankful for my spouse. Senko has helped a lot with the house and the new apartment. I traveled more this past year then I have in the past. Gone to Cleveland, Letchworth state park, Howe's Caverns. He has also helped out financially and am very grateful for that. I couldn't ask for a better spouse. Thanks for being a part of my life. I love you, always.
Moving this Saturday
Posted 10 years agoJust about all packed and moving to the new apartment on Saturday. Only have my brother to help, hopefully that will be enough help. Free Wi-Fi and cable included with the rent, among the usual stuff. Yes, Senko and I are still together and always will be. We will be living in the apartment with each other.
The upside, we will be in a new neighborhood and closer to Senko's job.
The downside is, I will have to take 2 buses to get to work.

My Favourite Furry Videos For This Year
Posted 10 years agoThese are some of my favourite furry videos that came out this year. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
These videos are excellently made and I didn't make any of them. I only wish I had that kind of talent.

Furpocalypse
Posted 10 years agoWell, the con had its ups and downs, but overall, I had a great time, since I was with my spouse,
senkolke.
We got there on Friday, early afternoon. We registered, then walked around some and then got our hotel room, at the Super 8. The room was basically a suite, had 3 beds and a couch, which was probably a sofa bed. I met some old friends and some new ones too. I'm not going into all the details and accidently leave someone out.
We will be heading out in the morning and probably making some stops on the way home.
I just want to thank Senko for deciding on going, even though this will be my last FurPoc con.
Next con will be MFF and kind of excited for that one. I had such a great time the last time I went to it.

Furpocalypse and MFF.
Posted 10 years agoMy spouse and I will be at both cons. FP, we will be there from Friday afternoon until Monday morning and not exactly sure of the dates for MFF, but we should be there the whole time. It should be cool.
New digs
Posted 10 years agoMy spouse and I got approved for the apartment. So we will be moving in there next month. I just want to be out of this house by December. It's been such an eyesore to me since the fire and I don't want to be bothered with it any more.
Need sleep space at FurPocalypse.
Posted 10 years agoWell, our NYC plans for the Halloween weekend fell through and trying to come up with ideas on what to do for that weekend. If it is possible and anyone have space, my spouse and I are thinking of going to FurPoc from Friday to Monday. We need a place to crash and store our fursuits. We are both clean people and respect others. We follow the 6-2-1 rule.
senkolke has a partial suit, while I have a full fursuit. Please note either one of us if you have crash space, thanks. BTW we are willing to pay our share of the room, also.

My Computer Days are Numbered
Posted 10 years agoMy days are limited on the computer. Having lots of issues with my laptop and it's my only way to communicate through the internet. So, if you don't hear from me on any website or see me for awhile, you know why.
Before this laptop, I had a desktop computer, which I had for just over 3 years, before I had a fire at my house, then I got this laptop in 2010. I've had this laptop for 5+ years now and it's just about maxed out. I did buy an external drive to put stuff on a couple years ago, but that doesn't seem to want to work. Sad thing is, I have stuff on that external drive and I have no way of getting to it and basically is lost.
So, if you see no submissions from me for awhile or you don't see or hear from me on Skype, that's the reason why. I have some access to Facebook on my phone, but can't post any pix on there unless I took the picture on my phone.
My sweetie said he will buy me a new computer for Christmas, but that is still over two months away. We will have free internet/WiFi at the new apartment, so hopefully we will get it. Until next time, I wish everyone well and have a great life.

Birthday Wishes
Posted 10 years agoEveryone, go to
senkolke's page and leave him shouts for his birthday.

Birthday, Thank Yous, and Photos
Posted 10 years agoI had a great birthday, even though my spouse,
senkolke, had to work. He got me some great gifts. 2 Rocket Raccoon t-shirts, a Rocket Raccoon cardboard cut-out and a Rocket collector toy. He also treated me to dinner, so we went to The Cheesecake Factory, even though I hate cheesecake. The restaurant was my choice. He also bought me an Oreo ice cream cake. Remember, he also paid for my entrance into Howe Caverns and brought me there and back, last Saturday.
I want to thank everyone that gave me Happy Birthday wishes. I really appreciate them. *Hugs you all*
Lastly, I am still posting photos from Cleveland, Ohio. Sorry, but I like to only post 1-2 pix a day. I don't like to flood people's inboxes. We did manage to get some photos on the grounds, outside of Howe Caverns. Once I get done posting my Cleveland pix, I will move on to the Cavern pix.
I also want to thank
trekwolf and
ysahemlock,
tariswerewolf for the birthday gifts they sent me. They are awesome. I didn't want to leave you guys out. Now on to 48.

Birthday week.
Posted 10 years agoIt's my birthday week, this week. I took off of work for the week, paid time off. Basically my birthday gift to myself. I don't have much plan for the week, but my spouse did take me to Howes Caverns yesterday for one of my birthday gifts, I also got a Raider phone cover and a awesome book on Wolves from my friend,
trekwolf. Awesome gifts. My birthday falls on Tuesday this week. Tomorrow(Monday) evening we will watch the season premier of The Big Bang Theory. That should be good. I will open the rest of my gifts on Tuesday. They should be great. Besides that, not much going on around here. The weather will be cooler this week.

First Birthday Gift. Sort of.
Posted 10 years agoI asked my sweetie to take me to Howes Caverns when it gets close enough to my birthday. We went there today, about a 3 hour drive. This place was pretty awesome, with all the caverns, down below. Had to bring a hoodie since the temperature gets down to 52F in the caverns. Wore my awesome Dunlop Thermo+ boots, too.
After the tour and walking around the gift shop, we took some pictures on the grounds, in fursuit. Those came out really well. As we were doing some of the pix, some car was driving by and some young lady yells out the window, MY PEEPS. I said to Senko, maybe she's a furry. As we walked back towards the car, she came up to us and said hi. I still don't know who she was, but it's always cool to meet another furry out there. We finally left and made a few stops on the way home. Got home around 7pm. Thanks again, my
