PWYW Dance Commissions Now Open!

In order to get myself to go out and dance more, test my limits and try new things I am offering dance commissions to anyone who wants to dance to their favorite songs!
The good news is, this is a Pay-What-You-Want commission! You don't pay me until I've completed your video and then you can pay whatever you want based on how much you like it, how well you think I did, or even if you only have so much to give. Really I'm still really self-conscious about my dancing abilities so I don't want to make anyone pay for something crappy. But I think I have enough positive support out there to at least start with this.
Song Selection: This is an experiment to try try new things and test my adaptability so I am not going to limit any particular song styles. With that said I will totally accept songs that are more in my wheelhouse. Ideally the list would average out to moderate difficulty for me. To make it a little easier, I ask that you select TWO or THREE songs for me to choose from. I'll pick one and dance to it, if I like both I might do both depending on time available.
I know you probably want these to be in-suit dances, but that seriously limits my ability to move and learn from these. It also limits the number of places I can dance and how fast I can get these out to you. Therefore I will do them in suit if you are willing to be patient with me but otherwise I'll do them out-of-suit.
If you are interested please comment below for one of the FOUR slots. If you get a slot I'll reply asking you to note me your songs. This will keep my inbox for active commissioners only. I'm going to give myself about a month to complete them. This will give me enough time to find a decent time and place to record your video. When I'm done, I'll note you the link to the video and my paypal and you can pay whatever you wish.

To All My Friends (with a con review)
Posted 12 years agoAlright so this should have been said after FurFright, but I'm glad that got to enjoy three amazing cons with all my closest friends. So I wanted to take the time to record how amazing it was and how lucky I feel to have friends like you. If you get through the whole thing you are awesome. You can read you con or more, but I'm trying to say how happy I am to know you! ^^

The highlight was rooming with
and 
As well as having all the usual suspects there who I love with all my heart this con came to a happy culmination at the Dance Comp.
First I was stepping out of my music box with my first remixed songs, who Kwik was kind enough to mix together for me. And after prelims I was showered with encouragement and love. Needless to say I hadn't thought that my routine would do that well. But I've never been more comfortable at a dance comp until then. It started with my amazing little saber
who got the crowd and all of us waiting bouncy and excited with her kickass performance. I couldn't stop smiling a big toothy wolf smile. Towards the end I went up and had my music swapped (after imagining hours before what I would do if they screwed up my music :P) but it gave me time to warm up and play with the audience and when I danced I felt more comfortable than ever. Before they called the first place winner I had my buddies Atsu and Remix poking me and I just wasn't going to believe that after not getting third or second that I would ever get first... All I could do was collapse. I was on the verge of crying in suit because i knew the reason I was up there... winning my first dance comp was because of all the love, support, critique and encouragement that I had received from all of you these past couple of years. To my dance momma and my loving swing partner

Furry Weekend Atlanta
I am so happy I got to spend most of my time with
and 
! You ladies made this con so special and having you around made me indescribably happy. If I haven't made it clear how much I love you both, call me *kiss*. Also getting to meet 
and patrol tables and dance the night away made all our down times loads of fun as well.
Moving on to all my dancer loves. Again having you there, one big supportive family was nothing short of amazing. Skipping ahead to the dance, so much support from Recca and Malo, as well as all of my friends did a number on my anxiousness at the biggest furry dance comp. But it all boiled down to one moment.
The Feels Start Here:
When I finished my dance and heard the crowd and all of you cheerng in the background, I didn't know what to do. Then I heard everyone chanting "Sadie"... My heart was ripped into a million pieces as it tried to reach out to all of you. I know that not everyone knows who I am, and I am fine with that, but I knew my friends started that chant, and everyone else joined in because I had entertained them and they enjoyed it. I cannot express to you how absolutely blessed I felt to have you there. Blessed, to have friends whom I may not speak with everyday or see very often, but still love me for me and will always be there to support me and cheer me on. Know now, that before I could even stand up, tears were coming down my face. I want you all to know, that words in a journal that I can only hope you read cannot express how much I love you all, how blessed I feel to have surrounded myself with the best people in the world and how much I miss you so very much. Also
were so very awesome as always! And thank you a million times, Kwik, for letting me dance with you for your very awesome exhibition!
After the comp I took
to the lounge and we had a heart to heart as Clementine told us we had 5min to cry and get it out :P I wanted to express how much he meant to me, being around him all this time, getting to learn so much from watching him and how lucky I was to know him. And 5 minutes worth of other stuff ^^ which I want to extend to you all because I DANCE FOR YOU! I want to show you that I learn, develop, and succeed because you all are there with me.

Furry Connection North
This con was the BEST CON EVER! And I had awesome MFF dance stuck in my head all weekend, thinking of all the amazing people there and from all the cons before: "Best friends, you are my very best friends, seriously this is the best con ever" and like I said even if you weren't there it goes for you too!
I had the best of times with Atsu, JD Puppy
and everyone else in our room! The dance comp was awesome and so many of you were 1st place contenders. I was so honored to be part of such a talented group of dancers! A special thank you goes of course to JD Puppy, who I was more than happy to work and practice so hard with for yet another year of awesome partnered fun. Thank you so much letting me be your partner and being patient with me and of course being such a great all around friend.
On other notes I did what I'd never thought I'd do! Atsu was the first person to ever wear Sadie, and anyone who knows me knows this was a big scary step because of everything he means to me. But he did such a great job and I hope you all enjoyed seeing Lil Sadie ^^ Also
came on Saturday and broke my full-suit-ginity when he gave me the honor of going out in one of my most favorite suits ever, Winston CLICK FOR AWESOMENESS And I had such an amazing time in my first full suit!

SWING DANCING AT FURFRIGHT 2012!

Common! Don't you want to learn how to do that?! Then come to JD and Sadie's (don't forget to say it out loud) East Coast and Lindy Hop dance panels where we will teach you enough swing dancing to be able to dance with anyone on your own in just one hour!
So come one, COME ALL! We can teach anyone! And yes I mean ANYONE! I've taught your grandmother and she's busting everyone else's hips! So if you have the slightest inkling to come out, DO IT! We'll dance to all sorts of music and you won't want to stop!
So for fast footed skills and Grade A humor got to:
East Coast Swing Lesson - Saturday at 1pm, Middlesex Panel Room
This 6 count dance is the basis of all swing dancing and can be adapted for beginners and experts alike!
Lindy Hop & Charleston Lesson - Sunday at 3pm, Coach Panel Room
You must attend the East Coast lesson to take the Lindy lesson because we are going to turn up the heat and make it 8 counts of awesomeness! And if you're all good fluffies we'll be teaching you some of the solo wonder that is the Charleston!

AC Consentrated Fun!
Posted 13 years agoSo this is how its going to go! I'm not arriving till late Friday because of work. But I will be around for all the fun times afterwards! So many of you to hang out with especially as this is a consolidation of all my friends! I love you all so much so please try hard to get a hug from me at least because I may not see you about.
I will be wandering around with and 
a general amount of time including being in the room. I can't wait to hang with all the dance furs! I miss you guys! And if you wonder why though no one will read this far. I won't be dancing a whole lot because of a back injury I incurred last month. I'm alright, but I will be avoiding the pain as much as possible especially at the most intense walking con in the world :P
So let's live it up in Pittsburgh people! I will see you soon!!

Posted 14 years ago... Come on did you expect anything less? I mean this FurFright was by far the best weekend I've ever had! This is why I believe Furfright is the BEST CON IN THE WORLD! Sadie is just under a year old but this was always his favorite con and I've been waiting for him to come for 3 years! I want to thank everyone who made it his first and best so far ;)

BEST FURSUIT GAMES EVER! I love the Green Machine Team and I will always been loyal to them! We won the games and beat Nekomon and JD and Nbowa... poor Purple team, they are the comic relief :P Maybe next year guys! But I loved all the great people I played with and it remains the best part of FurFright!

Posted 14 years agoI think a week is long enough to focus the epicness of this con into a concise journal! In all reality I got con crud on Tuesday and have done nothing but suffer at work and sleep so thanks for waiting on my responses to all your lovely comments!
So I arrived and stayed with awesome new and old friends
the King of the roost, 
an awesome mate that made me smile all weekend, it was great hanging with your bouncy "naked" self! 
another great mate and another terrific dancer! And of course 
who is the best northeastern dingo in the world!
I didn't meet a whole lot of new people like I usually do but it was fantastic meeting all the pals I missed over the pass few months.
My NY bro! I'm SO happy we hung out so much! Never long enough mate :P I hope to hit you up north soon!
This amazing cat gave me all the tips and tricks she could fit into a fun and rightfully exhausting 3 hour training session in the headless lounge on hip-hop dancing!... at 2am :D I've told her a million times but her encouragement and help got my fuzzy butt to the dance competition!
Somehow I got in with all the other amazing dance crew and onto that very bright dance floor! Here's the link to my performance, it's not the best angle but I think it best captured the nuances I couldn't repeat if I tried :P

So I finally got to see all my west-of-PA friends and I couldn't be happier with the time I got to spend with all of you! And I finally got Sadie (my suit) and I'm so happy you all loved him cause he loves you too!

Congrats too to the fluffy bucket brigade and charity staff who raised a record $12,300 and put Belic in the pool for our amusement!
Thank you to all my peeps for making this one hell of a con regardless of the few things that didn't go quite right. You made it all sooooo EPIC! It was awesome seeing all off you again and getting to meet a whole string of new friends!

Pre-Holiday Furry Dinner/Bowling Meet!
Posted 16 years agoHello Everyone! This is an urgent post for all those near Eastern PA and New Jersey!
I, along with
kooky, want to host a Pre-Holiday Meet on Saturday, December 12th which will include Dinner and Fursuit Bowling! I know this may be short notice for some of you, but we thought it would be a great idea to get together before the Christmas/Hanukkah holiday. But we need to know a few things first in order to get the most people to come!

FurFright 09! The Aftermath...

I can't do them right now because I have an exam tomorrow, but this week should be slowly scattered with pictures!
Anyhoo, yes I am back at school, pretty lonely now, but I have so many pictures and vids to keep me happy for a while. FurFright 09 I love you! You have to be the best con ever!
Anyone and everyone who went needs to give a big shout to belicbear and kgraleopard as well as any volunteer you saw there, for putting together such a fantastic convention! *applauds*
Personal thanks everyone I met, it was the best weekend I've ever had!

Posted 16 years agoW00T! A day and 2 classes left and I'm off to Connect-a-cut for what I gather is the best con ever! I am so excited in general but also because my one roommate Frostbite is letting me wear his extra suit for the weekend!
So look out for a doberman (partial) named Cyclone, doing questionable/unlawful things with one "Kooky" fox and a crazy blue one! :D
I was going to do a meme for the first time, but decided the only useful thing in there was the touchy question.
Answer: No random/sneaky touching if I'm outside of suit and/or especially if I don't know you. ASK for hugs if you so wish, I'll probably say yes, on the other hand Cyclone loves hugs!
See you all there! Don't forget to text me your room numbers so I can come terrorize you some more! :P I tease.

YES! Sadie is finally going to AnthroCon just as he and his little bro Taiko have been dreaming of for... jeez! 7 years now! I'm getting old... Anyhoo I'm very excited to maybe meet all my favorite artists and my internet pals of course.
Ah yes, and I will have the most beautiful creature on my tail, CRICKET
