_PanofScience , makes some fantastic designs from bases as far as I can tell, whose cat got into some serious medical trouble a bit ago. They're doing fine now, thankfully, but the debt for the procedures is still yet to be fully paid off.

Commission Update

I did a lazy with the last time I posted up a journal, so now I'm just fixing that up >w>
So yes, commissions are indeed open! :D
Basically, I'm running it like the Big Mountain episode from Rocko's Modern Life! (props to all who get the reference <w<)
-I am drawing sketches for $5 a subject (character/object/general body of the composition)
-Additional subjects are another $5 each
-Background inclusion is $5 (which can include vague additional characters/crowded spaces/complicated sites and locales to which I'll try sketching to the best of my ability)
-And Sexy inclusions are $5 (I'll draw just about anything, so long as bodily wastes are not included >W<)
-If I screw up the commission in some way, I also usually offer a second sketch to make up for it absolutely free!
So essentially, you could get a nice sexy scene of a couple characters in a lovely locale for only $20!
I usually get work done, signed and delivered on my gallery and linked your way within a day or two of the commission, and each quality as above usually takes an hour or so to complete, with time added to clean up a bit and refine some more :P
If you're interested, hit me up in the comments, or notes so I can keep track better X)

I'd like to ask your recomendations on something

Neat that.
I run a tabletop rpg with my friends (and anyone interested *blatant advertisement intensifies OWO*) with a world that I've been working on for years. its own stories, lore, narrative, and peoples abounding on this high-fantasy sapphire in the cosmos. Adventures have been had, legends forged, its all been fun!
But for a while now, I've been feeling absolutely miserable about the game and world. The adventures had gotten convoluted against each other and relations with some folks ended in terrible toxicity. Others have been terribly frustrating to the point where I explod in rage on chats sometimes, and only recently had we actually gone and talked about our issues.
I didn't want to continue in a world choked to the point where I can't play it anymore, so I decided to purge it in a cataclysmic fire.
Of course, my players decided to save the world, sometimes complaining to me about how THEY were miserable about the affair (it didn't help that I timed it around Christmas) and I caved on some issues (again, because it was Christmas), but the apocalyptic instance for the planet happened regardless.
A spectacular battle of gods and destruction itself closed the Fifth Saga of my game's world.
...
Now comes the busy work of opening the stage on a rebirth! >w< Quite frankly I don't know what to do.
I tried redrawing the maps and pondering stuff, but it all felt too familiar and same-y, and I didn't want to risk a lapse back into bad habits for geographical investment. Characters and Npcs had all been saved moments before the big bang of doom, though I've been thinking of starting the game a bit into the future, like a century before any player characters return to the world or something (they basically got tele'd out into a cosmic sleep while the fireworks happened).
I've got a lot of ideas going through my head, but I want to know what you guys think!
How should I proceed? How do I make sure the fantastical place feels fresh enough to enjoy but not so alien that the players wont feel invested? How did FF14 do it!? XP lol!
but yeah, if you have any experience, stories to share, suggestions, ideas of your own, please do comment them! anything might help, especially since I was kind of planning to open the stage to the Sixth Saga after New Years (no rush though, its a loose planning atm)
How do I avoid convolution and how do I work out bad habits from players? I'd rather not dump them from the game since they are friends and all XP again, feel free to comment

Is it weird? a rambling of fursonas and gaining character
Posted 8 years agoI admitted a bit ago that I had a weird fear of adding too much character to my fursonas, that it might result in them becoming their own character and I won't be as connected to them anymore. Since they are their own character, they are not MY character, you know? The avatar is no longer a vessel for me now that its filled with its own narrative, their own aspirations and ideals.
I already register that as somewhat weird, the wife even called it silly. Fair enough >w<
So I wanted to ask if its weird if I want that now?
I talked with her a bit about it and I've come to realize that its not so bad that a character who is my fursona gains character, its just that I breath life into them and they become even more delightful characters! I want that now for one of my dearest creations.
I suppose I might not be asking so much if its weird...maybe? I don't know, I've had a pretty blurgh-ish day XP
perhaps I'm just seeking some response of whether or not it is strange to have even thought like that before?
