I am still alive and have been taking care of myself. I will be going to the hospital on July 8th to prepare to have my son, Imari Caine, I have developed high blood pressure, which turned into preeclampsia, so I am going to bring him into the world 3 weeks earlier than expected.
I am excited and his daddy is nervous as all hell.
I have some art to post that I managed to work on while on bed rest.
I just wanted to let you all to know that I am indeed doing okay!

So this pregnancy hasn't been horrible, but rough I was admitted to the hospital due to dehydration despite me drinking mass amounts of water.
I have been put on bed rest and making the ability to create art MUCH harder! So, I will be finishing up commissions and then taking a LONG haitus.
I love every single one of you and will miss you, but for now I need to focus on my health and the health of my baby. Which if people do not already know the gender
I will do a gender reveal for you all.
I love you, keep your head up, and keep being wonderful!

I am deeply sorry for my long haitus, but it was needed A.) Been Sick B.) Life Happens and I am going to be taking my art very slowly.
As a friend keeps telling me, they even sent me a tweet saying:

Dear artists: your worth as a person is not solely in your art. If you stop arting for a while, you are still a whole and good person.
So, I took a break for my sake and will be slowly working on remaining commissions and what art I want to work on. I always get so caught up in what other people want and trying new things, I keep forgetting to enjoy my own stuff. So, THANK YOU to the people who art still around and being supportive and thank you to the new Watchers I have received.

Sorry for the LONG time I was MIA, but still in the process of moving which seems to have cost me my job.
Which I am not sore about, that means I can focus on my art and all of YOU instead!
As I get my real life situated I am slowly finishing commissions, because I am now using a PC and a Laptop
With THAT being said, if you have NOT received you commission(s) from me PLEASE infom me!
I do not wish to wrong my beloved customers in any way and if you haven't I'll throw in a freebie for the hassle! Moving and losing my documents is a pain in the ass!

Mommy has an announcement to make!!
I applied for an apartment and plan on moving on Aug. 9th IF I get approved for it...
My credit is terrible due to my medical bills being sent to collection agencies because I am always broke.
I know the property manager so maybe that'll even my odds along with having a roommate too!
My boyfriend is moving down here to be with me on September 3!! <3

Sorry for Mommy's absence, but a VERY serious situation has arisen from the shadows.
My beloved lover, his name is Justin, is trapped in an abusive household and faces the threat of being thrown out onto the streets by his own family all because they are racist against me (he's black and I'm white).
I have been focusing on getting him prepared to go from Maryland to Oklahoma, where I live, and funds are a bitch...
I fear for his safety so the sooner he moves, the better...
I want to start a fundraiser, but my art skills are dead at the current time...

1.) Commissions are definitely in progress, just taking more time than I would enjoy due to me working CONSTANT split shifts.
2.) A new UPDATED version of Mommy (Sketch), that's me, has been uploaded! (Was a Work in Progress for MONTHS!)
3.) Commissions will be remaining closed until further notice, due to mass amount I have 16 TOTAL to complete!

Here is an update on what is going on with me!
I am currently seeking employment elsewhere, McDonald's is not working out.
I want to be a full-time Artist, but business is never enough to help me with bills,
mostly my fault due to lack of content people want.
I have many lovely commissions I am currently working on, but they will slow for a bit.
This is due to me seeking out new employment and lack of sleep... @A@;;
You are not forgotten, but I need to make sure I am alive to keep making arts for my loves!!

I am so happy that so many of you enjoyed my YCH's sales I have posted so far!
I am currently attempting to work on them in what little free time I have.
"But Sketch why so little free time?"
Well, me and my husband's girlfriend will be coming to our state and staying a week, going to the Renaissance Faire with us and our friends!
We are cleaning our home, doing laundry, and just preparing for her arrival and the trip!
So, Thursday I will start back up on the YCH's you lovelies purchased and try to get as many done as I can before I work the rest of the week.

Posted 8 years agoI wanted to thank everyone for all the support! I ended up getting my surgery early and am recovering nicely, my hand is a bit sore, but with the therapy I am able to move it more and more.

I have managed to raise $180 out of the minimum $200 I need to pay out of pocket!
I'd like to try and raise more, if possible, to help with bills while I recover so...

My doctor wants to get it done ASAP so May 10th I go in for surgery, my insurance covers the heavy costs, but

Many of you have been waiting for your commissions for a few months now.
I am JUST NOW starting to get my crap together and getting an actual schedule worked out!
This means I can focus on you beautiful fluffs whom have been patiently awaiting your art, yay!
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are my current days off, SO that being said here is the game plan
for me catching up for the people whom have been waiting for their art:
Tuesday: Sketch Commissions
Wednesday: Line and Flat Color
Thursday: Shading and Details
To the people whom ordered my "$20 Flat Color Images" I will start on those NEXT WEEK: 12/20-12/22 (unless my schedule changes due to Christmas).
