Apologies on Absence + Some Concerns... (Update)

I want to apologize for my complete absence the past couple of weeks- I have been very drained thanks to having 2 menstrual cycles almost back to back (I have endometriosis and PMDD, so that makes them extremely painful and emotionally distressing), and have been honestly spending a lot of time sleeping as I have felt exhausted constantly. I really hate it.
I'm pushing forward though- I am going to try and really buckle down and get to work on owed commissions. I apologize profusely to those who have reached out to me and have not heard back- I will be getting back to you all asap!
That being said, I've been under a due amount of stress because of the revelation that I may have Eye cancer.
It is not set in stone, so I'm trying not to panic too much and don't mean to alarm anyone else either. But I do want to state it here as a heads up so that if something does come out of this, it won't be too much of a surprise.
You technically can stop here if you'd like, as that is basically the tldr, as I tend to ramble and practically write essays because I have a hard time condensing my feelings, but here are the details if you're interested.
Details:
I know I have spoken to some of you about this before, but since 2020 there have been cysts on my eyes, which at first didn't seem to be symptomatic. They are centered exactly on each tear duct. Very odd to say the least- well in 2021, they started becoming more symptomatic- I was getting constant dry eye and the cysts would get red and angry and hurt like hell. On top of that, they had gotten bigger and I also had a couple new ones on one of my eyes next to the tear duct..
Well, they have only gotten bigger over the years, even with the prescription eye drops my doctor gave me that I've been on for a year that was supposed to help with the symptoms at the very least shrink them (they do help with the symptoms at least by creating new tears, but I still get flare ups), but they have only gotten larger and more concerning looking.
After some research recently regarding it, I stumbled across some scholarly articles talking about something called Ocular MALT Lymphoma, a Non-Hodgkins cancer of the eyes.
I want to reiterate that I am NOT the type of person to look something up on google and then freak out because one thing said I could have cancer based on one symptom.
In fact, I didn't even really think twice about possibly having it, but I find medical science interesting and have a bit of a hyperfixation for it and love learning new things, so I looked into it more as I hadn't heard of MALT Lymphoma.
Well, the research on it only got more and more eerily similar to the "cysts" I have on my eyes, even down to including that it can be triggered by autoimmune disorders like Hashimoto's, which I have.
So after that, I decided to look up images to see what they looked like- and lo and behold, they look EXACTLY like mine. I mentioned this briefly to the endocrinologist at an appointment yesterday and he agreed it seemed a bit suspicious.
With that, I have an eye doctor appointment on Thursday, and he will likely send me in to get the lesions biopsied.
Again, nothing is concrete yet!! I'm not flat out saying I have cancer, only that it is a possibility. I'm holding out hope that it's not that, but the odds aren't looking too great against me, I'll give you that.

Catching Up On Queue Backlog!!

Just wanted to give a quick update on comms and such.
The past couple weeks have been more hectic than I would have liked!!
For those waiting on Egg adopts- I should be able to get them all out by Saturday or Sunday! (Save for those that I have to rework the lineart of the base or have dynamic shading! Those might be a little later next week!)
I will be working on some new adopts as well in between that time!
I am working on YCHs that are overdue as well, I'd like to have them done by Sunday as well! (Or at the very least an almost finished WIP!)
If any of these times need to be extended for whatever reasons that crop up, I will notify each of you personally!

Posted 2 years agoI've made my stance clear before about how sick and horrible the war in Ukraine is.
The news about the huge hydroelectric dam that was purposefully broken by Russian forces is inexcusable- Ukrainians all over are having to evacuate from the extreme flooding, and this only happened hours ago- it's only going to get worse. Animals and people are in danger, and from the information I know, that water is used to cool a huge nuclear plant- so the possibility of a nuclear meltdown is also a risk.
This is an absolute CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY. Russia is not going to stop this. As if they already weren't committing thousands of war crimes, this is just despicable.
Please, I implore you to read this journal by B.Koal . They are Ukrainian themselves and have compiled facts, resources, and evidence of Russia's horrible crimes.
They also provide reliable sources to donate to, if you can afford to give ANYTHING, I implore you to do so! I know I will be.

Life Update! (4/15/23)

So, I just wanted to let everyone know that it will likely be over another month until I am going to the hospital. First off, still doing research into the best place I should be going, and second- I have quite a few medical things to attend to beforehand.
I am suffering in immense pain from my knees due to my knee problems, so in 3 weeks I will be getting knee injections again. (Fun......xnx)
Despite the initial horrid pain of the injections for the first couple days, after a couple weeks it REALLY helps with the pain for around 6 months or so.
My orthopedic doctor is also very worried that I may have rheumatoid arthritis....which I pray is not the case, but since I have Hashimoto's and Sjogren's already, it's certainly not off the table, and the way my knees get inflamed and the way I can't walk for several days after the knee injections isn't normal.
This is a fear that we've had for awhile- and I pray it isn't true, but yeah, I will be setting up an appointment with the rheumatologist as well and hope they can get me an appointment in a reasonable amount of time- but if they can't get me in til months out, then I will have to forgo it for the time being because I can't wait that long to go to the hospital. :"<
A lot of physical and mental health issues on the board as you can see, and of course, my mental health is suffering immensely still.....I want to get better.
Anyways, just thought I'd update you all to let you know that I will still be here for at least another month or so! Again, I will make a journal when the time comes to leave.

Yet Another Naming Poll! (ALSO LIFE UPDATES!)

I am yet again stuck between names for a character that was given to me! There's only 3 this time so maybe that will make it a bit easier!

Now, onto life updates/commissions/etc. (You can stop reading here if you're not interested- it's a bit lengthy!)
Sorry things are so slow going- I am working on comms and such I assure you! Things have been hectic mentally and physically- I've had this chronic fatigue lately that I'm not sure where it's coming from... pair that with my constant volatile mental state and it's very frustrating. So thank you all for being patient with me!
Also have been doing research into hospitals around the country that I could possibly go to. It's an annoying process for sure- my family wants to get me the best care out there, so they're willing to fly me anywhere. Unfortunately I HAVE to go to a hospital that accepts Medicaid, so that does limit my options a bit. (even though I have 2 other insurances that I can use, they still will deny me for some stupid reason.)
Along with that, I will have to wait at least 4 weeks before I could go anyways because I have to get knee injections for the terrible pain that I experience with them- the knee injections helped for a good 6 months last time, but that has long worn off. I don't want to be in the hospital with horrible knee pain after all!
Along with that, my Orthopedic doctor is very concerned about me possibly having Rheumatoid Arthritis, and referred me to a Rheumatologist, so I also have to get that appointment taken care of asap. (along with an endocrinologist appointment on the 26th,, geez) Rheumatoid if caught earlier can be treated and made less crippling in the future with medication. I pray I don't have it, but there is a fair chance that I do, because I have Hashimoto's Disease- which is an autoimmune disorder that can spread and create other autoimmune disorders, which includes rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, and many others.
And what makes that even more worrisome is the fact that my Hashimoto's already HAS spread and created one autoimmune disorder already- I have Sjogren's Syndrome as well that my eye doctor said is directly correlated with my Hashimoto's- it is also an autoimmune disorder where cells attack the tear ducts and the things that produce moisture for the eyes. I have cysts on my tear ducts and have to use prescription drops daily (along with regular lubricating ones).
ANYWAYS that was a bit of a rant, but I hope it shows where I'm coming from.....things are just so bleak at the moment. With all of these appointments, it may be another month or even 2 before I can go to the hospital, which I desperately need.
Let's hope the Rheumatologist appointment isn't too far out, I think that will be a big factor.

I love you all, and I also apologize to all my friends here that I haven't been communicating with as much....I've withdrawn and feel so worn down and ragged that I've kind of isolated myself....which I really hate. I miss talking to those that I was in closer contact with. Please know that it has nothing to do with y'all and that I still love you very much and are on my mind. <3
Please feel free to message me if you want to talk- I may or may not take a slow time to respond, but I will do my best to get back as quickly as possible! Gotta kinda just push myself past the anxiety the best I can!

This character is both a devil and angel hybrid! So just keep that in mind in case you get stuck as well between the names and it helps you decide.
It's between 5 names this time, so it's a bit trickier for me!

Life Update- **IMPORTANT- Hospitalization coming soon.

I was going to title this along the lines of going on a hiatus, but I guess I haven't been as active lately anyway have I? ^^"
I deeply apologize for that.
Anyways, I'll get down to the meat of things- I finally will be going inpatient very soon. I'm not positive when, it could be between the next couple weeks to possibly a month out. But either way, I will make another journal informing when I will be leaving! Things have gotten bad enough that I just can't ignore getting intensive treatment anymore....otherwise, I may end up in a much worse situation than being in a hospital. Every day feels like agony, and it's hard for me to take it anymore.
It's a bit scary, because I may have to go far across the country to get the best professional help I need.....I deeply fear being so far away from family and friends. But if this is what it takes to get better, I might just have to swallow that pill.
I should note, that it won't exactly be a short visit most likely. It will for sure at least be over a month, but I would not be surprised if it turns out to be 2-3 months as well. I hope not past 2 months, but I have no idea what is going to happen.
As for now, I will go back to making adopts and working on commissions while things get figured out! In terms of insurance, deciding on the right hospital, etc. Lord knows I'll be needing some extra money for however much this hospital bill is going to cost.
