On the 25th through the 31st of October, I will update this journal with LIGHTS ON.
This shows that my "porch light" is on and I am accepting Trick or Treaters.
You guys can then comment "Trick or Treat!" and post a ref of what you’d like drawn!
I will be offering up a mixed bag of art as treats for who comments. This means you may get anything between a headshot sketch to colored full bodies.
There will be a limit as to how many trick or treaters I will take. Everyone runs out of candy eventually!
Once my limit is hit, I will change my journal to LIGHTS OFF and slots will be closed.
I cannot guarantee that I will do art for everyone who comments,, but will try to get to finish as many as possible. Please do not be upset if you aren’t chosen, I am doing this for fun! If you want guaranteed art from me, feel free to commission me instead !!

Posted 4 years agoHello, all. I've been meaning to update everyone with what has been going on with me lately but haven't really been okay with saying anything until now.
2020 was a really doozy for everyone, but a few things have happened to me that, again, I haven't been comfortable talking about until now. My heath has been bad for years, since I haven't had the insurance to take care of myself and I finally was able to at the beginning of 2020. I have been since diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Arthritis, and Chronic Migraines. I also had an accident and fell from a cliff with a 6-7ft drop and pretty much landed on my head, causing a concussion and I also fractured my toe and middle of my foot. I have healed from these, but it made my Migraines worse and more frequent and I have Arthritis where those fractures happened, making it painful to walk around for more than an hour or two at a time. I also contracted Covid around the same time, and thankfully didn't suffer too bad other than the sweats and a horrid cough.
During this time, my husband and I were supposed to process moving out of the US(he is in the US Army), but they kept changing dates and pushing us back and losing our paperwork. It was incredibly stressful and I was having constant meltdowns, making it hard for me to draw or do much of anything. Fast forward to January 2021, we were given a date saying we are ready to go, and therefore broke our Apartments lease - thinking we were going to move. They ended up pushing our date back another month and so for the whole month a January we were homeless and couch surfing at friends places. Again, stressed beyond belief and not really able to function.
February come and we FINALLY move. We are stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany and I am excited to explore Germany and Europe, but also worried we won't be able to see much because of the Virus and this is pretty much the only chance we are going to be in Europe so it's kinda a bummer. But besides that, my depression has taken a turn for the worse and I unfortunately have gotten so bad that I made a suicide attempt. Police were involved, and I have started some treatment. I have been diagnosed with Severe Depression, Anxiety and Borderline Personality Disorder, as well as a new diagnosis of PSTD and mild Insomnia.
Because of all these things I am trying my best to focus more on myself, especially with art. I hardly ever draw things for myself and I NEED to start doing that more often. That being said, I am still open for commissions and trades, but will be advertising them less// only when I have the time and energy to get them done quickly. I also want to completely clear my owed art queue, so IF I OWE YOU ART PLEASE PLEASEEEEEE DM ME, so I can get it completed as fast as possible. The move made me lose track of a lot of my info and so I'm planning on using Trello from now on to be more organized, and I take full responsibility for being unprofessional.

I’m also currently moving ! I recently got married and my husband and I got an apartment together - and it’s finally time to move in!! I’m super excited for this move, the new apt is super nice!
Today I packed the rest of my things up - including my computer and art supplies. So until I am moved and unpacked all my art will be on hold. Commissions and trades will resume as soon as everything is set up ! Thank you everyone being patient with me during this time. Art will resume July 6th at the absolute latest.

Been wanting to do some art trades. Im specifically looking for couple art of my partner and I, so two-character pieces.
I am ok with drawing two character pieces in return.
I'm ok with doing art trades with anyone, but non-mutuals must have a sketch or some progress to show me before I start my half.
I return same quality. EX: If you draw a colored sketch, you will get a colored sketch from me.
BONUS:: If you want to do music themed//draw to this song -type trades let me know!! Im ok with p much anything, just no FOB please

I haven't been vocal about it online anywhere until now, but my Nena (grandma, my mom's mom) passed away on Nov 28th. This has been very hard for me, since she (and my aunt, who had passed four years ago) was a very special person to me, and to be honest the only really close family member I had left. This woman, along with my aunt, raised me. She was like a mother. I don't want to get into too much more detail, but because of this my art upload has been slow. I am trying my best to get things done that I owe people, but my depression is getting the best of me right now. I hope you all understand, and again I am doing my best to get all owed art done.
I am going to be leaving out of state on Dec 18th and won't be back home until Jan 4th? I am visiting my boyfriend's family for the holiday. I am not sure how much art I will be doing while I am gone. I won't have access to my computer so any art I do do will be traditional. I will be semi-active while I am away, but again uploading art might be slow/non-existent. If anyone really needs to get a hold of me, send me a note or otherwise my twitter and other things are listed on my front page and feel free to dm me there.

1. Must provide a visual ref. Nsfw refs are fine, just warn me when posting. You may post up to three characters, however I will only be drawing one (if you are picked)
2. Don't be salty if I do not pick you, I'm going to try and do as many as I can but I know I will not be able to do all of them
3. Must comment with 'trick or treat'
4. In order to make sure you have read the rules, also comment with your favorite candy (doesnt have to be halloween exclusive)
5. You can leave a suggestion with what you would like - though I may not use it ( theme, costume, etc)

Art or Treat 2018!
Posted 7 years agoOn the 21st through the 31st of October, post a journal/tweet/etc that's called LIGHTS ON
This shows that your "porch light" is on and you're accepting Trick or Treaters.
People can come to your journal/tweet/etc and comment "Trick or Treat!" or whatever other code word you'd like to use.
At which point, the creator of the journal can offer up small sketches or the like as treats for who comments.
And, as to not overwhelm people, you can set a limit as to how many trick or treaters you'll take.
Everyone runs out of candy eventually! Once you hit your limit you can change your journal to Lights off or closed, etc.
I feel this could be a chance for some people to get some art and have fun while doing it as well~
Also, please don't be greedy! Be courteous to your other Trick or Treaters!
Please share this around on Tele, Twitter, FA, Weasyl, wherever, so more people can participate!
