Considering reopening small, limited commissions

I have not taken commissions on FurAffinity in a long time but I am opening limited commissions for a while on a very first-come first-serve basis. The rate would be my same $1.50/100 words, and I would also give an estimated finish time of around 1-week finish per 1000 words (so anything above would be another week per 1000 words, i.e. 5k words would be an ETA of 5 weeks.) This is because I have a very busy work schedule IRL right now!
There is only 1 slot for now, but as I finish it, I would think about opening more.

Mini-Advent Calendar! 25 1k ($15) slots!
Posted 5 years agoHello! I've decided since I didn't host a kinktober event this year, I'll do 1k slots for the 25 days leading up to Christmas, like an Advent Calendar! This will have a few rules/guidelines:
1. Each slot is a maximum of 1k ($15), like a short and sweet treat for the holidays.
2. Please only include 1-2 kinks in your request.
3. Since the amount is so small, all payments are due upfront for this, and payment should b e made within 24 hours of reserving any slots.
4. If you want your advent calendar piece on the day, please make sure that you have payment ready asap, and the prompt for your advent calendar slot prepared at least 12 hours ahead of that day! I will be trying very hard to make sure everyone gets theirs on time, but there may be up to a 3 day delay if something happens IRL to keep me from doing it on time!
5. There are 25 slots. Please reserve up to SEVEN (7) slots maximum per person (this may increase if multiple slots are still open after 3 days). These slots CANNOT be combined to make longer stories, each story prompt must be different. These aren't for longer stories, it's intentionally one-shots! If you want a longer story, please wait until after December, or consider paying for a bribe slot.

Christmas Advent Calendar Slots Open! [11 slots]

These can be between 1-2k ($15-30) in length.
You are allowed 1 kink to focus the story on, so, the "advent" for that day. You may pick any kink.
These slots will begin on the 15th of December and lead up until Christmas, but please allow a few days leeway for writing in the event of emergencies.
Max 2 slots per person. If all slots are not claimed by the 10th of December, then this limit will be lifted.

Official Pricing Adjustments and Commission Information 2019
Posted 6 years agoHey! As many of you know, I've recently made adjustments to the base cost of my commissions, and now that I'm no longer in the 'limbo' of those price adjustments, I've composted an easy list of these price changes and overall commission prices.
When Commissions Slots are Open:
Base Commission Price: $1.50 per every 100 words
(i.e. 2000 words is $30, 5000 words is $75, 10000 words is $150.)
When Commissions Slots are Closed:
Bribe Slot Prices: Base cost + 33% of Base Cost
(i.e. 2000 words is $39.90, 5000 words is $99.75, 10000 words is $199.5)
Both Open and Closed Slots:
Optional price to "speed up" commission to roughly 1/2 the wait time: Total Cost + 33%
(i.e. a base commission for 2000 words would be $39 for half the wait time. a bribe slot commission for 2000 words would be $53.07 for half of the wait time.)
As always, you can commission a story even when I don't have posted slots by just paying the bribe slot prices. The speed up option has always been there, but with just less advertising and less established pricing.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this, or feedback. Both bribe slot and speed up choices are optional and you don't have to pay for either unless you want stories when my slots are closed (usually when I have bribes keeping me busy), so please don't feel like these prices are mandatory or for anyone who doesn't actually want to pay them.

I've been thinking about doing a similar one for December, with a 1k Advent Calendar of topics.
Also, I recently moved to another country, which means I'll have to convert my money from now on. This means that my fees for stories may be going up very soon-- not by much but I'm thinking that I'm going to start charging a flat $1.50/100 words.

Posted 6 years agoI've gotten a few notes over the last few weeks and I'd like to clarify things if anyone else has any questions! If you see your question here, please don't consider this as a callout, I've gotten these questions several times in the past and want to make this quick Q&A for easy reference!!
1. Is there a word min / max on bribe slots?
Traditionally most stories I write are between 2k and 15k words. Stories shorter than 2k don't really give me room to stretch my legs well description wise, while stories longer than 15k tend to take a while to write without much of a basis given for the premise of it.
2. Do the commissions have to be based on OCs?
No, I will write fanfiction catered to your desire for characters / scenario as long as those characters are aged up / adults if they're underaged in their series. I will not write underaged characters without making them adults.
3. Do you know when you're going to post commission slots?
Not traditionally, no. I usually post slots when I have a lapse in bribe commissions. If you want a commission, please consider paying the bribe price because I have no guarantee when I'll be free to post slots and it's at a completely random interval. A bribe commission, despite the slightly higher price, guarantees you will get a story within 3-4 weeks unless I give you a different timeline.
4. Have you considered making a Patreon?
I have considered setting one up regularly in the past for guaranteed monthly slots or early access to stories, but I've decided that that is committing to something I'm not sure I can carry through on a super regular basis, so I'm hesitant to do so. I've got a lot going on IRL right now, so I don't want to not be able to give Patrons the max amount of worth their support deserves. However, if you wish to support my writing then I also accept tips through FurAffinity's Shinies system. <3
5. Will you ever offer commission slots for more than 5k?
Probably not! Commission slots are usually set minimum 3k/maximum 5k because I take several of them on at a time. While I do do bribe slots for up to 15k, it's because I can adequately promise my client a set delivery time by setting time aside for that bribe slot. If I increased word count on regular commissions, I would not be able to promise the same delivery times that I can currently at the 3k-5k range.
6. Can you give me a heads up / accept extra commission slots? I never make it in time.
Sorry, I can't! I try to give everyone a fair chance of seeing open commission slots, so I post them at completely random times so people have the chance of getting in a slot. If I told anyone when I planned on posting commission slots, it would give an unfair and favoritism advantage to people who want stories, so I'm not comfortable accepting more than the ones I've posted, or giving anyone a step ahead. If you want a story, bribe slots are always open and are only a third more of the cost of a regular commission.
7. Why do you require half payment so soon after someone gets a slot / half payment up front?
Unfortunately, when I was starting out writing commission, I had several people who would wait several days after giving me their story to pay me; twice, they waited until after I started to tell me they didn't have any money, but I could 'give them what I'd already written.' Because of this, I require a deposit up front on all commissions which is not refundable because of the effort and time it takes me to write. I also require this within 48 hours, because I try to start my commissions within two weeks and don't enjoy waiting for several days to get started on what is essentially my livelihood.

THERE ARE ONLY 3 SLOTS AVAILABLE PER BATCH, but more batches will be available as I have time to write/finish up other batches.
Please comment on this journal or send me a note to claim a slot. Keep in mind commenting does not secure your slot; if I have a note with an earlier timestamp than your comment, they secure the slot.
You CAN pay more for a higher word count, but the absolute minimum would be $1 per extra 100 words. The hard cap on this is up to 5000 words, or $50. If you want longer than 5k words, you will have to pay my bribe slot price, which is $1.33 per every hundred words.
Kink wise, please try to keep it to a maximum of 2-3 kinks if you are keeping the slot to 3k words. Otherwise your story will be kind of squished into your word count limit, and it doesn't allow for a good exploration of each kink. Posted 6 years agoAlright, so all moving stuff aside, I finally got back into my Ao3 Account! (I couldn't get in for a minute, aha.)
So! A few updates.
1. I haven't posted commission slots in a while because a private commissioner has been paying for bribe slots for a couple of months, so it's kept me pretty busy alongside moving! I'm working on a bribe commission right now but I might be posting slots afterwards!
2. I got back into my Ao3 and posted my last round of commissions from FurAffinity on there now, and I'll be posting those stories here in the next few days, along with some private commissions too!
3. I have enabled Shinies Tipping on my feed here now! Tipping is never mandatory, but always appreciated if you enjoy my work!
4. I've updated my 'Commissions Information.' As you see, I no longer take art commissions, but I do take writing commissions. My slots are currently closed (;) For now!) But Bribe slots are always open. That pricing has been updated to a standard $1/100 words. Bribe slots are now officially labelled as being +1/3rd of the base cost of the commission you are getting. While I've been using Twine for a while, I've never considered selling 'text games' until a friend mentioned it. This price is not fixed (so if I offer these in the future, they may be more expensive since this is just a test.)
The base price I am charging is $50 for this demo-commission.
There is a 4 week ETA on Twine Story commissions.
You will get:
-a text based adventure with at least 5 branching paths / endings that may suit kinks of your choice, with characters of your choice (as long as they aren't privately owned OCs of other people.)
-at least a 3k wordcount of the game overall
-the ability to choose kink-based endings whether they are 'good' or 'bad' or the ability to choose your 5 endings based on different characters
-whether or not you want it to be second person (i.e. 'you step into a room') or third person (i.e. 'he steps into a room')
-A guaranteed 10 different choices to make over the course of the story (keep in mind these may be across different 'paths' and not necessarily 10 choices in a row before you meet an ending.

Losing my uncle has put a lot of stress on me and I've been in a poor kind of mental state for a while since then, but I'm working on it, I promise.

We need the money from wherever we can get to pay for his final expenses, so I don't have the option of NOT working on commissions since I don't know any other way we have of taking care of his expenses.

It's been a really busy new year for me, and currently, I'm trying to save up enough money so that I can move out of a really poor living situation right now into something a little better and more stable. I'll be opening special batches of commission slots to try and put back enough money for this move, and they'll be coming in waves. They're a little more expensive than my normal commissions, but they can be on any subject that aren't on my "no" list, be about your character, and involve any kinks as long as your wants fit within the word count.

I'm badly trying to save up about $1000 so my mother and I can move from a house that's literally falling in/apart, and with relatives that make her pay for everything (which is the reason she hasn't been able to put back money for us to move out, too). We both keep getting sick because of our living conditions, and I'm not sure what will happen if we don't actually get out of here soon.

Posted 8 years agoI'll only leave this journal up for the duration of the holidays until Christmas, probably, but I wanted to say something.
I started my new deviantart/launched my furaffinity account a few precious weeks ago because I was between a rock and a hard place. In my financial situation, there are no local jobs that I can apply for due to lack of transportation, and my financial difficulties. I opened my furaffinity account in hopes of taking a few commissions so I would be able to buy my family things for Christmas this year.
The interest in both my art, but particularly my writing, has been overwhelmingly positive. I went from being able to buy my mom and my fiance something to also being able to shop for the uncle I live with, my future mother and law, and my future brother in law as well. I was able to give my mom the Christmas she deserved after a rough year. They were small, minute gifts but I was able to buy small things for my close friends online. I was able to actually do something for Christmas when I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything. This wouldn't have been possible without the support and commissions bought from the people on this website.
I am deeply grateful to you all. I intentionally only planned on this being a temporary thing, but it seems there's a genuine interest in my writing and ideas here. I am considering opening a patreon if there would be enough interest, and posting original stories and plots and perhaps staying around long term to take commissions and post auctions. I couldn't have done it without you all. Thank you so much.

Sariia is the name I'll be using primarily on furaffinity since I've been considering adopting another regular username for my commissions and art. I do writing and art for fun and as a hobby, but due to my financial situation, commissions are top priority and are currently my only income. I credit all artists if I use bases for my adoptables. While I try to mostly keep my deviantart gallery here sfw-ish, I'll post most commissions that I take to my gallery here, though you'll find most of my more nsfw pieces over on my furaffinity. I'm more than open to NSFW commissions though, please don't let that deter you!Heart

Payment is up front on all art commissions. I do not start on your commission until I am paid.
Half-payment is up front for all writing commissions. The second half is due upon completion of the written work, so I can accurately calculate how much payment is due to word count.

Digital & Traditional Sketch busts: $5
Paintschainer Digitally Painted: $7
Traditional Pencil Sketches 3/4ths(with or without shading): $6-10
Traditionally Inked Lineart: $6
Digital body sketches: $9
Digital Lineart with Flat Color or Painting: $8-$17
Extra characters in any situations is a flat $3+
WRITING COMMISSION PRICES
My price per commission is usually $1 per every 100 words for every piece.
I write based from series, OCs, original ideas, self inserts (your self insert, not my own), and varied requests.
I will not charge you extra if I write over the word limit you set for me. However, if you'd like to tip if I do this, I will not complain!
I have a degree in English, and examples of my short fanfiction requests/writing can be found on my AO3.
LIMITATIONS
I am open to writing and drawing most situations for commissions, though primarily most of my nsfw art will go on furaffinity instead, and most of my nsfw writing will go to tumblr or Ao3 instead. I like to keep my deviantart mostly sfw and accessible. However, please do not mistake my willingness to draw your kink/fetish as a personal interest in it. ;; I prefer to keep any art that I draw for you on a strictly professional level. While I am happy to cater to your requests for the content I create, written or art please do not come at me, personally, with sexual advances. I'm just the artist. Heart However, I will not judge you for your kinks or requests, so please do not hesitate to ask if I can create content for something not listed here!
