omg i totally haven't touched this account in over a year! sometimes i forget it exists.

When they say babies keep you busy, they weren't shitting. Plus i have a full time job, so that's pretty busy. Tend to work 12 hr days now, cause i want my over time :O

Maybe when i get back into school, i'll probably return to do art. Right now, I'm supporting my other half and my son. My other half can't get work til we find a state that doesn't count your background against you after four years, which isn't found yet. XP So he's just existing til we get life sorted so he can start college or we find a place to work that won't care about his background. So far, nope. The state we live in goes back seven years.

So....day after Christmas I had a baby. >.> Baby became really sick beginning of January. Doctor says to stay up 24/7 with baby til he's back to his birth weight. It'll be a month or so before I'm back or able to post art. Kinda was unexpected. Went to dr apt, got told go to hospital, next day at hospital was told they would start the process to take the baby, two days later...I has a baby....life is full of unexpected things XD

i'll bbl and post art when I get my munchkin settled into life.

So I've started on the drawings. I don't have free time this week, so i'll post it up next week or so. it really depends on my schedule. I've been scheduled every day this week for work. i'll know my new schedule for next week on friday

Also! jacksonashworth is offering free art too. he's damn good. I drool at his skills. he's been drawing since the late 90s. he needs subjects to draw. I've been throwing random people at him on fb. send me a message and i'll send it to him. I manage his fa page, cause he is so new and gets confused XD he's also taking commissions.

Ashworth (what I've called him for 14 years) does traditional art. next time, I'm in his area (which is often cause I grew up there) then i'll show him digital. He's never done digital before.

Look. I'm drawing on tues and weds, cause that's my next days off. well, I have sunday...but my Mexican wishes to claim that day cause I work on my birthday. If you want something, ask. I'm going to mix traditional and digital. I'm going to sketch it traditionally then put it in the computer to do it digitally. just works better with my prego pains.

My art won't look good. why? cause its been like over six months since I drew a damn thing. XD God I'm so dedicated, aren't I?

Take advantage of the next month and half. After that, I gotta take care of a baby :P well earlier if he comes earlier.

So I'm listening to Pandora while I play my jelly's game (while I'm waiting for a meeting with my current job). I hear naked by Marques Houston then Would you mind by Janet Jackson. I want to make art based off those. I will probably do others if I feel inspired by them too. who knows, I'm half awake...might happen. XP

I want like one or two things to draw. They probably won't be great, but I've been wanting to draw something for the past few days. with being prego and having Braxton hicks lately, I can't commit to much in my life. (Yeah I should exercise more to reduce Braxton hicks.)

Fear is a horrible thing that we have to face. In art, we see fear constantly. Maybe we're not good enough or our art isn't worth it. Fear isn't worth your time in art. Trying and the desire to become the artist you want though is.

My art is shit to me. I know it. I'm also use to traditional art. The transition from traditional art to digital art is not very easy for me. The irony is i've done clothes for second life, but that doesn't always require artistic skill...unless you want to do well with your business.

SL is what prompted me to take art classes. My understanding of art was low an d i had not tried it in years. Im still sorta shit, but hell I'll still do it.

Watching my friend Dark get upset over his attempts at drawing an eye just sorta moved me. Not emotionally....but it encouraged me, i guess. I've sat here for weeks afraid to do anything digitally cause i am afraid of the transition. I can't move forward or be better in art if i don't practice or push forward through the barriers that hold me back.

When I sat here trying to figure out what i wanted to draw, I saw hte cup then remembered talking to my teacher. I told him I had been drawing cups repeatedly because I hated them. I hated how they effected my art and I hated how I couldn't draw them....so i decided to face them by drawing them til I got them right. Btw...never have gotten cups right. So...I started to draw a cup
