Well, fuck. As some of you may already know, a bit over a week ago I had an accident in Switzerland and someone called an ambulance for me without my consent. The one who will end up paying the price for it is me obviously. I hate how stupid I was for letting the person do it given that now a week later I’m fully recovered, but I can see why someone who saw me bleeding crawling in the ground may call emergency services.

So, now I owe this Swiss hospital a wooping $1130 USD for the ambulance ride, that’s as much money as I do in a month without eating or paying for a single basic amenity. Nope, insurance says they don’t cover it and so far it seems like this ain’t getting any better.

So… What do I do now? Well, I was thinking of doing a drive or something like that, which I haven’t done before because I’ve been lucky enough to avoid surprise bills this big until now. Guess there’s always a first time for everything.

So, I’m gonna call insurance one more time and if they give me the middle finger, I’m gonna have to proceed with the drive. If you guys can help me with this I’m gonna be eternally thankful.

Why the lack of activity? This bicycle trip I'm doing has been eating all my spare time specially now that the sun rises at 7 and sets at 5 (that's 2+ hours less of daylight compared to where I live. The cold and lack of preparation has pretty much ruined my experience. Not to mention camping without the proper equipment (which I forgot to buy in time) has been painful.
Worst part is
1) I am 22 days away from my return flight
2) Said return flight is in Switzerland.

As many of you know, I come from Panama Central America, near the equator. So I'm experiencing some rear, REAL cold now. The views have been amazing, the people exceptionally kind and everything else has been great. The only problem is I'm freezing and it's genuinely painful even in the day.

I'm super anxious to a degree that's alien to me. I've only felt safe so far away from the cities, everything is new and complicated to me. I cant leave my bike unattended without panicking that someone will steal it or the many bags attached to it.

Yes, I know I should be getting warmer clothes and camping gear. Don't worry this is not a post begging for money. I just want to apologize to all who been waiting for commissions, Patreon rewards or art in general.

Well, I’ve been forgetting to mention this here, but this very Wednesday I’m leaving my country to go on a vacation to Europe where I’ll be visiting friends and family. I’ll be out for one month but I’ll still be working, just not as many hours as usual.

This was kind of a last minute trip so I didnt went to Costa Rica in the end. Given all the visa issues I’ve had in order to enter or even do layovers in other countries (I’m looking at you, USA) I am worried that something will go wrong because my passport isn't particularly strong, but we will see how that goes.

You guys know how hard I’ve been working on this single project, so I’m happy to announce that after weeks of work, the Sassy Pokeballs animation is now finished! It’s over a minute long, 24 frames per second and features my braixen Sassy fighting with his stomach after having swallowed a pokeball with something particularly big inside

Remember the Canada thing? I got my tourist visa rejected after all I paid to get it. Big disappointment no doubt. Guess they suspected I was planning to migrate illegally because I am Latino.
It feels nice to believe we are all equal in the year of 2024, but then things like this happen and I come down crashing and burning back to reality.

Anyway, I was anticipating I would get rejected anyway, so I made a plan B which is to go to Costa Rica. Tomorrow I’m leaving my home and will pedal by bike all the way up there, equipped with clothes, food and very few things besides that. Naturally, this will mean that I’ll be drawing way less than usual, but I’m bringing a tablet with me to continue working on comms and everything else.

This August I'm going to Canada. I'll be over there for about 3 months and I'm gonna spend all that time travelling by bicycle, alone.
This is something I've mentioned before in my Discord server, but I was yet to make it public.

Naturally, this is gonna take a big impact to my workflow because as my full time job I draw 3+ hours a day every single day. So chances are I won't be able to take as many commissions, post as much art or communicate as well with clients as I do now. (I'm going places with no internet or data)
Still, I'm bringing a tablet with me and I'm intend on drawing at the very least one hour a day, hopefully more sure. I'm just getting used to my new drawing software and workflow so if you notice a slight change of style in the drawings of the upcoming months its because of that.

This is gonna be my first time working while travelling, or even going outside of my home country of Panama altogether. Thank you to you all who follow me, support me on Patreon or have commissioned me at some point. If it wasn't for your help simply put this adventure would have never happened.

Probably some of you already know Alexis01, I've known him for about two years now. He's hosting a vore drive right now since he needs the money to make his car functional again. We had a long voice chat talking about it, basically, his car won't even start so he's right now in a rough spot since he's a mechanic and heavily relies on it to go to the client's houses.
