"They shimmered in the night sky, I lifted my hands up to try and reach them, only to see
you plucked a star from the sky and handed it to me. The twinkling matched the being of you
perfectly. You whispered the truth that you were handing your love over to me and to be
careful not to snuff it out as your star has fallen before and no one was there to catch it
like they should have."


I wrote this quite some time ago, I was inspired to write this as that's how much this person made me feel at the time. We have since parted ways because of unfortunate circumstances. Hopefully he is in a better mind set now because he deserves happiness.
I'm with a new mate now and have found happiness myself.
