Youtube's Scary Narrators.
Posted 10 years agoI am forever on you tube listening to scary stories while I draw. Here is a few I would recommend for your spooky needs.
Lazy Masquerade: I mostly like his true life scary stories he found off " lets not meet" and reddit site and some submitted stories from viewers... Here is a sample of one of them:
Other narrators who does this sort of stories and some creepy pastas;
* Top 15 * Wormy Horror * Be Buster * Urmaker * Midnight bard * Rob Dyke * Corpse Husband * danger Dolan * Major Mexico * Killer orange cat * Unit522 * Mr. Nightmare.
Now if you want stuff that is done in a fiction sort of way here My top Narrators I would highly recommend.:
**Chilling tales for dark night:** is a conglomerate of different narrators to do some retelling of some well known creepy pasta stories or stories written by regular people like you and I.
Here a few more who you might enjoy: * Natenator77 ( I love his way how he draws you into the story.*
MRCreepypasta * CreepyMCPasta * Creepypastajr
NOW this guy does do scary stories but he makes the gruesome story light by adding his own ad libs with his 2 wacky wit to theses stories. His voice drips with honey it so soothing <3

Vampires
Posted 10 years agoSo today I am writing about vampires the myth and modern way of living.
For century we known of these beings who dwell in the absent of the sun. Many of us feel vampires are only a myth when in fact there is many who feel they are truly these creatures of myth. This link is an article of vampires who dwell in Texas and how they classify them selves:
http://www.houstonpress.com/arts/re.....energy-7372560
Honestly when I was young I thought there was just the one kind of being that were just a blood sucker, However this isn't the case. There are several different kinds of classes of vampire. From the traditional blood drinkers to the succubus/incubus type of vampires and drains one of their sexual energy. There are the psychic vamps who draw from your energy from the magnetic fields that we all produce, this is quite fascinating. In the article I have included there are many who could possibly be a vampire without knowing.
I could go on and on about this but lets move on to movie pick I feel reflect on vampire.
Now many times in the movie they make being a vampire very romantic idea ,a tragic way of live of being mortal we feel sympathy and feel for them. Now I won't add twilight franchise to this list... cause really ... sparkly bing vampire is not really scary or sexy.
Here is my top movie pick for great vampire stories with a pulsing heart:
1. Swedish"Let the right one in(2008)" and American "Let me in(2008)"( both versions) Now originally this story was done in Sweden the American version i felt was equally good. It had the soft spot for " boo hoo your a vampire but".It also show the dark side of a desire that is forbidden to the heart.
2. Byzantium . I just watch this the other day I do like the concept on how they became a vampire and who they went on about on how they chose to live their life. Vampires with their humanity intact.
3. The Hunger (1983), This one makes you kinda want to cry for the situation the characters are in. Plus David Bowie in this one <3
4. Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) This one was really well done retelling the tale of Bram stokers story of a man who denounced god and the perils of his story in a grisly supernatural sense.
My top comedy pick for goofy vampire tales.
1. Buffy the vampire slayer . I love the movie and the series. however the way Paul Ruben Bit the dust was my favorite death scene in this classic movie.
2. Monster squad. OK so the count is not the main focus but this is a great movie to watch with a group of friends on some night for some campy good fun.
3. Hotel Transylvania I love the comedy how they make theses scary monsters likable and could see myself wishing for them as next door neighbors.
4. Dracula , Dead and loving it, this is a great comedy and enjoy the antics of Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielsen. I am a huge fan of Mel Brooks movies <3
Now for the meat and potatoes of how I see vampire.
Best vampire concept:
1. 30 days of night... OMG best scary vampire concept. being up in Alaska where the night are so very long and to fight against something that is ancient. way scarier then zombies in this aspect.
2. Blade franchise The 1st one was the best with corporate vampires. It makes sense when you are old and you must be organized. The action is awesome along with the story line.
3. Fright night part one .Both old and remake was awesome! Must watch the original because the vampire in that movie makes a cameo in the remake. I did like the sequel but the 1st ones are the best in both old and new.
4.Lost boys. I love all of them but the 1st one with Kiefer Sutherland and the frog brothers <3
ANIME!
Vampire D is one of my favs when it comes to vampire anime. the art and the story line hooks you in. the 2nd one was pretty decent with story line but was done slightly better with the art work.
Van Helsing unlimited. great story with 2 side of being a vampire and all that you must deal with. Alucard is what you expect to have as a vampire who would work with you. he there only because of a pact and not because he wants to be their.
Blood, and blood + I love the movie along with the series blood + I also loved the live action however I was not feeling blood c. The story of blood the movie will want you wanting more. Blood + gives you more incite to Syra to why she must fight.
here a few more I recommend for their great stories:
1.Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase
2.Trinity blood ( a vampire with christian morals <3
3. Dance in the Vampire Bund
4. Black Blood Brothers ( this one has a sad story line )
5. karin ( just a funny vamp story)
6. Rosario Vampire ( fun monster highish sort of stuff)
7. Vampire Knight
Movies I would not recommend:
I like Twilight but as a vampire story is really is silly.
1 Interview with the vampire... I read the book and I thought the actors they picked was WAY OFF!
2 Queen of the damned... was a compile of many books smooshed into one movie... just no...
3 Bloodrayne I played the game and when I watch the movie was was not happy with the movie plot ...just sucked ( no pun intended)
So there my little bit of vampire stuff I found for all my club members to read up on. If you have more to add please comment.
I leave you with this link I found for all those who loves the vampire subject.

Wes Craven, part 3
Posted 10 years ago Now this is another articale that repeat some of the fact but it also have a few more thing you did not know About Wes Craven. Like His films being Banned in the UK...
From the website www.independent.co.uk:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/p.....-10480319.html
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Lovers of scary movies are mourning the death of horror auteur Wes Craven, who terrified two generations of teenagers with his slasher franchises A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream. The writer-director, who was 76, died on Sunday at his home in Los Angeles. His family said the cause was brain cancer.
Craven’s name became synonymous with the genre he first invigorated in his 1972 debut, The Last House on the Left, which ends with two parents taking revenge on the Manson-like psychopaths who rape, torture and murder their daughter. The film was a micro-budget flick with an art-house sensibility; Craven cited Ingmar Bergman’s The Virgin Spring as a key influence.
It was banned in the UK but inspired a string of low-budget horror classics such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Halloween, and later enthused a younger generation of horror film-makers, leading to the so-called “torture porn” of the 2000s and films such as Hostel and Saw. “Wes Craven reinvented horror at least four times,” critic Kim Newman tweeted. “Most directors don’t even manage it once.”
Craven began his career as a humanities professor at a university in upstate New York, but quit aged 28 and briefly worked in the porn film industry before turning to horror. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1939 and brought up in a strict Baptist household, he claimed to have got the idea for his breakthrough film from living next to a cemetery on a real-life Elm Street.
In 1984, he created Freddy Krueger, the razorblade-fingered monster who haunted the dreams of teenagers in the classic A Nightmare on Elm Street. Krueger remains a Hallowe’en fancy dress staple more than 30 years later, despite the four poor sequels that followed, none of which was directed by Craven.
The director gave several major actors their first leading roles, including Sharon Stone, Bruce Willis and Johnny Depp, star of the first Elm Street. In 1996, he revolutionised the horror genre again in the teen horror pastiche Scream, which grossed more than $100m at the US box office. Wes Craven created ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ in 1984 Wes Craven created ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ in 1984
Scream parodied and undermined the horror movie conventions that Craven had helped to create, only to see them become clichés: the haplessness of adults, the dangers of promiscuity, the unreliability of mobile-phone coverage. Its heroine was Sidney Prescott, played by Neve Campbell, who survived despite losing her virginity – often a death sentence in a teen slasher movie – and went on to endure several sequels.

Nightmare on Elm Street horror director dies aged 76
5 scenes that show Craven will always be the Master of Horror
During his five-decade film career, Hollywood rarely permitted Craven to stray from the confines of the horror genre. In 1999, however, he directed Meryl Streep in Music of the Heart, a drama based on a true story about an inspirational Harlem music teacher, for which Streep earned an Oscar nomination. He also wrote and directed a segment of the 2006 rom-com anthology Paris Je T’aime.
“It was a great pleasure to make [Music of the Heart], and to see Meryl nominated,” Craven later said. “But most of the people I run into who loved it are surprised that I made it. When you have a name that means scares, you have to live with that.”
Craven published a suspense novel, The Fountain Society, in 1999. An avid birdwatcher, he also wrote a monthly column for Martha’s Vineyard Magazine, entitled “Wes Craven’s The Birds”. “People would be introduced to Wes, and they expected to meet this crazoid biker type guy with tattoos and a leather jacket,” Robert Englund, the actor who played Freddy Krueger, told the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. “Instead, they met this sweet, unassuming guy who would talk about philosophy and literature.”
Over the past decade, Craven’s earliest work has returned to fashion, with Hollywood remaking both The Last House on the Left and his 1977 film The Hills Have Eyes, about a family stranded in the desert and attacked by a gang of mutant cannibals.
Recent B-movies such as You’re Next (2011) and The Purge (2013) bear the Craven hallmarks, but the director leaves behind a genre with little of the vigour he instilled, made up largely of pale imitations and low-budget sequels with limited imagination, such as the Paranormal Activity franchise.
Craven’s final film as director was 2011’s Scream 4, but he was also an executive producer for a new television adaptation of the Scream series for MTV. He is survived by his wife, producer Iya Labunka; his sister Carol; his children from his first marriage, Jonathan and Jessica; a stepdaughter, Nina; and three grandchildren.
Stay creepy my friends.
Wes Craven, part 2
Posted 10 years agoI have been a fan of Wes Craven ever since I was allowed to watch the adult horror movies. Freddy Kruger is my 1 one fav for the 80's genre of creepy slasher films. What I loved about it was a demon that attacks you while you sleeping, and killing some one is endless to how well the imagination can be. Here are a few things I found for all my gory watchers to enjoy or even a few suggestions for movie night watch:

I also found a documentry ( for those who like that stuff like me) to share with many well known director/ writers and Wes Craven is in the mix:

Posted 10 years agoSo I been doing and audiobook called do androids dream of electric sheep published in 1968. The silver screen version ( and altered from the original) Blade-runner. it got me thinking on how we do rely on Technology so much. Like I know that there is tons of people who could not live with out their I phones, internet and some mechanical components like a car.
Now there a few movies out there that based on robots like the Terminator, The Lawnmower Man, Maximum overdrive or truck, West-world/Future world (Both movies was excellent)
So this month discussion is are we relying to much on machine and will we as human one day become obsolete?
Here a few clip of AI movies get this month discussion.
OO and a movie!
