These animals belong to the two of us, but when I moved in, we decided not to separate the kittens from their friends and I took only the unsocial cat with me. All this is hanging over me like a dead weight and I haven't been able to get out of the mountain of debts for months. I have no idea on what autopilot I survive, managing not to completely cover myself with moss, struggling with terrible thoughts about the futility of my existence and trying to work. Yesterday my cat had to be euthanized. He went to the rainbow calmly and I'm glad that at least I was able to put him out of his misery.
These two weeks, the Anesthesiologist and I have been trying to save his life. But due to the mistake of one particular veterinarian who did not send us a blood test in time, we missed the time and the damage done to his body was irreversible.
Vasya was an amazing cat. He will always be in our hearts.
I need a little pause to get over the grief. It's very hard.

My heart rejoices when I see how happy and active she becomes when she can breathe normally!

Coping with mental illness has become much more difficult due to the horrific events in the world. But by some miracle I am still holding on, although I no longer have the financial ability to provide myself with medicines.

News about my accounts, payment methods and my personal situation as a citizen of Russia. This will be a very big post, but the most important thing in it is concentrated in 1-3.
1) The most important news. The main priority for me at the moment is to finish the old orders. I have a little support in the form of the salary of my sister

4) About my life in Russia at the moment.
All goods in Russia are becoming more expensive. We can no longer buy the same food as before because it is simply not imported to Russia. We don't know yet what will happen with food for animals next, but we hope that supplies will resume. There are also problems with the delivery of good feed from a Russian manufacturer because production does not cover demand. Buying normal food for animals becomes almost a race to get ahead.
Other products are also becoming more expensive, as are medicines. I really hope that my medicines will not double in price and will continue to be on sale. Due to public panic and supply problems, some medicines are already difficult to access. I'm lucky so far and it hasn't affected my medications.
nically, getting a job with a stable income will make earnings even more unstable. Because the prices of goods are rising and salaries in rubles remain the same. By receiving dollars for commissions, I will at least be able to receive a salary indexed to changes in product prices. Now I am more glad than ever that I dropped out of university at one time and became a freelance artist instead of a laboratory specialty. My parents were against my path, but who knew that now, with all the restrictions, my work would provide me with more stability than in poorly funded research institutions.
4) About my mental and physical health.
Alas, I've lived poorly all my life from paycheck to paycheck, so I'm used to saving. The news about how Putin started the war (or as he calls it a "special operation") stunned my sister and me very much. (They is from Ukraine and they has a brother there.) I'm worried about it. And I'm also sad for the fate of Sakhalin Island, where I come from. It is very dependent on sea and air supplies. Russian civil aviation is dying. And the country, instead of developing the region, simply pumped oil and gas from the island. There were very high prices for food before and now everything will become more complicated. But we try not to engage in doom-scrolling and act in accordance with the circumstances. This helps to keep mental health in a delicate balance. And although each of us seems to have caught another round of depression, we are slowly working and putting things in order. Doing something now is very difficult. We are working slower than before and it has become more difficult to deal with the old commissions. But we do not give up.
Recently, I have been dealing with the problems of my physical health. Fate does not spare my ass and after solving gynecological problems with intramuscular injections, I was recently prescribed new injections due to my headache. Recently, my head ached so much that no medicine helped to relieve it. I was crying in pain and if my sister hadn't called an ambulance, I don't know how I would have coped with this day. As a result, the therapist prescribed me quite painful injections of nootropics. Unfortunately, the injections didn't help much. Now I'm waiting for a call from my hospital that the neurologist has free recording time for me. I have no idea when this will happen. This can happen both next week and in a couple of months. But this is necessary so that I can find out what medical examinations I need to undergo. Most likely I will have to do an MRI. It's paid, but I need a referral from a doctor to know what type of examination is worth going through. When I find out, I will open slots on commissions to pay for the MRI.
Because of my poor health, I have to spend a lot of money on a taxi, because I don't have the strength and motivation to walk to polyclinics on foot. This is very sad despite the fact that I need to save every coin.
Still, it would be strange if in such a terrible moral and economic political situation, my depression would not have worsened.But due to the fact that I need to try to keep myself in hand, it seems that this is now more manifested through physical symptoms than emotional ones.
5) About my ADHD and why having ADHD while living in Russia sucks.
Recently, I finally became convinced that I have ADHD. I am a diligent manager for my sister, but not for myself. Executive dysfunction be damned!
Having ADHD in Russia absolutely sucks. Until this year, adult ADHD was not recognized as an official diagnosis. This year, adult ADHD was supposed to be added to the ICD, but the country will be in crisis and I'm not sure that something in Russian medicine will change in the near future. Stimulant medications that help with this neurodifference best of all are banned in Russia under the guise of combating drug addiction. And those drugs that affect the norepinephrine receptors do not always work well and cost half of the money I spend on rent. (Rent is a little more than half of my budget for a month, so it's almost an unaffordable amount). Besides, there are other difficulties. Most psychiators do not recognize this diagnosis and do not know how to work with it. Those psychiators who work with adult ADHD are in the minority. Their list is passed to each other like a gold bar. To get to such a doctor, you need to pay because private medicine is not covered by medical insurance. But in addition to drug therapy, behavioral therapy is also needed. And there is no free psychotherapy in Russia. Psychotherapy is so expensive that due to the unstable financial situation, my sister with a more stable income refuses it at the moment!!!
In general, everything is sad, inaccessible and expensive. On my own, without professional therapy, I have to try to adjust my habits and features that prevent me from working normally and contacting other people.

-I worked in a small advertising company as an illustrator and came to the conclusion that in Russia, working in advertising agencies to promote on social networks is slavery.
-I started freelancing.
-I started taking anti-depressants a week ago and it worked really well for me.
-I plucked up the courage to ask my father (we have a complicated relationship) to help me pay for psychotherapy. He agreed.

He comes to us on his own to get a little affection and attention. He climbs into our laps, purrs, and rubs his cheek against our palms.

They prescribed a therapeutic diet and a lot of medications. Eye drops, dry cough medicine, glucose injections, probiotics, polysorb.
About $50 was spent on veterinary medicine and medicines.
