Okay, so unlike some people I won't write a book about AC cause heck, I just don't feel like it. This is about all I can muster ATM.

Overall, the con was very good. I felt that I got a lot more time in suit though it still seems like I'm not in anyone's pictures or got facetime on the news like some people *cough cough*  tiltlongtail. I felt like I spent less time alone this year and was hanging out more with friends which was also nice and I did try a new place to eat this year, Church Brew Works. Was pretty good though they did overcook the beef in the cheese steak. I also made some better friends and let some people bounce around in my bunny and be all cute. I actually really liked watching how others acted in the suit and just seeing the be cute bunny and getting to hug it myself. Really was happy to see how bouncy  timduru was being the bun. Also really nice talking with  zen_fetcher a bit more this year!

There were a few negatives for me. On Friday, when performing in the just for fun fursuit games I twisted my ankle as I was chasing around another suiter. I have sprained that ankle in the past so it's rather weak and it just basically gets really sore and puffs up good. Was able to still walk, but that really limited my usual bounciness. I barely got through the parade on Saturday and was in a good amount of pain after but toughed it out. Luckily, it feels better now and swelling has gone down again. One other thing I was really upset at was the con shirts. Supposedly, I heard some sold out on Thursday. Sponsers and Supersponsors were guarenteed a shirt and will get them shipped but people who just wanted to buy one were out of luck. I wear my con shirts everywhere, assuming they aren't overly gaudy and such (this years design was rather cute). How the heck does a con run out of shirts on the first day? Seems like really poor planning or something.

As always,  white-paw was always by my side keeping me company in any off times of the con. Swimming was fun and my roommates were awesome and made the con great as well. The Sunday videos were also really fun (morning and evening)! I did learn a new card game which I absolutely loved (and did great at) which was Cards Against Humanity. Oh, and I also did happen to win an item at the charity auction as well. Yes, I was the one who won that huge fursuiter badge for the ungodly amount of money. Sorry Growly! Looks for pics posting up soon. Also shout outs to all the other awesome people I got to see at the con, much too numerous to mention!

Got a call from my doctors office today saying that a sleep test I took last week came back and it showed I had moderate sleep apnea. It was just an O2 test where I wore the sensor on my finger but it was the quicker and cheaper test option to start with. I got a snoreguard thing that he said can possibly help the apnea without the need of a CPAP device. Trying this route first an then will retest again. Guess if I flunk twice its off to the sleep center for an overnight and most likely CPAP. I'll stick it out I guess, if it helps me feel any better I will do it.

Fuck it, I am tired of this area I can't take it anymore. I am putting my resume up tomorrow and will look for work somewhere else. Not yet sure where that should be and I doubt I will get any hits but at least it will be a start of trying to move somewhere where we can be a little happier. I have been in Maryland for a good 13 years now and I have more than got my fill of it. Sadly the places I want to go to are rather remote and probably have crap work so not sure it will be there or some compromise of a location but it is a start. I know I will have to sacrifice some for it, but I am really tired of being miserable and I am gonna make a change before I break. Not sure what the future holds or what luck I will have but at least I am starting to look to try and get things better.

Just wanted to say thanks to those who wrote in my last journal and who wished me a Happy Birthday and such. Yes, I was a bit down before my birthday but will say that I did have a very nice Birthday and I am in much better spirits this week! *hugs everyone tightly* It was just a nice weekend and I feel a bit rejuvenated and all and just have more energy it seems. Think most of that is due to being good and following up with my doctor and working on certain things like getting my cholesterol down and all. Hopefully with feeling a bit better as of late, I will feel better in general and feel like being good and trying to lose a little weight as well. Thanks everyone for helping put me in a better mood. :)

Man, it's been a month since my last journal. Nothing much new here, just pretty much been the same old same old crap. Been doing some needed doctor stuff as of late to try and get myself feeling a bit better and all. Looking forward to AC but a little worried that with my current weight, I may not be able to fit into Scooter. I haven't even worn him for many months (maybe New years was the last time) and I worry about busting a seam. Sadly, I just haven't been in the mood to suit lately but I am looking forward to AC and will do so there assuming I can fit. Just been in a rut specifically with my mood. Hopefully it can improve some this weekend as I have a friend coming down for the three day weekend, just not sure what to do. Nothing planned really. Birthday is Monday but I really don't care, meaningless day, just hope we can find something fun to do. Anyways, hope to see a bunch of folks at AC, I am rather excited and looking forward to fun times there!

2-4 inches of snow overnight and 5-8 in the past 24 hours. I can't wait to get out on the slopes! Trip has been awesome so far, we went to west Yellowstone yesterday (road into park was still closed). We did go to a bar and wolf park though which was cool. Also went to Bozeman hot springs and swam too. Been seeing tons of elk, buffaloes and a fox, beavers, bald eagle and a cute ground squirrel. Nature abounds here and I love it! I doubt I will be looking forward to coming back to MD this weekend.

I'm leaving Saturday morning and no, it's not for Furthemore, it's for Montana! Going for a week to visit somewhere I always wanted to see, and ski! While it's the last week for skiing there, the mountain is still 100% open and they have chances for snow everyday on the 7 day forecast. Will be nice being out there with just taking in the scenery and getting a little exercise. My parents gave me a week of timeshare so we are held up in the lakeside condominiums which have 2 jacuzzi's and a heated outdoor pool. May also venture into Bozeman to take a dip in the hot springs as well. Not sure we will be able to make it over to Yellowstone as I don't think they have the roads cleared on the west entrance yet. Just hoping to get maybe 3-4 days of skiing in out there if possible and also just get a feel for the area as I think I would love to live out there. Just would come down to what I would do for a job. Gonna be scoping that out too while over there.

Think it will just be nice to have an actual vacation for once. Won't be bringing my work laptop or checking work emails (well maybe once). Man, I really wish it was Friday now, only 1 more day of work. I am sure I will be active on Twitter and showing some pics out there so follow me on there if you want to see! As the title says, not going to be able to make it this year. Basically it's due to having switch companies due to the re-compete being awarded to another company. Luckily I will still have a job, just all vacation that was built up is gone. Hopefully AC plans can still hold which I think they should. Would be really upset if I couldn't make that. Guess we will just have to see.

Well, a few days ago, gave me the news that his transfer to BWI went through and that at the end of the month he will be up in Maryland with me. While Maryland isn't the place we want to be by far, it is a great start at us being together finally and I am beyond excited and ready for this! He will move into my small loft apartment, I am just hoping there is enough living space for us with everything. Despite any drawbacks on space and all, we will make things work! Also, it looks as if his schedule up here will be a bit better. No going to bed at 7:30 or getting up at 3AM, his shift is afternoon. Sadly, he works weekends, but I would easily take the better hours over that any day. We will actually get to have a bit of a life together after work and such. I am sure it will be fun bringing all his stuff up here, will have to get another storage unit and then work on condensing I think.

We both still really despise the area and would like to move to a more liberal area with better weather and less congestion. Will maybe be looking somewhere in PA perhaps soon. oh well, that's for down the line, now I am happily preparing for him to be up here! Hopefully we can find the ability to both be happy here for the meantime (despite his despise for this state) and further our relation!

Yeah, just waiting for to get here and we leave for New years Furry Ball today! Yeah, we are meeting a friend there and just chilling an extra day beforehand. Maybe get to take advantage of the indoor pool and such. Who are we going to see there and I wonder if a certain mysterious otter will be there? XD

As the title says, I have to head back to Maryland this evening. Not something I want to do by any means but it is time. Need the little extra time to unpack and do a crapload of laundry. It's been a quick but fun two weeks off and I really wish it could continue. Even though I haven't been chipper the entire time, I had a really good time. Guess my depression at times just takes over and prevents me from having a good time. I get thinking too far about the future and not thinking of the moment and having fun in the present. Have to stop this I guess. Well, not going to let is last day be a bummer. We are gong to see Red Dawn today and have a nice day out. Will probably head back is evening so there's less traffic and I can feel more comfortable traveling up padded. :P Hope everyone had a good turkey day!

Simply put, MFF was a very awesome con for me. Even though things were a little up and down at times with my dad getting in a car accident during the con and all, I managed to have a very good time. He is alright too which helps! Too many people to mention on by one but those who made the con special for me know who they are! Just too lazy to spot out every single detail which no one probably wants to read anyways. Back at  white-paw's place now and going to be spending turkey day down here. Man, I'm really not looking forward to going back next week. :(

And I'm not one of them, yet. How can this be? I'm still shocked and amazed about this as we had seemed to lose power at the drop of a hat. Here's hoping that it will stay on. Hope everyone else is having some good fortune in this pretty epic storm.

Also amazed that I don't have a hangover right now either. :P

My friend is selling an adorable Great Dane suit and I am just trying to help her get the word out more. She's listed it a few times with no bids and I can't understand why. Her suits are amazing, I owned one (now given to my mate) and can say the craftsmanship is rock solid and they are adorable and usually very soft! Go give it a look!

To have the best time at the con with  white-paw that I can possibly ever have! Top just have an awesome time and debut my new plush bunny suit. Have two weeks of vacation blocked out around the time too so part of this is to just relax and enjoy a bunch! Also like making new friends!

That with such a small percentage of squirrels in the fandom that one of them has to have a character that's about 90-95 % similar and to get their fursuit from the very same maker as mine. I mean I only know of a handful of squirrels with suits currently, it shouldn't be hard to have a somewhat unique character. *sigh*

Oh, that's right. I think a little thing called EF is going on perhaps and maybe another con too. Just posted 6 or so of my sketches on here and normally I'd get at least several faves or comments usually and tonight so far I have 2 faves. Yeah, slow night I guess. To everyone at a con, I hope they have a blast. As for me, I will be with the one I love this long weekend so I will be happy.

Well, what can I say other than it has been a really awesome week. Why? Well, since I had , , and visiting with me for a few days! We visited DC where we got to have lunch with and then the next day Andy and Sean helped me get turned into a duct tape dummy at and 's place. There as plenty of suiting at my apartment and I will have some pics to post whe i get back next week. I'm starting phase two of my vacation as I visit my parents in Connecticut. Hope the great times continue and that Sean and Andy have a good continuation of their trip. Definitely hope to do more of this in the future!

If I am quiet for a few days it's because I am currently without internets. Verizon is scheduled to be out tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I should have it back shortly. I still have access through my idevices but usually won't check as much.

Just meandering about the apartment starting to get dinner ready when I hear "Oh shit" yelled from outside followed a few seconds later by a pronounced thud! From another person soon gathered outside, it sounded as if one of the workers putting up roofing fell off a ladder about 20 feet up. OUCH! Ambulance and fire rescue just finally got here and the guy seems awake and all. Hopefully it will be an okay ending for him though he must have busted something. Just seems like the ambulance and fire took awhile getting here then once here, everyone is just taking their time very slowly walking around the place and up to the guy. Makes me think that I never want to have an emergency here!
