Just letting people know that I will be starting to post more again now that I have power and things in my apartment are back to normal. I will try not to dump too much at any one time. Just nice to be back to normal sort of. :)

Got my power back last night around 7 or so. Apartment still is cooling down even this morning (down to 80 ATM). Damn AC has been running non stop but the heat pump doesn't really do much better than 80 in 95 degree weather or whatever it is outside. Still feels better having airflow in this place! So anyways, gonna be busy cleaning up a bit and throwing away food and all so may take me a few days to get back into the swing of things. I do have a lot of pics and art to post and even a video for youtube of something with pie! Hope others who are still without power get theirs back soon, I know how much it sucks when you are without. Also hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July! While I won't be having anything fun to do today, I am just happy to have power again so all's good! ^^

Well this sucks. Power is still put and I can't even get a idea of when it will be back. Food in freezer is defrosting but still has a little frozen to it. Hope I can salvage that. Guess I will try to find ice somewhere and snag dinner out tonight. *sigh* I was really hoping it would be fixed by when I got home.

I don't like doing long journals really so this is the short-short version! It was a great con and a welcomed time away from work and just a way to destress for me. Drive to and from went well, no flat tires this year and my hunny to keep me good company! I will say that I really enjoyed getting there Tuesday, I didn't realize there were so many people around there Wednesday night, kinda pissed I have been missing that in the past. I did enjoy going golfing earlier with and on Thursday just for something different to do while there. Roomed with and which was really cool. As usual it was always good hanging out with people and saying hi to folks I usually only get to see online and all. Always good meeting a few new folks this year too, I am always approachable, just come up and say hi!

Overall a good con, just seemed to actually be periods where there wasn't much happening at times. Tonic was fun Saturday evening (glad they left the tables there that night) and we did the hotsauce challenge (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8250657/). That Da-Bomb is some hot shit, we had one of the mundanes there in tears and I thought we were going to need a medic! Wish I was in suit there but for me, without a moving jaw and all and sporting a HUGE tail, its near impossible. Couldn't have asked for better weather the whole time and Monday evening was nice with getting a great sushi dinner after swimming and being in the sauna. After dinner that night, I have a real sore throat and just now kinda working through the end of the con crud!

Arrived yesterday at 3pm or so. In room 1105. It's really nice getting here a bit earlier this year. May have to do this more often!

Will be quieter on here for a week or so since I will be heading out to AC in a few hours. So excited this year, the weather looks like it will be really awesome and I know it will be good times. Hope to see a lot of folks I know there! Feel free to come up and say hello! ^^

Yeah, I decided to install a neat free app that I am really liking. It's called Waze and its pretty neat. Used it going down to my wuffies over Memorial Day weekend and it saved me a few times. Traveling down Route 17, I had 4 indications for police and wouldn't you know it, each time there was a cop there. Guy three cars in front of me got pulled over but I didn't. It's a good app for commuting and I find it more accurate for judging arrival times since it updates along the way. If any of you want a fun neat app that's pretty useful if you commute, check out Waze!

Lately I been a rather pissed and miserable piece of shit to be around. My depression I see tests our relation which I feel awful about yet I can't and don't want to fake being happy when I am miserable. There's nothing in particular setting this off, just the usual stuff that I think about that gets me down. I think I find comfort in being miserable sometimes. I know that may sound like a weird thing but I don't know just how I feel sometimes since that part seems to take up a large part of my life. For my hunny reading this, I am nothing but happy when I am with you, but that's just it, we are not together and while talking is nice, its not the same thing. I just don't want you to think I am unhappy with you in any way since I'm not. For anyone else who I ignored or haven't been to chatty with, I'm sorry.

Just wanted to get the rant journal bumped off my page. Since I don't want to replace one rant with another, I will just shut up now and go back to my crappy weekend.

Unlike some furs, I am still rather close to my folks. We talk several times per week and I get along well with them and all even though my mom knows I'm a fur, my dad doesn't. Well, this is not about that but just a little rant. Basically tonight I was bitching about work and stuff (its been a bit of a hell week) and I get the spiel about hey, its all about money and all. Bust your ass and make a lot blah blah blah. I am sorry, I have been doing that for ten years and while I am doing good, I'm no millionaire and not happy. I am stuck in shithole Maryland, the one place as a kid I said I would never want to live. About the only thing that brings me happiness is my mate and being a fur. Sadly, with how much I get to see or do those things (or both murrr), its like a 90 to 10 ratio of suck to good. I just hate thinking that this is all in life, day in day out drudgery until you die. In a few months I will be going to my grandfathers 90th birthday party. He still gets up at 4, works a full day on the farm, then goes to bed at like 8 or so. My father is about just as bad. So far, I am walking in those same shoes. *sighs*

Okay, FA has been horribly slow for the past.... what....maybe couple of months? Maybe its just decrease in users or something, but within the past minute, pageloads have gotten much faster! I really hope it stays this way!

Why haven't I gotten all packed up and ready to go? I am instead on FA and clearing through submissions and thanking people for faves and such. *kicks his own butt, bad squirrel, bad squirrel* Ok, now getting off the computer and packing up a bit before bed.

As isit here in my footies in bed waiting for  white-paw to come home from work I think of how lucky I am to have him! I am once again happy this Holiday and hope others can also find happiness in these times. Urgh, I don't know which is better, feeling absolutely nothing in the midst of depression or feeling happy, yet feeling like you could just start break out crying at the same time? Not sure what brings this on and trying to explain it is tough. I am happy, yet something with childrens cartoon specials seems to trigger something. I dunno, perhaps my cub side just trying to get out.

Wow, just inadvertently hit the logout button for FA on my phone and instead of being instantly logged out it popped up a message asking if I really wanted to log out first. Thanks for improving this feature, they could have moved the button perhaps, but this also works! Yay!!
