I have a question, may be simple to answer. I just gave Cadbury and Scooter a nice bath (they do like their baths)! I wanted Scooter all nice and clean and smelling good for MFF! Well, as normal I soaked them in the tub with some Woolite, Spun them in the machine to get water out and hung them to air dry nice before brushing them out (with a stiffer brush). They come out nice and soft and all, but Scooter also comes out with tons of static electricity!

What should I do to get rid of some of the static? I mean I wave my hand over the fur and it stands up! I think over time this goes away but is there something you guys do to help control this on your suits? Any info is definitely appreciated! Thankies! ^^

Just registered for MFF so looks like I'm going this year. Now to check on flights and find out how I can get Scooter there! Big tails are not really meant for flying.

Well, I have a friend who has room space and I may actually have the time to go so, while not written in stone yet, it looks like I may be going to MFF this year. Would definitely fly and probably get there on Thursday. May stay till mid week and just see some of Chicago or something, I ever been there before. From there I will probably go to my folks place in CT for Thanksgiving. Whats there to do in Chicago, what should I see if I have the chance? Who's all going to MFF? I look forward to seeing new faces there in addition to familiar ones, if I go. :)

Yep, gonna be heading to Terrapin Adventures today with my wolf to take to the trees and do some high ropes, climbing and ziplining today. Should be fun, just hope I am not sucking too much wind after it all. So yeah, for today I am a flying squirrel. XD

- No. Doubt I would except if there was a group function or it was a nut supermarket, Kinda hard to carry around money for groceries as well.

- Of course

- Yeah, I do sometimes just put it on and lounge around the house.

- No.

- Not yet. Sadly didn't have my suit the last time I visited England.

- Yes, a bunch of times.

- While it is hard and requires a straw for me, yes!

- With my teeth, I really cant without making a mess. Supposed I could eat nuts perhaps. XD

- I have been able to try on a few peoples heads only well after I got a fursuit. Honestly though, I never suited with someone elses suit. Guess I just never knew any people good enough that would ever let me. :(

- Yes, though not fully. Couldn't really get fully in the car with my head on. The huge freakin' tail doesn't help either.

- At one given time id say 5+ hours.

Most memorable moment in fursuit?
- One time at bowling I had a little child come up to me and hug my leg. They didn't even make it much past my knee in height. It was adorable and made me feel great! That's the joys of suiting!

Just getting the huge AC recap of my front page. Hope everyone out there is doing good. Been busy here, but overall doing good. :)

Okay, I promised one so I am making my attempt at it. Sorry in advance if I get to mention anyone, honestly, I can't remember some of the stuff I did earlier today.

Now, even as I write this I am having trouble trying to think of what happened on what day. I hate this, I mean, did I knaw on lead paint chips as a kid or something? urgh, this is annoying.

Just to note below, most of the time I was with my love  white-paw. I just figured I would write it here then needing to call his name out everywhere below.

Thursday -- Spent the day traveling to Pitt, worked to get checked in, got registered, had dinner at the new diner, hung out at Tonic a bit and suited maybe 1/2 an hour or so. We were rooming with  delphai and  athenisis and it was really nice to get to see them again. Thanks for my little pirate squirrel! Think we stopped by the dance that night but I was in bed early (maybe midnight) as I was just dead tired.

Friday -- I can't remember exactly everything that happened but I think we suited a bunch that day. We had breakfast at the new diner which seemed ok. We had dinner at a fish place down the road that serves some HUGE fish sandwiches! It was  tilt_longtail,  yippee,  skippyfoxcub, and one other person who I cant recall along with me and my mate. It was a very delicious dinner and everyone had the fish sandwich except me who had some seafood pasta which was out of this world. We walked away with extras and braved the walk back through rain and all to the hotel. Tonic was a wash and think we didn't end up being too active that night due to the food coma setting in. We did stay up later though and walked around and chatted with folks.

Saturday -- My hunny got us up pretty early though we still sorta missed the greymuzzle/milfurs breakfast so decided to go to the diner for breakfast. It was good. I finally got to go through the dealers den out of suit and see some things. I was good and don't think I bought anything. Perhaps that was when I got my wuffie a foxes are Guilty shirt and put in for  floppybelly's pipey raffle. Oh, and I got my love a Certified Otter badge from  Marymouse. We both suited for the parade and that was fun as always made better this year though with the setup. We managed front row for pictures and were only a couple of suiters behind  yappyfox in the parade. That was really pretty cool and I will give props to the people who decided to do the picture first, it seemed soo much more orderly! I think we walked around after that and then helped  Rukario71 with a panel, though that may have been Friday, I can't remember grr. That was pretty cool, and it felt good giving him a hand. While I don't love speaking in front of a group, I felt rather good about it and wasn't as shy. Later that night I got to stop by and hang out a little with  kuddlepup which was cool as I never really got to meet him more than a couple minutes when he wasn't busy running around the convention. later that evening we were pretty hot and dead from suiting but decided to quickly stop by the dance as we wanted to see what  coyote_snack was spinning up. It was good, a lot of untz-untz-untz and after a little bopping about we retired to the room.

Sunday -- We started off with Breakfast at DeLucas! After a nice walk, we waited in line on the sidewalk for maybe 15-20 minutes and then finally got seated. It was  tilt_longtail,  dingoroo,  wildwolf, me and my hunny and breakfast was the bomb!  dingoroo drew me an adorable sketch while waiting for food, I need to upload (thanks Dingo!!!). I had a greek eggs benedict which had spinach and stuff with some real good bread made by a business down the street. They have every right to have a line going down the sidewalk, breakfast was really awesome. The rest of the day was spent walking around the con and occasionally suiting. Took another trip through the dealers den and found  kipper and got a badge commision which I picked up later and must say is awesome! Also snagged a "certified otter" badge though I said to Mary she needed a "Certified Nut" badge with a squirrel on it. I really hope she decides to do one of those! I was frustrated about one thing that day which was the fursuit games. Got their on time to find out tht the games were filled as you had to be there earlier. I really wanted to participate in them and must say I had a bit of an attitude for a while after that. We visited with folks and hung out in the headless lounge a bit when not suiting.

Monday -- Awake to see no fuzzies outside around downstairs, no Anthrocon flags flying on top of the DLCC and a sad squirrel not wanting the con to be over. We had breakfast at the Diner and it was a real dissapointment since it took us forever to get served and stuff was cold. I wanted one of the cute bunny shirts but that really soured me on it and I ended up not getting one and walking out of there upset. We heard that the PA turnpike was shut down due to a bad accident so decided to take I79 down to I68 in Maryland then head over. Well, somehow got a flat tire outside of Pittburgh and had to change it on the road and wait at PepBoys for 2 hours while I got a new tire (of course it is cut and not fixable). After 100+ dollar new tire we were back off for the long trip home. I will say it was nice driving through Maryland in the mountains, very scenic. We got home sometime in the early evening and just chilled afterwards. What a time!


Okay, that's what I remember. I know I left soo many people out of this, so here's a few awesome folks I met at the con.  naynay thank you soo much for the gift you gave me! That was unexpected and soo nice I love the little guy. :) It was also good getting to see  hornetv2,  squirofl,  fursuiting,  kj_roo, and all my local Delaware buddies (too many to list). Was very good also getting to meet  seanc who was bopping around in fursuit for his first time doing a great job may I add! Also got to finally meet  Rukario71 surprised it took that long and also got to see  jbadger again who was working most of the con at the ops table. Was awesome to get to see  lavshep and  dershep and even get one of the cute little white mice they had. I really like their suits and they seem like friendly folks though we didn't really get the chance to chat. Umm, who else am I forgetting now.

Okay, I know I forgot people. I really am sorry if I left you out, I just have an awful memory and I am getting tired now. All in all, AC11 was an awesome con with a few ups and downs, but overall a very positive experience. I hope I can continue going to it each and every year! Thanks for reading! ^^

I am behind. Had my parents visiting this weekend and working to get my house ready to sell. Just tonight I had a breather and got through 800+ submissions along with about as many journals. I did want to put together some sort of AC wrapup that I will still try doing, though it may be less specific the longer it takes me to get to it. Just wanted to say it was a really awesome time and thanks to everyone who came and gave a hug or said hi. Will write more later.

Having A great time so far. Suited a little but just mostly walked around and bumped into people and all. Saw quite a few familiar faces so far. End of the night was spent at Tonic having a few drinks with my love  white-paw, Tilt, Lacy, BBF, and others. What a time, and the con hasn't even started yet!

Seems mods have just gave my hunny a temporary ban for posting pics against the AUP countless times over the past year and shit. Perhaps a couple were against the famed AUP but those were taken down. Everything as of late has been furry related and all. Just gets me how a mod can go around and target a certain individual. All the shit that gets posted to this site and they target who honestly doesn't post all that much. It's crap, how some of the people that have 100+ car pics or nature pics are fine. This is just harassment.

Just something I noticed lately. Going through my submissions it seems like lately I have only been finding a couple ones I really love as opposed to the winter when it seems like there was soo many more really great pieces. I don't know, perhaps its just me, but it just seems like a lot less really catches my eye anymore. Perhaps people are drawing less in the summer? Perhaps I just get spent out on stuff? I dunno. Just wondering if others are finding the same thing or not.

I know I have been a bit quieter as of late, to all my friends and such I apologize, I have just been keeping busy. I am going to be listing my house for sale soon and I have been busy trying to fix things up and such to try and help it sell in this less than wonderful market.

In other things I just came back from visiting for the weekend since it was his graduation, many congrats go out to him for a job well done! I give great props to his mom too who organized a party on Subday which was really cool, not to mention tasty! This weekend I will be flying to see my folks in Connecticut. They kinda want to celebrate my birthday with me so that's cool I guess, I turn 36 this Friday. I am sure i will have a relaxing weekend with good food, that will be nice. After that the next big thing is AC! Can't wait for that!

We are still here, did anyone think we wouldn't be (besides the religious freaks)? I just have to shake my head at all the people who wasted their money on believing this crap. I am sure tomorrow now they will start listing the many reasons it didn't happen as planned and such.

Yeah, sadly its more than less of the time it seems. Just really hate when a ton of shit comes together at the same time to make for a miserable fuck fest. Damn government shutdown looming, car engine light coming on, house shit starting to happen (as in me trying to sell it), a fun event like DooDah turning into more of a hassle than its worth, and a few health things that are pissing me off. Yeah, sadly has to always deal with the brunt of it so I decided to vent here for once. Guess it helped.
