Posted 3 years agoI may not be online much due to mental health and being distracted with Dreamlight Valley (which honestly has improved my mood more).
Another reason is that my parents and I are going to be clearing out a LOT of stuff since we're going to be moving house at possibly the end of the month! So that'll be both exciting and stressful xwx;
So if there's any major delays in replies and artwork (whether personal or owed work) then this is why c':More Active on Personal Account!

Posted 3 years agoI've been hesitant lately if I should have a 2nd account for personal art, silly doodles and pet photos
but keep this current account for commissions, gifts, adopts and YCHs :o
I have a username in mind, I'm just curious what you all think about the idea
(I know it's my decision but just wanted to know peoples' feedback)

It's tentacle related and it's adult NSFW so it's a one-off kind of drawing for me to do, which means I wouldn't do similar pics to it in future

I might make some in future if I'm pleased with the results!
It would be a mix of F2U and P2U, depending on complexity
and if I decide to provide multiple layer options or just plain linework
It won't be very soon because of owed artwork and ArtFight coming up next month
but I'll be sure to create a post for when I do c:
I think I'll be a little more stricter with details for the bases since I want to make sure it looks high quality

I'll still be working on owed artwork, these pixels would just be in between
The YCH has been made up but I've been thinking of making a non-mask version in case people want to show their character's face more :)
But there's still pride themes featured in the YCH!
I haven't quite decided on the price yet but I've been thinking £10 each
Also on a random note, if anyone wants to suggest species for pride themed adopts then let me know :D I might use a base for themFree Bat Base!

Posted 3 years agoI'm curious how some people work out their commission prices :o
Personally I've been struggling pricing myself despite I made an unpublic price sheet concept.
I don't want to underprice myself but at the same time I don't want to overprice myself too.
I wouldn't call myself a professional, I'm still learning and I usually see flaws in my art.
Sometimes I'm quick at drawing, sometimes (mostly) I get lack of motivation due to my mental health.
I want to charge GBP next time instead of USD since that's my currency. I'm sorry if people would complain since the conversion would mean higher prices, but it's been something I thought of for a while.
I've yet to actually update my prices along with posting examples, and making a price sheet. Any suggestions of prices would be much appreciated too c':
Also sorry if this journal is all over the place, I'm still tired and I'm not good with words
