I attended my first 'My Little Pony' con last week - Galacon 2018 in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
In many ways it was similar to a furry con ( same general age profile, same type of attendees etc ) so it didn't seem that unfamiliar to me. Was an enjoyable couple of days.

The con was small but nice and relaxing - well worth a try.

So, at the present moment my con schedule for the next 7 months or so is Scotiacon, then Midwest Furfest, Nordic Fuzzcon, Just Fur the Weekend, & ConFuzzled. Probably my most crowded con schedule ever ( I normally only plan 2 ahead ).
Not currently even thinking about the second half of 2018 yet.

I was a victim of the 'laden' screwup, so wasn't able to secure a room in the main hotel. I'm on the waiting list for a spot in the Estrel, but as a backup I have a room booked in the Vienna House Hotel.

I'm arriving in Berlin on Tuesday 15th August.
Leaving on a late flight home on Monday 21st.

What fursuits are you bringing?


Hmm... whether I bring a fursuit or not depends on whether my name comes up on the Estrel waiting list. I know that fursuit lockers are available for those who aren't staying at the main hotel, but there are other practicalities that would make me reluctant to fursuit unless I had immediate access to a room. So, maybe Peaches.


Can I give you hugs?

At the moment, my con schedule for the year is looking like this.

Nordic Fuzzcon in March.
ConFuzzled in May.
Eurofurence in August ( I didn't manage to get a room in the Estrel - still on a waiting list ).
Then either Scotiacon or Golden Leaves later in the year - there's a possibility both will be on the same time and if so, then I'll have to make a choice. I'll take that as it comes.

At the moment I'm unsure about the London summer weekender or Midwest Furfest.
Thanks to a US trip I'm taking in April, I'm tighter on vacation time this year than I was last year, and something may have to give.

I attended the Londonfurs boat party and big summer get together this year ( had been meaning to do it for quite a while ). Was certainly a fun couple of days. Here's some photos:

For the first time in literally years I've come home from a con but haven't got another one planned. I won't be at Eurofurence this year, & Midwest Furfest is unlikely, too.
Possibly FC in Jan, or maybe even both BLFC & Cfz next May if I have the energy. Who knows?
However, I WILL be attending the Londonfurs summer weekender party in July ( the boat party, plus the meet the next day ). It's not a con, but I will see a lot of the UK furs there.
As for what comes afterwards, the future is not set.
