I decided it's high time for my stories on this site to be a lot more convenient. I'll be converting all the .rtf files I have to .txt files with BBCode. The latest story and three older submissions have already been reformatted. I'll be doing more through the week.

It's been a while since I've done more than comment on pictures, hasn't it?

Well, I think it's time to dust off this account some more. I've gotten over my guilt and some rather daunting (at least to me) hurdles in my life. I'm still under some stress due to the health of a loved one and getting over the death of another. However, I've been working on stuff behind the scenes to get back into writing.

First things first, I decided to learn and use PostyBirb. I figured I should post more than in just one site in case the worst happens and to promote myself more. Also yes, I'll still be uploading to FurAffinity. I have accounts in Weasyl (https://www.weasyl.com/~secretfern90) and in Inkbunny (https://inkbunny.net/SecretFern90). I'll also be using to promote my stories on an NSFW Twitter. (I won't link it here just yet, as there's some organization I should do first.) I'll also be moving older stuff to other sites as well.

Secondly, commissions will be back up soon. I've been studying and learning about how to handle this sort of thing better. No "emergency on-the-spot" commissions like last time's fiasco. I'm sorry for not going through the whole list. To prevent a mess like that again, I plan to take payment and commissions one at a time. I'll be using a waiting list with slots where the next person in line is who I'll be writing for. When I get more comfortable with my skill and organization, I may take more stories in the future. Keep in mind that pricing will also change depending on how things go.

Finally, I'm going to try to get more involved in communities. My writing is fine, but there's always room for improvement. I haven't been reading other stories nearly as often as I used to. I hope to change that.

Have you ever get so caught up in your life that you partly forget your birthday was coming soon?

Well, it turns out my birthday is tomorrow. I'll be turning 23 this year. There's not much else to say besides that.

Also, don't feel pressured to give anything. If you have to give it late or not give anything at all, then that's fine. All that I ask for is at least a little bit of acknowledgement. :)

My friend and Yahoo were kind enough to inform me that someone from the Netherlands accessed my account. It was probably due to a mistake I made from adding a bot to my friends list.

Sorry for not giving an update on how the school fiasco went. Basically, I got in and I have my books. Woo!

As I approach Week 4 of my schooling though, I will be getting a lot more on my workload. Moreover, I have to visit at least five speaker events before the end of the term.

To those who wished to see me more often, this is my apology to you. I will try my best (as I do need a break eventually), but I make no promises.

Well, I'm going over to the school wtih my dad to see payment options. I'm honestly not looking forward to this.

I mean... do I need an English Degree to be happy? To be a writer? I was going to get the degree so I have something to fall back on. Maybe end up teaching one college class while working in the Writing Center as a tutor. I was really good at that. I could get paid for that once I get the required degree.

But... maybe I should just focus on writing. Focus on learning how to concentrate better so I would put off tasks less. Finally finish those extra commissions that are still left over.

I wish I can just get some answers. I'm so unsure about life right now.

After many calls, I found the cause of my lack of admission.

I'm short on funds. The school gave me as much money as possible, but I am short $2,600.

They said there is still one way I can get more money and that is by a loan approved by my parents. (There's definitely no way they can cover me as they barely make ends meet due to my nephew living in the household.)

Wish me luck on getting approval.

So much days calling people on the phone, e-mailing people, filling and following new financial aid rules, getting registered over the phone, etc. etc. It was nice to be reassured that each step was being completed and that I was a little closer to earning the rest of my degree.

Until today.

It turns out, despite all that work, I am not registered to Heritage. I was pretty sure I am because my advisor sent his class recomendations with his signature to The Head of The Eductation Deparment and Graduate Office.

Now I may end up paying a late fee, while I am already strapped for cash for books, and my financial aid may be affected by this "late" registration.

I just want to crawl in bed, forget about school, and just try to live life on my own without all this extra weight. Of course, my parents would probably insist I have to go to college even though I suspect they don't even know the least bit about the college registration process.

Like I said, I just want to crawl into bed right now. I may be exaggarating, but I made so many calls and sent so many e-mails today. I just want to forget the whole thing.

My connection seems to be going in and out. It only lasts for a few seconds, but it happens about every few minutes or so.

To anyone that wanted to see me over IMs, I'm afraid I may not be able to get on today. Sorry!

7/23/2012 Edit - Jeez, just when I thought it finally got all better, it gets even worse at around 1 PM. The last cut was particularly longer than the others.

7/24/2010 Edit - Okay, now it's really bad. The Internet and the phone are getting cut off. The cuts are getting even longer now. I just hope this edit goes through before the next cut.

I'm back, rather not say how trip went. Long car ride was long. I'm too tired, keeping journal short. Bah.

I'm going to keep this brief since I am leaving today. The family is going to a campsite near Seattle for two days, so I won't be around until Wednesday evening.

The family has been going through quite a chaotic time, mostly because of my oldest sister. The strain is now becoming too much for my father. He's been sleeping alone due to Damian not able to sleep on his own (thankfully that's changing). My sister keeps borrowing ridicious amounts of money and even the car. My father is tired of my mom's spending habits.

In short, my father may be planning to leave the house. He has told me today. He said I may have to make a decision in the future if I want to go live with him or with mom.

I may not be able to get on IMs as a result due to my mood dropping to all-time lows (or at least not online). I... I just don't know what to do. As if I don't have enough things to lose sleep over...

Edit: My head feels a lot more clearer now. I'm determined to help out the financial crisis, and somehow convince my nephew to sleep in the basement.

Due to family members having to borrow money due to their jobless state, my family can no longer pay for Internet, TV, or anything cable-related this month. I have no idea when the connection will be cut.

As a result, I won't be on... for quite a bit.

I have no idea when I'll be back up, but it's probably not going to be for a while. I'm sorry everyone.

Edit (3/12/2012): Okay, how am I not cut yet? Did they forget?

... I may stay off IMs for a day or two.

My sister and my mom fought last night and they fought together again. They are both crying. My mom can barely stand up or hold anything. My sister may be getting kicked out for good.

I don't know what's going on. Quite frankly, I don't think I want to. I just want my sister to go and try to improve her life somewhere else.

Please don't ask me for details on the matter.

Edit: Well, I found out what happened. I am still not going to say it here though out of the respect of my mom's and sister's privacy. The family went through enough today.

I'm staying away from instant messaging for a while. Some huge shit has hit the fan in my household before and after Halloween. My mom is constantly getting ill these days, mostly due to migranes. Yesterday was so bad that she has to be excused from work and went to the hospital for an IV.

I'm going to need some time for myself and maybe spend some time with my mom to cope with this.

The bad news is that financial aid from one school and the registration process from another are still trying to bite my head off.

UPDATE: I am graduating for my Associate's today! I'm on the half-way point to my education with a back-up degree in case things go wrong! With school being over, I can finally try to get back on the saddle on finishing these commissions. UPDATE: I will no longer be taking extra commissions. The situation has been resolved. However, I will still continue to finish everyone's commissions. I do apologize for the lack of updates to this account. I have been commenting people's art, but have been so busy to add stories to the account.

Well, that may start to change becuase I'm starting to sell stories in order to raise money. This money will go to pay my final quarter as a college undergraduate. I'll have my Associates while I transfer to a University to finish my Bachelors.

Most of the classes are paid by finanical aid, but not all the credits are covered as one of my classes is "filler" in order to stay a full-time student. Dropping the class won't mean the two classes are covered either, the aid will lower as I will no longer be full-time.

So I need about $300 dollars to cover the rest of the tuition in order to not get dropped out. (My dad may be able to pay this off, but I still want to pay him back. I know he's nearly broke and may have to resort to using his credit card.) This one class I need has been dropped a lot in my time in the college, but it's finally being offered. I want to take the oppurtunity so I'd get my bachelors sooner!

I am also personally doing this to see how well I can do comissions and how fast I can crank them out. I hope to also prove a little something to my dad that I can indeed take care of my own expenses when the time comes.

Therefore, since I'm working to become a writer, I should start offering my services as one. I'm selling writing comissions until I fill my goal!

Commission Details and Pricing

I'll be selling two kinds of stories: 1,000 word stories (about 1 1/2 to 2 pages on 12-pt font) and 2,000 word stories (3 1/2 to 4 pages). 1,000 word stories will be sold for $10 while the 2,000 word ones will be sold for $20.

This journal will be updated with a list as people take slots. There will be up to 15 to 30 slots depending on what stories are ordered. An idea must be given in order to take a slot. However, you are also allowed to save a slot in advance until you come up with your idea. Nevertheless, it's first come, first serve. If all 30,000 words are filled before you give your idea, you will be dropped for someone else. No exceptions.

Special Note: Lesang is offering to give a free sketch for every 2,000 word story that is bought. Not only would you get your story, but it'll have a lil' illustration too. Thanks much for the offer, Devin!

Information, Revisons, and Contacts

When you give your idea, you'll be added in the slot. I will contact you with the method of your choice except through IM (unless you're already on my contacts, or I can trust you). If you have any references of the characters you want to include in the story, I'd be most grateful if you send those to me. It'll make the first draft a lot easier to compose. I'd especially apperciate it if you send any references that showcase the character's personality.

After the first draft is finished, the story will be sent to you in order to see it is how you want the story to plan out. Please respond as soon as possible when the first draft is sent. You don't need to revise the story. I only need to see if the plot and characters are how you want them to be.

Feel free to respond to this journal or note me privately if you want a spot saved for you or an idea you want me to try. Do not ask for my e-mail. I will give you my e-mail when I am assured I can trust you and send the first draft.

Remember, I cannot begin revising the first draft until I recieve input from you about the plot and characters of the draft. The longer you take to respond, the longer I have to take to finish your story.

Method of Payment

As of now, I am not sure when you should pay me. However, I will only accept payments on my Paypal for now. I don't have many other methods of receiving money, so I am sorry if this is inconvenient for you.

Most likely though, because this is an emergency, I'll be collecting payment as soon as possible. In future, non-emergency commissions, this policy will change. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Kinky (Mature) Stories

I have no problems writing about any fetish. I have a huge tolerance to a variety of fetishes. Even if it's not my kind of thing, I have no qualms writing about it. For now, in terms of General and Mature, I'll probably have no exceptions to this. (This could be updated in the future though, so be sure to check back.)

If any popular OC characters (I.E. TV shows, media, etc.) are used, then they will be in character. I will not alter their personality to your liking (unless mind-control is involved). This is a personal preference of mine that I will not change.

Adult (Explicit) Stories

I have no problem writing explicit material. However, I will not write adult stories if you are underage in the country you reside. (If this ends up being against any laws I learn in the future, then this policy will change. I'll be sure to update this section if that happens.)

The only fetish of the adult variety I will not write about is if the character receiving the violent and/or sexual attention is underage. It is okay to include underage characters in the story, but they cannot be involved in any violent and/or sexual activity.

Policy on Posting Stories

You are free to request for me not to post the story up on FA. I will be sure to ask you if it is okay for me to post the story on my account. You are also free to ask if you want to post the story on your FA account as well (but credit must be given to me).

If there are any stories that I write that go against FA's COD, then it will not be posted on my account. If you post it on your account and get in trouble with the FA Staff, then the resposibility of breaking that rule falls on your court.

I have been getting a huge problem with my keyboard and mouse lately (P/S2 ports). They will sometimes freeze at random intervals for a few seconds. Sometimes the connection doesn't come back though and I'm forced to restart to reuse my keyboard and mouse. In fact, my keyboard went out for a few seconds twice while I was tying this journal.

I have no idea when it happens, but it seems to be when the computer is loading something, I think? Also, my computer's side vent was blocked for a few days because my mother thought it was a good idea to move it against a wall.

Last night, I have cleaned the computer out with some compressed air.

Does anyone have advice for a situation like this? I really can't afford a new PC at this point. I'm nearly broke from school expenses. I can't pay for a candy bar let alone a new computer.

If it only requires replacing the keyboard and mouse, I do have two backups that are brand new. (Ball mouse though, so my gaming skills will decrease dramatically.)

I'm sorry if this is depressing news to any of my pals. Hopefully, this will get fixed soon!

Update: I clean the damn thing inside out with air compressor, and it STILL dies on me! I'm guessing the mouse's motherboard is frying. :/

I just finished my Finals today. Currently I'm soaring through college with a stellar 3.5 GPA. I'll definately try to be on a lot more now. Plus, summer means that I'll be posting stories around here again! Be sure to check every now and then for submissions!

I have a project to finish where I have to write about the place where my teacher assigned me. It's a couple of hours away. Moreover, I need a haircut badly and have to finish all my mathematics homework before I take my trip on Sunday.

I have to really focus on my academics this week. I not only have to finish work, but I also have to finish financial aid to get money for next year. I have to make sure I have the concept of two novels, act out in a one-act play, and somehow understand how biopshycology works.

In other words, don't expect me to be on IMs often, or at least not as "available."

And to those who I haven't informed, I have a new PC and it's running great.

It is official. My computer is fried. A simple heat sink replacement will no longer do because the computer still freezes. A lot of the internal parts are too old and burned to be of any use. Considering my dad had to repair almost everything else around the house and has been out of work for a while now, the amount of options is thin on the financial department.

I will be gone for quite a while until my dad sees what can be done to salvage the PC. Until that day comes, I can no longer view FA submissions or get on IM programs as often as I like.

If anyone has any good recommendations of a new PC Tower though, I'd like to hear them. Just e-mail me your suggestions via Yahoo. I can still use the mouse, monitor, and such. I just need a new PC tower that's compatible with an HP pavilion f1704 monitor. Maybe I could salavge the money for it? Hopefully?

Another decade has passed. 2000-2009 is over. Quite honestly, it wasn't exactly a high point nationally for my country. However, I can say the later years were a high point in my life. That's all I really can say in the matter.
