We have been active on our Discord server, hosting movies and game nights for those that want to interact with each other.

Fursonification 2020 postponed until further notice!
Posted 5 years agoSouth East Florida Furs has been closely monitoring the situation regarding COVID-19ās effect on the tri-county area. Staff have made the decision that is in the best interest of our communityās health that we postpone Fursonification 2020 until further notice.
Our plan is to make it available as soon as possible. The decision was based upon temporary restrictions limiting crowd size, recommended by the CDC and Florida governor, the closing of local beaches and restaurants, and because the venue is a Florida State Park. For those who have already pre-registered with a donation, finds will be carried over to the new date.

We will not have a badge printer at the event, however those showing up at the event can still get a badge and we will have a sharpie for you to write your name.

We wont be asking you guys to bring any food or anything~ it's all going to be provided for you! And we have a few activities planned that we will announce closer to the event! And this year we are in one easy to find place!

Yup, it's back!
Fursonification is SEFF's yearly meetup where we try to get together as many furs as possible into one spot. This year we will again be at John U. Lloyd Beach State Park in Dania Beach. Last year was our first year at this park and it really was a hit.
There will be food, drink, music, games, and of course...the beach! We will be at the Sea Grape Pavilion which is located close to restrooms and the beach front. Park admission is $6 per vehicle for 2-8 people, $4 per vehicle for single occupants, and $2 for pedestrians/bicycles. These fees are charged by the park. Fursuiting is OK, though I would keep an eye on the weather for that day.
As always, it helps a lot if you bring something to contribute (chips, drinks, plates, utensils, etc...), so leave a comment if you can bring something and I will start a list.
So, come join us and hang out with some old friends, meet some new ones, and just have fun. If you haven't been to one of our meets, this is the place to start. Food, Fun, Friends, what's not to love?

Fursonification 2015 - Its Back!

After a brief hiatus, it's back!!!
This year comes with a new location, at John U Lloyd Beach State Park. Just a few miles south of our old location, John U Lloyd offers better pavilions, better parking, and...that's right....A BEACH!!!!
We will be located at the SEAGRAPE pavilion.
So, come help usher in spring with us, see old friends, make some new ones, and have FUN!!! There will be food and drinks provided. Please bring side dishes and snacks for everyone to share. We will have games, music, artist areas, and fun in the water. Feel free to bring things to trade or sell as well. Fursuiting is, of course, allowed. We will have a covered area with fans and water for the suiters.
The park charges an admission fee:
- $6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
- $4.00 Single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle.
- $2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
The parks pet policy states pets are permitted in the park, but not on the beach. They must be well-behaved and kept on a six-foot handheld leash at all times. Pets must not be left unattended or taken into restroom facilities or concession areas. Please clean up after your pet. Service animals are welcome in all areas and buildings of the park, as required by law.

3109 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33338
We will be in pavilion #3
We will be hosting our first annual Seffurs Park Spring BBQ
There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, soda/water and some small sides and snacks provided
I have also rented out the ever so awesome #3 pavilion, it's near the water and two grills for cooking and perfect for fursuiting around and saying hi to the passing boats, lol :3
Now as before with any event I always try to get everyone involve with helping, donating and setting up for the event

So here's the plan:
This event will also be kind of like a potluck, if youāre good at cooking, want chips, cookie, etc. feel free to bring it! ^_^ snacks and food to cook on the grill and drinks that you might want to bring are all fine and are super encouraged!
**please note the park has a strong āno glass containerā and āno alcohol ā rule, so if you want to drink at the party please hide it in like a sports bottle/water bottle or something like that.**
Now to help cover for the cost for supplies/food/pavilion rental etc. I would like those who are able to and are joining the event to please donate whatever/any amount you can, thereās a paypal [ nekochristmas[at]comcast.net ] and have in the PayPal note what the money is for or just giving me the cash in person is fine at the party too. I love hosting the parties and as a group effort if we can keep up donations we can have more throughout the year. [Maybe a summer one too? :)]
On a side note:
I'm going to need a few furs for setting up and cleaning up afterwards [when the party is done, the park rangers inspect the grounds and pavilion to make sure everything is good, if not I have to pay the park a clean-up fee] they will have to show up an hour before the party at the lot #3 at the park [if you guys want we can all carpool from my house to make it a bit cheaper for the park fee]
So far for setting up and clean up I have the fallowing shown interest
1. Eclipser Fox
2. Bosco
3. Rune Tail

[*setting up is stuff like putting the table cloth down, getting the grill ready, helping wire stuff up, party banners etc. and cleaning up is all of thatā¦.but backwards, lol]
*I will also be having Fizzy Fox Dj-ing the Music for the event with his awesome mixes!
*If someone would like to be the cook for the event email me or text me to let me know [my info will be posted below] if not, I will be cooking the yummy food
*I will be taking a group shoot/picture for the Seffurs main page and FA page before sunset
Park charges a one time a day fee to enter the park grounds:
$6.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
$4.00 Single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle.
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
Because it's $6 per car load up to 8 people, might be a good idea to carpool if you guys happen to live near each other [also a good reason to meet local furies when driving there!]
I canāt wait to see you all there!
