Posted 9 years agoHaving some very unexpected financial hurdles this holiday season, including a broken PC, so I'm opening up for commissions!
FAQ:
Q: Why should I commission you?
A: I done write pretty good. But seriously, I have a degree in creative and professional writing, and though my FA gallery is light, I have had professional writing experience.
Q: But I don't want a masterpiece, I was looking for porn.
A: I've also been told I'm pretty good at pushing the right buttons, if that's what you're after.
Q: But what is this crap gonna cost me?
A: I'm currently offering two different commission types.
$5 Story Sketches - These are short 1-2 page (500+ word) scenes with a max of 2 central characters (negotiable depending on scenario, and not including background micros, etc). Good for a bit of flash fiction or simple fetish sequence.
$20 Full Stories - These are 2,500+ word stories with a little more depth. Good for something with a bit more focus on plot, or a more involved fetish sequence.
Q: What do you/don't you write?
A: Just about any genre is okay with me, and I've written something in most. My gallery has a small, but wide-ranging collection of stories from classic fantasy, to cartoony, to moody.
But when it comes to fetish material, I'd say I specialize in macro and micro fiction, but I have written muscle growth, inflation/weight gain, hyper, and a few other things. About the only things I absolutely won't touch are incest, scat, and babyfur/underage characters. Otherwise ask me about it and we'll see.

On Scalies
Posted 9 years agoI don't make a lot of journals. I make fewer yet that are kind of ranty. In fact, this is my first one. But I feel I gotta say a couple things.
There's a Kickstarter right now for socks. It's kind of a neat idea. Furry socks. And I know many of you like the paws. It's just a sock, but y'know, it's fun.

You may notice something, however. Only 1 out of 14 designs features a scaly. And I'm gonna go ahead and say a dragon shouldn't even count. We are the anomaly. We are the Popular Scaly that has risen from obscurity to basically be the Fox of scalies. It's to the point where I know I've attended panels at conventions and many dragons don't even consider themselves to BE scalies. It's a weird disconnect, but I think the unconscious desire to distance oneself comes from the fact that people don't like scalies.
Now this isn't everyone and I'm generalizing a little much, but it's hard to escape the impression. I did a scaly panel for two years at AnthroCon, one of those years was my very first year at any convention. My very first year really being openly furry to anyone. I did NOT want to get up in front of a bunch of people and talk about playing a dragon/lizard/whatever on the Internet. I did it because nobody else was going to do it. I somehow stumbled into the job, because I felt it was important to have that. And I feel like when I went there and all these people showed up it was worth it. There was a real feeling that they needed something like that to get together because otherwise they get a little sidelined. Not only by furries, but honestly a bit by dragons as well.
Obviously I think dragons are super cool, and I even have a fox character. That's not bad. I also think there are other species that can kinda get short shrift from people. But the difference is that scalies are a whole CATEGORY of species that get sidelined. Lizards, snakes, crocs, gators, dinosaurs, and all the rest are super cool and shouldn't be ignored.
So it might just be a small and inconsequential thing, but if any of you like scalies I hope you will consider voting in this poll for "Crocodile." It's just one species, but right now it's what's on there for the token scaly. It's continually lost polls to different variations of dogs and cats. Like seriously there are enough of the sock designs that are dog and cat based. If you like dinosaurs or snakes or anything else, I just think it would be good to vote for this so scalies don't get completely shut out because they can't ever win a popularity contest.

Story Commissions for the Holidays - One Week Completion
Posted 11 years agoIt's been a crazy last couple months, and a stressful last couple months as well. That's mostly why I've just not been around. I'm looking to shore up funds a little bit for the holidays, and this is the best shot I have. I'm going to do my best not to foul it up.
I'm going to have two slots for $20 story commissions. They will be 4-5 pages single spaced and open to most ideas except incest/scat. Feel free to ask. Obviously I've done mostly macro/micro, but can do other stuff. I am putting a guarantee that they will be completed in one week or you get a refund. That's for everybody's sanity, including my own.
This does not affect any outstanding requests I've said I'll do.
I might open up more slots after the initial two, but if I take on something beyond that the one week guarantee starts when I've finished the first batch, if that makes sense.

Still not dead
Posted 11 years agoJust scatterbrained. Had a macro dragon visitor for a week. Dragons are hard to recover from, but it's not their fault. They're just so big and stuff.
Things and stuff have been happening. Mostly the good kind of things and stuff. It's suddenly October, and that's crazy. It already snowed here one day, briefly. Fall was too short. I got outside some at least. Now I just need to work on story requests and myriad other tasks...
But I'm here and okay and thought I should post something since I've been visiting the orbit of Saturn. Not quite Neptune, I don't think, but Saturn probably.
(There's a moon called Titan you know.)

(Adult) Short Story Idea Requests
Posted 11 years agoUpdate: So far all of the requests I've received have been from people I know pretty well. There's the upside to this that I'm pretty familiar with what you guys would want, but at the same time I was hoping for at least some interest from people I don't know. So if you're in that category feel free to post your idea. I will definitely write the four slots I've given, but there's a good chance I'll see about doing ideas I like from new people. Also so far it's been all micro-focused ideas. There have been none that are macro-focused or contain groups of 'victims.' These are things that are okay!
In an effort to be more active, as well as unblock some writer's block I have been suffering I've decided to try taking requests after a fashion. Please read below how this is going to go down.
I am planning to write four short stories of a mature to adult nature. The primary starting point of each are the genders of the main characters. Like so:
Story 1: Large Male/Small Female [Tegan/Sylvia rwolf5]
Story 2: Large Female/Small Male [Sylvia/Lime/Dino dinosorceror]
Story 3: Large Male/Small Male
Story 4: Large Female/Small Female [Lime/Elena sabledrachen]
If you feel like you have a really good idea and the story slot you want is taken, post it anyway and we'll see about it.
From there the details are pretty much in the air. There may be other characters, but primarily the stories will be focused on two. The characters themselves, setting, plot, size differences, and whether it's more macro or micro themed are to be decided. I'm putting a list of my characters at the end of this journal. I might also use someone else's character if I feel comfortable doing so or just make up something original to go with the scenario. I'm including very brief descriptions and whether the character tends to be large to small. These are only guidelines. They will adapt to fit whatever story. Reversals can be fun. Details available upon request.
Using my characters is not required they are merely there for the sake of convenience!
Any requests you want to put forward for any of these four stories can be posted to the comments of this journal. If I dig it, I'll write it. Feel free to build off other ideas if you want. I might take a few and fuse or change them around a bit or add my own details. Even if you only have a partial idea you want to see implemented, add it to the mix. (A setting or particular emphasis like paws for example.)

Incest (Familial situations inclusive, even without actual sex)
Endangerment/Peril of children (Just no children in general I think)

I'm at Anthrocon
Posted 11 years agoSo hey, if for some reason you are watching this very idle dragon, I'm at Anthrocon. I forgot my badge like an idiot, so it might be hard to find me until I figure something out.
I have a backup that looks sort of like my FA icon (which was my main badge that I don't have), but in a cartoony style. I'll probably wear that at some point.
It's been a rough year, so I'm hoping this is a sign of things turning around!

Hey, maybe it'll be good and maybe not, but just the fact that someone is making a new modern giant monster movie gets me excited. I think it will be especially interesting given the tone of the game, and I hope they don't try to make it something serious.

Anthrocon 2011
Posted 14 years agoForgot to make one of these. Well I'm at Anthrocon right now and I'll be hosting the Reptiles and Dinosaurs panel again this year. It's a good time and even the furry ones are allowed to join us. Silly non-reptile like warm blooded dragon things (like myself) are also fine! It was fun last year.
