Idk what to say here, I just wanted that last journal off the front of my page. Sonar passed over the rainbow bridge a couple months ago and I'm still really devastated about it. He was 14, it was just before his birthday and while I've gotten kittens now, I still miss my boy so much.

But taking each day one at a time, doing ok for the most part. Gonna keep trying to draw and trying to relearn the fun part of art. I doubt I'll take any more commissions in the future with my own health and everything, but thank you to everyone who has supported me in the past. I'll probably make a new journal to bump this one off later too.

So I was doing some OUTSIDE STUFF yesterday and i got got by some stinging nettle and it's messed up my drawing hand pretty bad.

Commissions are still safe and ongoing, just giving a heads up i might be slow due to this and the medications my doctor put me on for it :')

So I'm about to be off for a week to transition to a new job! Its great, I'll be working at home, but my cat is 10yrs old and I'm gonna do something about his asthma, so I need more funds than I planned on!

To that end, I'm opening my commissions again!

I will be taking up to one fullbody and five headshots at a time and continually working! This journal will be kept as up-to-date as possible! Each headshot is one slot, so if you want two headshots, that is two slots! Feel free to comment here, on my journal, or PM me to claim!

I will likely charge more for difficult designs or for very specific instructions(things like expression/feeling etc are super fine, but if you have a very specific pose in mind I may ask for a little extra), and will discuss that before starting. As seen here, I have 5 more headshot slots open! I am thinking of offering one fullbody as well, which I will be advertising shortly!

I've got two slots still, one of which I commissioned a MYO from  madcarnival and one I have yet to decide what I want to do with. I want something that has has a bronze/copper theme. Anyone got any ideas???? Maybe with red or some other flavor color. Not sure yet! I don't even know what kind of stardragon I want yet for this one.

Looks like I've come down w/ something. I'm coughing and I have a p bad fever rn and it's making me kinda dizzy so I have been taking cough meds. I'm a little worried that 'daytime' meds have caffeine in them which I can't really have, so I've been only taking 'nighttime' ones and so I've been asleep a lot. Hopefully after this passes I can do some more art??? I owe a trade, but other than that, does anyone have anything in particular they'd like to see from me? I have only had some minor inspiration lately.

I'd like to thank you all for the many faves and watches lately, FA sure knows how to remind me why i continue to create, even if it's hard to sometimes.

I'm sick rn and laying in bed, but i kinda wanna draw too so I'm still lookin for at memes or prompts in order to spice up my inspiration recipes. Let me know if there's any of my characters you'd like to see more of, even if they're old.

I feel really out off practice and overall unhappy with my art. I think I've stagnated and can't find a way to push myself, because everything I've tried recently has fallen flat on it's ass.

I need to think up some way to push myself, especially stylistically, so does anyone have ant good ideas for this? Memes or prompts, or tutorials for painting etc??? I need some kind of inspiration to help kick start a period of growth.

 merr and I are going to take a small amount of collab commissions. They'll be fully colored/shaded, sketch and flats by me, lines and shading by her, for $30-$40 depending on detail/level of difficulty.

But I've... obviously bounced around a million billion times on my 'sona. They have different species and names and all that, and I want to kinda stick to one. I dunno if I WILL, but I'm gonna see if using my original persona/fursona, Mavu will let me do so.

I was thinking of changing her gender(making her a him or them) to reflect my own, and then trying to work the design into a legit Kitsune, rather than just 'fox girl'. Gonna try changing the name to Maro as well, and see what happens.

Mavu was my only true self-insert so!!! Hopefully this will work out for me! Even if foxes/kitsune aren't super original, I think I'm over trying to choose a less common animal in favor of just going with something I like.

IDK, JUST BABBLING

I accidentally quit FA? Hahah. Mostly, things got confusing and difficult and then I kinda forgot about this site. Also I haven't drawn any furry/animal stuff in a long time. Well, not completely true, I've drawn a couple animal like monsters, but I haven't really been sharing my art consistently lately. My tumblr has some things, but eeehh.

SO. Sorry if I spam here in the near future, but I've BEEN arting, just... you know, different stuff.

And in the year since I've been gone, I got a nice new job at a chicken processing plant making like $14 per hour. Me and  merr have a new roommate and a new place. It's all pretty exciting, but has resulted in not much art. Idk how consistent I'll be about updating here, but I figured I'd pop in, say hi, and upload some art.

 merr and i are in a really bad spot. Our phones got disconnected, and to get them reconnected it is a $200 bill. We NEED our phones, because of where we live and because merr 's mom is not doing well and she needs to be able to keep up to date on that situation.

She is working her but off, but we just don't make enough between the two of us to support three people.

She is offering commissions here and I am willing to offer commissions as well.

We also have a donation page, and if you donate even a little one of us will do something for you.

If I made a YCH sketch for a couples pose, would you prefer it to be one person buying both slots, or two people buying one? It will probably not be an adult piece

My drive for solo commissions has unfortunately drained away with the resurgence of my employment, but I will be finishing the ones I still owe.

Unfortunately, I have yet to get my first paycheck, and both  merr and I need gas money in order to continue getting to and from work until we get paid, so.

We're taking some collab commissions.

We work much faster and more efficiently together than separately, but we are both working at the moment, which is why we feel it'd work out better if we work together.

I would like to disable my page, honestly. I would like more to delete it entirely, but I know it's not smart or practical, still, my art is posted much more often on Tumblr and my Weasyl is back in action.

Bloodybits(tumblr) is the actual best place to go for my art right now. I throw things up there nearly daily. Sketches and finished art, mostly OCs but sometimes finished art.

Update: I got a full-time job at Pet World. Been taking up a lot of my time and energy, but it's rewarding, as I get to work with animals and can warn people about bad products.

But I still need to make interim monies, of course, so I've been thinking about selling some designs again, and I have a question! If someone is selling their 'original species', do you prefer if they have some sort of story for the species or not? I HAVE a story in mind, but I really won't mind if other peoples' characters don't fit it, so idk.
