Joo joo joo! I just got me liceeeennse!! Thank Krishna; who helped me to dispell my nerves right before I went to drive, Ringo; who was singing "Act Naturally" in my head during my test (!), and my family who helped me practice and such! Second time's a charm. :3

This morning, after chanting, I went to put our canary's cage into the living room so she, Big Poof, could be in the sun. Everyday I check if she's breathing (she's been ill for most of the time we've had her and the doctor only "cured her" for a short time until things came back). At this time, she's usually nesting in her cup of food she uses as a nest sometimes. She was nesting there, but not breathing. I went to my mum and told her and we agreed that it was best for her to have passed in her cup and not to have found her on the bottom of the cage. I broke down in tears, as did my mum, and we went our separate ways. I sat there crying, just thinking of the smallest things I did with and for Poof. I've lost pets before, but I was probably closest to her. Yeah, she's a bird and not a dog or cat, but there was a connection, a bonding; it didn't matter that she didn't sleep at the end of my bed or greet me at the door when I came home. And for the time she was here, I hope was well enough to have a greater and longer next life. Also, the second I started to suggest to Krishna that Poof fly around for a while before settling into her next life, I felt the heavy sorrow of loss just lift off of me. It's still sad that she is gone and she will be greatly missed, but I know she's in better hands now.

More "not so known bands becoming mainstream". Thought of it when I saw a mobile phone commercial with one of my favourite bands, the Vines, their song "Get Free" playing with Craig's beauti painting, the cover of Highly Evolved, on the mobile's screen. Don't get me wrong, I got very excited when I first saw it! Like, flip, the VINES on a commercial! They aren't big here at all. But, the thing is that I would like the Vines to be kept out of the mainstream. I like when a band and its fans are sort'a "exclusive" and tight and rare. When a band becomes mainstream, it's not as special. :/ (Whoa... just had déjà vu ... :O) All of my favourite bands are basically like that (where I'm from, anyway); not in the mainstream, and finding fans of a certain band is rare, which is neat when you do meet a fellow fan. (All are not mainstream except the Beatles, of course. XD And, ahem, Skrillex.) Yeah, mainstream would mean they'd be more successful but, meh, it should stay about the music and not "popularity" (yeah, money is nice too, sure). With mainstream comes more cameras in your face, more unwanted interviews, more drama, less privacy, and the list goes on. It becomes less and less about the raw dream that the band started out with, and lyrics and the music become lackluster.

Just my opinion that (my favourite) bands should stay away from the mainstream circus, bar none.

All the "free art" things I snag people doing, I always request the same thing lately: Severi with his new haircut in this pose/expression. I haven't got one back yet, but I thought I would start this more and always request that. XD I love love fan art and having a series from a load of different artists is gonna' be neat! :3 Same thing, different styles. I will eventually do one myself. Which I will stream once I get some kind of a sketch thing down. XD ... Yey collection!

Ohh, hei, so I've been listening to more classic punk rock now (thanks to reading The Libertines Bound Together; GREAT read!!). Like The Clash, The Jam and a little bit of The Smiths. If anyone has any other classic (or classic influenced) Brit punk rock bands they know of, let me know! I love discovering bands! :D Cheers!

I've never really had a religion. Most of my familiy is Catholic, some more dedicated than others. But I never felt that that religion nor Christianity suited me and my beliefs. I do have beliefs; I always have (I've always believed in reincarnation and spirits). I just never found a religion that resonated with me best. For quite some time LaVeyan Satanism fit but then again a lot of it did not...

Now, lately I've been getting into a lot of different bands, one being Kula Shaker. A few of the songs the lead singer, Crispian, sings in Sanskrit. I've always loved Indian music and their singing is so beautiful and powerful. I decided to look into it and looked up the word "Govinda" that Kula Shaker named one of their songs. That word later introduced me to a branch of Hinduism called Gaudiya Vaishnavism and I looked into it more and what it's all about. A lot of it resonated with me, and at first I was pretty scared because it's very, very new to me. But then I thought, why be afraid? It's something new and intersting with me and I might want to learn and get into it more. Who cares what people think (my mum thinks I'm absolutely mental :P)? I've told myself for years that there was no "God"; "God" just lives in us all (LaVeyan Satanism). But I always had a feeling that something or somethings had to be higher than us spiritually. Has to. So I am going to be looking into Gaudiya Vaishnavism because something about it really resonates and attracts me towards Krishna and the belief that life doesn't come from matter, it comes from life. There is an ISKCON temple very close to my dads house, so I might check it out once I feel confident enough to. Being new and ignorant of this new religion is quite intimidating but exciting. ~ Achintya-Bheda-Abheda ~

So I started to order things on Amazon two week ago; that being my first time ordering online. I decided to binge and get six cds that I really wanted and a hat. Thought that was going to be it for now. Nope. I kept going on and looking things up and finding really neat things. Now I'm getting more cds (only ones that I can't find in shops) and a book (The Libertines Bound Together), a Beatles pin, and a Mums Day gift (a Rush Starman necklace). I have to stop myself from looking things up and then stop from clicking BUY BUY BUY NOW! It's just too easy!! XP Gah... bugger.

Also, I gave in and watched two full episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Ohh boi. They were episodes 25+26 of season 2, I believe; where they are doing the wedding for the brother. Wow... XP It's a flippin' kids show! How can people my age and older watch it?! "It teaches great lessons", maybe for little kids! We all know that sharing is good, and going with your gut is good, and all that. "They are cute", sure they are, you can just look at their pictures ... Ack, I just don't get humans. XD

There are a few things I "got" and "don't got". First off, I finally made a Beatles hair style work for Sev! (I am just experimenting) I've sketched Sev with "Beatles styled" hair a billion times and it wasn't working. The reason; the lynx face tuffs were big and so it made his head look ten times fatter. Sooo I tried making the face tuffs "thinner" and changing the hair style a smidge (looks more like Ringo's hair in the movie HELP! - love that movie), sideburnsss! And, just for shoits and giggles, I experimented with the style of the eyes just to try a more cat-like look. Since the picture is small and only a headshot, I will finish it and post it.

Ohh, I also "got" all of the Vines albums!!! They are one of my favourite bands and are hard to find here, so I had to order most of them. Opening each was like Christmas! I also got all of the Libertines albums (Even if the Libertines were garage rock/punk, Carlos and Peter were true geniuses, poets, story tellers and clowns. Alas.)! And a fiddler cap, though it turned out too big so I gott'a exchange it. I've never bought things online before, so I thought I'd binge (am I repeating myself...?).

Musiikki! It has kept me alive, quite literally. The bands that I've been listening to lately are the Beatles, the Vines, the Libertines, Kula Shaker, Arctic Monkeys, Supergrass, the Rascals (the British band). I love garage rock/punk and psychedelic. If anyone knows of any (British or alike) bands like those ones and in those genres, please let me know! :3 Reason I don't want American garage rock/punk and psychedelia, is because it really doesn't have the same feeling and sound as British (and alike) have. Can't explain. Just is better.

<< Because I am currently listening to "Autumn Shade" (The Vines) and that line stuck out. Fits. So, tomorrow is my drivers test; I'm more nervous than I thought. XP At first I was pretty confident, like "Ohh hei, this'll be cake", but yesterday I choked big when I practiced and started getting cold feet. My confidence level is still as low as my earliest high school years?! Really? Oi.

Ohh, was foolin' around with dA settings and all that and found you can do this thing on your profile page called "Webcam" and set any picture in it. I saw other people do it but for some reason I thought it was only for premium members. XP So, I set mine to a mint and perfect picture of Craig Nicholls (The Vines), 'cause he's gettin' me through these shoity times. Go see if ya'd like. - Speaking of the Vines, I ordered the rest of their albums that I don't have; received "Melodia" already, along with the Libertines first album! (When I found the Vines' first album in the used section of a local music store, I automatically went into fan mode! XD I jumped and made squeally noises, not caring that the shop guy was watching! The Vines are very hard to find here, so that's why I just ordered the rest. ...even squealled when I got my package with "Melodia"!) Will be getting three more Vines albums and one more Libertines album. And I ordered a fiddler cap, 'cause I like 'em, but it's too big; got'a return and get a smaller size. ... this was my first time buying stuff online. D: Thought I'd start off with a binge! >:D

Just 'cause I got music and all things Beatles on the brain. :D Yesterday, I watched Yellow Submarine; was pretty mint, for a cartoon (not big on cartoons)! Not to mention funny! "I've got a hole in my pocket... well, half a hole." "I can't help it, I'm a born lever puller!" (Gott'a love Ringo!) And I've been listening to, not only the Beatles, but the Rascals (the English band not the American one), the Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, the Vines (ohh but of course), some of the Flaming Sideburns, and some of the Coral. MUSIC GASM!

Other than that (ahem), I am going for my license in a week. I'm nervous as ever! XP It's in a town I've never drove in because our town's DMV doesn't do driving tests anymore, so I had to go to another town, and this "town" is more like a city. Fun, fun! :P

As for art, I am not in a mental state where I can finish anything. I've started way too many pieces and cannot finish them. So, so, SO A.D.D. it's not funny. Plus, I've been in a inspiration-overload! I get inspired loads from music and all I've really been doing is listening to music so I've got too many ideas clouding my "pretend machine". XP I really want to paint, acrilic or watercolour. Maybe try some abstract. And definitally I HAVE to do more portrait paintings. Soon... hopefully. But for now, expect there to be a void in the gallery until further notice. 3:

Joo. T'was very sudden. O_o My dad and I just went to check out two cars; the first one was clinky, the second was real nice. He made a deal for the second one and yeah. 'Tis a bleu 2004 Saturn. It has a 1k$ sound system in it and you could probably hear the music on the moon it goes that loud! XD

Other than that, (Ha) I've been surrounding myself with Apulanta (my favourite suomirokki band), The Beatles, The Vines, and some early 00s trance/dance musik. XD I've been getting back into drawing portraits; starting with Ringo Starr. I was contemplating submitting it here when I'm done ... not sure. I might just submit it only to dA. Also, I've been getting back into learning Finnish. I need to brush up on the basics again and then get back to figuring out sentence structure and all that. XP Lot's o' work but I love to learn this beautiful language! <^^>

Free animated pixel icon Raffle! Not for the pole icons but for a chibi blinking/tail wag icon like Severi and this human - all furry of course. BUT the difference is, that I have ONE spot open and it is a RAFFLE. I would love to make you all one but I just can't. The way I will pick the "winner" is literally through raffle. I will write all the names on a paper, put it in a hat or something and pick one. So that way there is no playing favourites or "first come first serve" - this is fair. Everyone has a chance. :3
