Posted 3 years agoIt's been a long time since i updated my journal, and... phew boy, these past couple years have really put me through the ringer. My mental health has... really fluctuated, and i haven't been able to go get checked properly, nor have i really told any one in my family because i'm scared they won't believe me.
So to start, one of my long time IRL friends cut all ties with me. Gone are the days where people could agree to disagree on political subjects, which is what the cause was for him doing so. It really hurt me, having enjoyed the times we would hang out together. 10+ years of a friendship gone like that.
Then, there's the matter of my uncle. He'd been in and out of my life for years starting when i was little, finally moving to be closer to me, my mom, and everyone else once my "grandmother" had died a few years ago. I thought we would have loads of time together, spending quite a bit of time going out and checking out places. But then, a couple years ago the dreaded C word afflicted him. At first, we thought he would get through it, as they'd caught it early. That, sadly, was not meant to be. First year he did well enough, but the second year took a turn for the worse. Finally, in March... he finally passed. My final words to him when i last saw him were "I Love You." He wasn't even coherent enough to reply back.
He didn't even get to hold his grandniece, who'd been born the night before he'd passed. He'd been so excited when my sister had announced that her and her hubby were expecting with their last baby. He swore he'd fight so he could meet her... but lost. Everyone in my family, including my mother (who was his sister) were devastated. My mom took it the worst, crying for days.
With how this pandemic had been, my only other IRL friend has been keeping his distance, but we still talk over Discord every now and then. It's just not as fun as actually coming over and hanging out, though. I just wish we could actually hang out again for real.
Right now, i'm just mentally drained and tired.

2 more weeks.
Posted 7 years ago2 more weeks till my 27th birthday. To be honest, as my dad put it "Another dull day, older and broke." Ah well. Just another day, i suppose.

Posted 10 years agoAs of late i have been busy working at a new job i got down the street. It's not really much, as i get paid only $5 or $10 depending on if the day is a delivery day or not but it'll change to $25 plus commission a day once my boss gets the kitchen part of his store reapproved. Lately i've been feeling like i've let a lot of people down by taking a really bad job like this. But this is better than no job, right?

Posted 10 years agoSo they released the trailer for the new Starfox game on the Wii-U, and one of the things i noticed was that Krystal has for all intents and purposes been retconned out of the Starfox Universe. I mean yeah they claim it's not a "prequel" or "sequel" yet it seems more like a reboot/retcon to make people forget that Assault and Adventures exist.

Here's a serious journal, for once.
Posted 11 years agoAs of late i've been struggling with depression, feeling rather pathetic and useless to everyone around me. Its been affecting me for a long time, and i cant help but feel that its been taking a rather bad toll on me when it comes to my friends. As much as i would love to get help, i can't even find a job to help me find the necessary help to pull myself through. Some days i feel happy and like a million dollars, others i feel low and rather like i should go crawl in a ditch and die, like tonight for example. Now over the past few years im sure there's been quite a few furries who've suffered from depression and... let it win by taking themselves out of the equation, i can assure you that while i have considered that option that i have not done that, and aim to win this fight. I just wish i had people to help me, and not try to tell me im doing it for attention... It hurts so bad that i've been thinking about taking a few steps back, forgetting everything i have and to find myself, hopefully to help me win this fight. I've lost a couple of friends myself because of depression, i really don't want to leave what friends i have left the same way they left me... I am sorry for all that i've caused, and wish that i could've been a lot more talented like so many artists... but all i have is nothing to show for it. No skills, no talents... hell, i can't even draw... All i have is the fear of dying alone...and the fear that has come true, and that is that i am never going to amount to anything.. im sorry for my rambling, and thank you for taking the time to read this...

Now i wanna really want to know; What do you really think of me? Am i too quiet, too bitchy? or am i someone that deserves being isolated to misery because of my poor decisions? Posted 13 years agoI have reasons, many of them, to believe its just a cruel joke on me for whatever i did wrong. several failed relationships, and a ton of depression is dragging me down.How can i rise to this challenge when i get dragged down? it's just...really mind puzzling
