Sorry for the horrible updates on stuff and commissions for the last year.
It's come to my attention that people started to believe that I'm no longer around.
That's not the case exactly.... I plan to complete all commissions and come back.
My life in the last 12 months or so has been completely chaotic...
Last year due to everything costing more money, I got a 'normal job' as I've stated before.
That turned into two jobs that I was working and almost no time to do anything else.
Then I trimmed down one job and was ok until a close friend needed a room to live in to get out
of a bad situation. So I suddenly had a roommate... then I was tossed into a management position at my job.
Then the holidays and family birthdays happened.
Shortly there after I had a very good friend of mine get diagnosed with stage 4 esophogil cancer.
Towards the end of last year I worked on a few commissions owed then had a friend come out for a month to visit so I got to play tour guide.
While all of this was going on (holidays, etc,) My boyfriend kept getting sick and missing work.
Then we had three of our pets need urgent vet care.
So I've spent the last few months recovering from all of that. I am
just now where I can work on stuff and be social again online.

Hello sorry for the lack of updates life has been busy. I am working on stuff behind the scenes. I appreciate all of your patience and continued support. I will update more as I have time. ;3

I will have finally gone back to one job so I have more time for art. I am working through some of my queue in the next couple days. I appreciate and apologize for the delay. :3

Okay so I know some of you have expressed concerns because I haven't been around much lately. To be honest there's alot that's been going on. I don't even know where to start... first my 'part time' job has been essentially full time since I started. Then last month we had a covid quaretine, I've also been helping my best friend get out of a really bad situation for the last couple months. On top of the fact that my daughters adoptive grandfather passed away three weeks ago and I've been helping with making arrangements for that. then I helped another friend get out of an undesireable situation (she's now our roommate which is awesome lol). Then I got a call that a very good friend of mine that I've known since I was 18 (about 22 years now) was diagnosed with throat/esophogil cancer which is concerning because he's 84 years old. So I might have to make a trip out to maryland this year to see him and make sure he's ok. However things are going to be getting better soon ( I put in notice at my main job because of everything listed here and work stress.) But what this means is by this time next month I can finally work my second job and go back to doing commissions on the side. If you're waiting for art from me and haven't heard from me lately please message me. Though I realistically won't be able to work on commissions until I have my last day at my main job because I feel as if they're gonna work me to the bone in the time they have me for.

So some of you know that I've been 'chasing' my bills for a few months as the economy has gotten worse. So I decided to go get a part time job, it's not something I really -want- to do but I think it's something I need to do. However! This doesn't mean I'm stopping art. It's more I'm going back to how things used to be for the for seeable future. I will be working on commissions in my off time. Hey guys I hate posting things like this. But as some of you know my partner (tode) has had his cat in his life for almost 20 years. Over the last couple months her health has been visably declining she's lost alot of weight and can't walk steady and we decided today that we were going to make 'The Appointment'. Ideally we would like to get her ashes back for him, but the cost of this is around 700$ when everything is said and done. I'm looking into cheaper options but honestly most of the vet offices in our city use the same service company so I don't see the prices changing much. I'm not asking for people to donate tons (or anything if you can't) but if you can help at all I would appreciate it. Hello some of you know and some of you might not but I have been trying to schedule a pretty serious surgery. I finally after a year+ managed to get a surgery date for 3/24/22 Yay. However at the same time I'm really scared of this surgery cause reasons. ANYWAY what this means is I will try to work on some stuff from my queue until wensday of next week but I can't promise to finish much as my brain will be distracted by stress of my upcoming surgery. I will more than likely be hospitalized at least for the weekend next week and then home for recovery for a while. (not sure how long that'll be) but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I will finish your commissions as fast as I can but please allow me some time to recover from this :D

I copied this directly from my friend I've been kinda following the whole situation since it started with Oli and this just breaks my heart. As Oli said it's a shame to see this happen to a budding artist.

It's sad to see promising artists who are just starting off get chased out of this fandom. I didn't know who is until yesterday, when they sent me a note. Now, I find myself trying to help them out even a little if I can.

Please remember that art is:

A skill. It takes time to hone it, and people need encouragement to do so. Those who have spent the time to hone their skills deserve to be compensated for it- the same can be said for any skilled profession.

A luxury item. You do not *need* artwork, and if you can not afford the art then please either save up, or be chill without it. Art theft hurts artists, and I've witnessed some give up the craft due to theft.

A product of a creative mind... and like all 'mental exercises' sometimes they just don't work right. It's not something that can just be turned on or off.



All that being said- there is a young artist who was ripped off by the same person who recently ripped me off. However, it's worse for them, as the thief pretended to be a friend. They have decided to leave the fandom and give up on art due to the behavior of said thief and their group of friends (who evidently have been making death threats).

For most well established artists such things would be laughable. But, for someone who is just starting out- it can be very scary and intimidating.

I ask that if you are able, or curious, to go check out these links and possibly get in touch with the owner to adopt some of their characters.
