first months rent at new place
Posted 8 years agogoodness super excited to move out and all but the rent is so nervewracking... especially since it's myself with two really close friends. Don't wanna muss this up bleh.
with my apple pen dying its not like i can do art to calm my nerves either :/

Zelphiots (closed species based on stories)
Posted 8 years agoZelphiots are souls corrupted upon dying, often turning into playful spirits. There is a rare chance that the Zelphiot will have multiple animal characteristics, but it is a common thing to have two different animal traits.
A playful species, they are often shy when approached by new creatures. After warming up to the new creatures, they have a tendency to act as guardians or companions to the creatures.
Zelphiots can be any size due to lack of a physical body, but often remain small as to hide easier. Often the creatures are unaware of what they are.
Due to the fact that they are intangible, they cannot be consumed. Ghost-kin can potentially eat their essence, but due to the lack of core, the Zelphiots will just reform later.
traits:
dispersed by iron: due to fay like properties, the Zelphiots are weak against iron. Rare types can often ignore weaker strains of iron, but they often choose to ignore it.
Dark kin: It is common for the corrupted to be granted dark attributes, but they generally only can be light or dark attributes. Rare species can have a variety of other attributes attached to their main attribute The light versus dark attribute just applies to whether they are nocturnal or diurnal.
aura: blood red and shiny auras (metallic style) are extremely rare, but more common auras range widely. aura has no effects on the creature's overall abilities
chimera properties: uncommon and rare zelphiots tend to have two or more combinations of animal characteristics. This mainly affects its visual appearance, but adds to the mystery of where they come from. mythical zelphiots have a tendency to be able to affect the real world with the parts they have from other mythical creatures (ex, dragon wings allow for gusts of wind and eyes of a phoenix can start fires)
effects on life: zelphiots don't really impact the material world often, but depending on what bonus traits they have, they can impact momentarily. (ex certain bat kin have the ability to act as a blood transfusre. Although that is a rare trait, it is very common in hospital fields due to the potential.)

Posted 8 years agoWelp... somehow managed to mess up and become 400 or short for rent... even with a relatively stable job. Bay Area living man... way too pricey.

Posted 8 years agoso turns out I was massively misinformed in regards to copyright laws.
basically to summarize all the bloody research i just did.
it is illegal to use a piece of work in most ways. Obviously looking at it to get some influence is one thing, but lets say you wanted to massively alter the artwork in any way. Like free hand draw it but breaking it up into many pieces, that is still copyright infringement.
I am super tired so i don't know if that made any sense... I'll clarify later

I am currently working on decorated glasses, shot glass/drinking glasses etc...
each one is $12 for a design of your choice.
simpler is better but if you want something more complicated i'm up for the challenge.
some examples would be paws with your name around it in a crest.

My only previous experience i've had was a japan expo and i will say i enjoyed fur con better. Everyone is extremely friendly and makes it a very relaxed atmosphere. I was dragged along by a friend and I will never regret it,…or will I O.o.
