1) What was your FIRST video game console?
Atari 2600. Possibly the commodore 64, its hard to remember wich I played first but I have fond early memories of them both.
2) Name a few games you played on said console. The ones you played the most.
Commodore 64 was mostly my own made games, so for the Atari I played Bomb and Omega Race a good lot, along with that tank game and all the other random ones I had laying about.
3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
Excluding handhelds? But Game Gear was so awesome.
Dis including duplicates of say old Ataris um,
Nine or ten including older machines and a Sega Master System adapter for the genesis model 1.
4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
I never really got into it till Street Fighter Alpha 3. I love the whole ultra high combo thing.
I'd say Guy from SFA3 or anyone just as fast.
5) If you think Capcom is a FUCKING awesome company with kickass character designs, I would like to hear a "hell yes" followed by a Capcom character you love.
Hell yes, um, Felicia (Darkstalkers), no wait, Katt(Breath of Fire 2), no wait, Aile (Megaman ZX)

6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
As long as they wipe their hands its cool. I do hate cleaning controllers when it could be prevented though. I make my little cousins was their hands first though. They get them really dirty really fast.
7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG? I will allow a second and third fave if you insist.
Hmm, I'm more of an action gamer, but Chrono Trigger is the best. Chrono Cross was other worldly. Though my all time favorite is Skies of Arcadia. I nearly finished that one more than half way. (thats alot for me and RPGs I never finish em. Cept for chrono trigger......) Edit: oh ya Seiken Denatsu 3, or Secret of Mana series more or less.
8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
2D, nothing beats hand drawn fully animated sprites. Say like Street Fighter Three, top notch animation that has yet to be out done.
9) Are you an SNK fan?
Not a hardcore fan but I keep my eye on Metal Slug and King of fighters and the like. Plus Crystalis was my favorite Zelda like RPG for the NES.
9) Are you good at DDR?
Not a bit. I can handle it with a keyboard though.
I'm better with insane bullet shower shoot em ups.
10) Who wants to kick that dog's ass from Duck Hunt?
That dog was great. I just wanna shoot ducks. Still waiting for that Duck Hunt sequel.
11) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
Possibly but its hard to tell if they were really important. Real life is always more important than games, though it helps me wind down from the constant stress.
12) Do you listen to video game music?
It's mostly what I listen to. I like my chiptunes but overall I just like background music without words or hidden meaning. Just motivational sounds that aid ones emotion rather than change it or push ideals.
13) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character..?
Not really, though I've had alot of ideas. It sounds fun.
14) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
I suck at Tekken (I say its a button masher) but some cute girl game up and beat me hands down.
Never had that problem with street fighters and the like, but I usually play fair and balanced to make it fun.
15) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.
Sonic one, two, three, CD, Adventure maybe? Outrun 2019 (my most favorite) needs a remake like Outrun 2006. I was disapointed that the 2019 vehicle was not a secret unlockable to ride.
16) Mario or Sonic?
Sonic, Mario is just too slow for me.
Though with the bad Sonic games out there its better than nothing.
17) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use SpiderMan as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version? It doesn't have to be SpiderMan btw.
Nope. Maybe if Capcom did one again. Nah, those are rarely worth the cash and best bought in the bargain bin. They do stick around shops for a good long time though so not hard to miss if its an inkling near good.
18) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
Sports, Quiz, MMORPG (All I ever do is end up talking more than leveling. They are all the same game these days, I wanna see a full world exploring MMO RAcer or VS Fighter :3 )
19) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love? You can name a few if you want to.
Outrun 2019 (genesis), not all that unique but I think it deserved more.
Tube Slider (Gamecube) like F-zero but in tubes and ultra mind bending, hard to play for most, but fast and exilirating for me :3.
Toy Commander (Dreamcast), Just needs a sequel already.
20) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
I'm usually quiet about it though I've said things aloud before at times.

Yes, though not much.
Ones I wear on occasion would be my Blast Works T-shirt and my Dreamcast dog tags with an old Genesis controller keychain that came from my old sonic shoes when I was real little.
22) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
I thought it was a fun silly pointless movie about a Mario Brothers world that never existed. Some good futuristic props though. Personally I'd like to see a game made out of that. Would be extra silly.
Really though, if it was closer to the game's small weird story would it have been any better? It's a good movie for its own merits, but should never been taken seriously.
23) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
Never seen it, but I'd like to watch it once.
I saw the two Mortal Kombat movies though.
I was disapointed by the lack of special moves.
Didn't really notice the lack of fatalities.
24) Who hottest out of these three KOF chicks IYHO?
KOF? Erm, Athena I guess. These three? Didn't see a selection.
25) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?
I use the term "Retro" or just "older games" if it comes up but usually theres no need for it in most of my conversations.

Animal Crossing GCN. Came back after a good ride in my friend's washing machine. Still worked, though I found the texture overwriting bug about that time too so thought it was due to damage.

Yep, An old RPG Studio for the dreamcast, hmm, thought I had more...
28) Are you ready for this meme to be over, or could you keep going?
I think the questions could be more refined, but I like it so far.
29) In this scenario, let's pretend you're going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where? This can be simple or elaborate.
I don't like tattoos. But if I had to I guess I'd stick a SEGA logo on my back.
30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?
Nah, though I've seen some very moving game stories before.
A better question would be "were you moved by a game" or "did a game make you feel sad story wise" as asking about crying is a little more than most are willing to admit. It's not a good basis to prove if games can be emotionaly moving or not.

Pretty fun RPG, and I don't like RPGs that much too.
I'm having fun with the "push attack to the beat to gain extra hits" mechanic. Most enemies have their own music. It's pretty cool.
Also the story is kinda darker than I thought it would be. Mother 2 (Earthbound SNES)
Still worth hunting down and trying.

Found some nice flash games that work with it.
Wiicade is nice but feels limited plus disables the broser controls.
Do a search for "wii flash games" and you'll get some alternitives.
Crimson room, Viridian room, blue chamber, and other "stuck in a room" games work well too. Also one called "motus" or something is good too. Do a search on wikipedia for "crimson room" and you'll get a link to motus on the buttom, plus links to more room escape games.
