Starting this today at 12:30pm EST.
My fur scrap bin is overflowing as well as my scrap foam bin. I'm currently waiting on materials for a rush order, and I'm doing a walk-through webinar for a static jaw canine head.
This is entirely behind-the-scenes, all work shown on stream. With this showing everything, there will be a small fee:
$5 entry fee to enter, watch, and ask questions. This is for all day!
$10 fee to do a side by side stream (you stream with me!) for one half hour while I help you verbally as you make your head (any style of head!)
These payments will be made through paypal which, after the time of payment I will send you the password to enter. I will check every half hour. Payments will be made to

Please state if you are viewing or streaming. If you are streaming, state the length of time you wish to stream. I will take up to 4 people t a time. Once I get an alert, I will note or email you the new password.

GLFC recap plus a stolen package
Posted 10 years agoGot in Thursday night, unloaded, freaked out at the memory foam mattresses, hit the pool, then proceeded to die till the next morning..
Friday we woke, inhaled breakfast, picked up our tags, and helped kick off the con at opening ceremonies. My panel was shortly after but due to a scheduling hiccup, only a handful of folks attended. We suited around the rest of the day, watched two of our friends (we will let them announce themselves announce it) become engaged. We sparred LARP style a bit, had dinner with
rukh_whitefang then suited some more at the rather spacious dance.
Saturday was a bit of a busy day. Bones helped in the charity auction while Trooper got everyone rallied together for the parade.
tyzin gave me a quick lift and let 
pizzawolf and I take some shots on his bike. The GoH dinner was in there, mixed with Kage's story hour, and more suiting in Bones for a lot of dancing. Hung out for a while and harassed a few old friends while making some new ones.
Sunday Trooper was back out for more suiting, "how to bring out your character" panel, closing ceremonies, and many shenanigans, including the engagement of two more friends,
lilchiwolf and tyzin. Many tears that weekend. Swam once more, talked a lot, and packed for the morning..
Monday we were all packed up, headed home, only for me to find out that the package I had been awaiting arrived and was stolen from my porch. Asked around with no luck. Landlords haven't seen it, and it's not anywhere on the property. Not quite sure what to do at the moment. It was an avian base plus eye blanks. By no means the sellers fault. If any, it was mine for not keeping an eye on tracking and sending someone over to retrieve it. Still makes me upset they such a tiny little sleepy neighborhood houses someone so pathetic as they. Wish I could have seen their face though when they opened they box and found a bird face staring back at them...

Airbrush commissions?
Posted 10 years agoI know a few other artists take them, just curious if anyone here would be interested in paying me to airbrush their fursuit head? Yes cost of shipping would be involved ha ha involved, but I'm trying to decide if I would want to charge it as a flat rate or hourly. Any thoughts? Interests? Trying to see if it would be worth my time to open up for one or two slots.

Simple head slot? Or ear/tail slots?
Posted 10 years agoRent is worringly close and it's always a concern that an auction might not get bids. This is a backup plan that I'm putting a vote to you guys for what you would like!
1. A simple toon head slot, to be started and finished on a few livestreams. Blue eyed canine preferred, one color for the simplest work. I would need payment up front. Can be static jawed or toony.
2. Open for a couple ear/tail slots, fox/wolf/snow leopard, etc, and ONE custom. Wolf sets would be $100, fox $120 for large, $150 for XL, and snow leopard $160. Could do lion for $140.

Looking for a laptop

After spending 2 hours trying to transfer 4 photos from my email into SAI and spending another half an hour alone waiting for it to cycle through 3 unresponsive scripts, I've had it. I don't care if someone offers me a netbook or a full size, I need something that works properly. My big Asus G50V is limping, so I can't rely on it.
My current small netbook for art is an Asus EEE that will forever be stuck in its God aweful power save mode where it slams the processor into its lowest speed. It was originally wiped and blessedly brought back by Criso but has been a hellion bastard ever since, and it feels like it's getting slower (or maybe my patience is getting shorter).
I don't care if it's another Asus eee, as long as it works properly. I'd rather not work with Linux seeing as the last time I did I was 2.
Would prefer also not to work with Aser, Gateway, HP, or Apple if I can, (no Apple since I would need to repurchase a lot of non-Apple friendly programs :p) preferred brands if I can would be Toshiba or Asus, but can be flexible. I need a processing speed of at least 1.5 if I can, and if possible, 2-3 G memory, I can survive with 1 though.
I have a complete wolf pelt I can trade, perhaps offer a foam base (no eyes) in trade, or even a taxidermy mountable swift fox pelt. I'm open to other offers as well. Anyone have a laptop in good working order for sale/trade?

MCFC is a go
Posted 10 years agoDue to some recent events it seems that my representation at MCFC won't be attending. At the moment I'm not sure of days/times I'll be attending, but for the most part, I will be there at least on Friday and Thursday night after class. I will only have one suit with me and that's to get it some public interaction before possibly selling it. I'll post pictures once I alter it to fit seeing as the person it was intended for is smaller than I am. Thought some folks would like the update!

Shutocon, MCFC, FWA?
Posted 10 years agoShutocon is coming up fast but the chicken is ready and waiting! I'm attending all 3 days with Blaziken and I'm looking for someone I and my husband could borrow some floor space from between Saturday night and Sunday just after closing cerimonies! Any help would be hugely appreciated!!
MCFC is a toss up that I'm trying to see if we can go. Housing is settled, but other than that, I'm not sure. We will see! Might just be a last minute surprise or note of 'hey, not gunna be there.' Life happens, so we never know.
FWA is on the horizon and as a last minute thing, I'll be a heading down with

Commissions slots will become fewer come summer onward
Posted 10 years agoAt the moment both pizzawolf and I are registered for testing for the conservation officer program. If we succeed and we are accepted, staring January 2016 we will be unavailable for 24 weeks while we train in Lansing. In the meantime I'm putting in for a part time job to work at A local state park over the summer. I won't stop making fursuits! However, scrambling for 2 weeks of every month scraping rent together is becoming more and more difficult and soon fursuits alone won't cut it. It's causing me to become further and further behind in commissions and the physical and mental toll is becoming overwhelming. I'm extremely grateful with how patient my clients are. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am. You guys are wonderful and amazing and seriously, thank you.
What this means for the future... It means only one or two slots will open at a time. No deadlines can be accepted since I don't know the workload I would be assigned to. Working for the DNR though feels like the right thing to do. It also means convention attendance will cut down. MFF I will always try my best to attend. It was my first con and I don't want to miss it if I can hep it.
None of my personal suits will go up for sale. They stay with me. Far too many memories in them for me to let go.
Commissions as of this point have resumed. It's slow work since the basement is a freezer even with the space heater so I'm operating out of a small room upstairs till things warm up. We also can't pull much stuff out of storage to put downstairs untill we know the extent of the flooding that happens down there. Even in the winter I've found small puddles so we know it happens. The drain down there is a decommissioned hole in the ground. Aka it's plugged up.
I'm letting everyone know ahead of time what's going on so you guys aren't left in the dark.
Those waiting on shipping, I just did a small run yesterday and will be doing the final one on Monday!! With the temps so low the jeep hasn't been starting (yay for negative numbers!) so until it's warmer than -10, going anywhere is a bit rough.
