I'll be drawing and uploading a few pictures in the next few days, so keep an eye out for those. For those of you that don't know I managed to pick up a Cintiq 13HD (no Christmas or Birthday presents from myself for a year or two!) and have been using it to improve; now that I'm no longer drawing with a mouse I'll probably revisit some older pieces and redo them, much like the Calyx picture I uploaded the other week.

Haven't really been around for a week or o, just wanted everyone to know that I'm doing well. Nearly done with all the dental work I need, soon I'll be cavity free! Take my advice and keep up with your dental hygiene: it's worth it!

In my line of work I am unfortunate enough to come in contact with some of the more unsavory people, people that cause problems for others. It gets me thinking...

Haven't we suffered enough, collectively, as a species? Hasn't enough harm been done? Do we need more? I can't turn on the television or radio without hearing about some group of people calling for blood, some country testing missiles that could be used to strike across the world... Isn't it time for all of this to end? Isn't it time for us, as human beings, to come together in some relative peace? Will we only realize our folly when this amazing planet we live on has been utterly devastated?

If you are reading this, do me a favor: do something nice for someone today, spread some affection and good spirit. I can tell you it will be appreciated.

Been studying for an exam of sorts I have coming up. I feel like my brain is cooking inside of my head I'm so burned out.

Absolutely wonderful movie... some pretty intense violence, though, so if that's not your cup of tea I'd suggest a milder title.

Got to love them three day weekends! Especially when there's a slim chance that I'll have to come into work during that time!

I recently acquired Operation Raccoon City, and have begun to play it. It's not bad, but the single player is a little derpy; I can tell it's a game built around it's multiplayer. Which is fine, really... I'm all in favor of that. But still, the AI of the bots leaves some to be desired. I've watched my bot squad-mates stroll right into a laser trip-mine, get up, and walk right into the next one... and yet I've seen zombies make a conscious effort to avoid those very same explosives. No wonder Umbrella went under... their top operatives are dumber than reanimated corpses!

Doing pretty good on the whole 'no more caffeine' thing. I get tired more often, but I'm learning to cope. I might have to go back to the occasional caffeine use in order to get by, while still keeping all soda eliminated from my diet. MITE B COOL

Seriously though, I dropped it because I was drinking way too much of it, but now... I'm having Mountain Dew cravings like no other. I saw a two liter of coke in the gas station today and stared at it for a good minute. But, like any good addict, I recognized by problem and I'm taking steps to fortify my decision...

But it still stinks!

In other news, expect more of my weird art here soon. Had busy day so I didn't get anything done, but if I have some time soon I'll put hand to mouse and draw up some digital delights!

Boy was I surprised when I stepped out for work yesterday!

A pleasant breeze, warmed by the afternoon sun, gently ruffled by feathers... it seems like it's been forever since it's been hot enough to actually cause me to sweat a little bit! I guess that means winter is officially over... and that's okay. I'll miss it, but it is nice to be able to go outside without heavy coats on. True, nothing's better than coming back to a heated apartment and nestling down in bed after a night of work in the freezing cold, but now at least I can leave a window open and not turn into a frozen gryphon-pop!

As much fun as freezing my tail off and being turned into an ice sculpture can be, winter also had some legitimate reasons I'll miss it. I love taking a walk at night when there's snow on the ground... when the world is quiet, and you can just enjoy the season. Though I'll miss certain non-flu inducing aspects, I am welcoming the spring with open wings, and you should too!
