Hey everyone,

So things have been a bit hectic with family and health which has led to a lot of things being worked on behind the scenes but not a whole lot making it onto the stage.

From December 24th - 28th, I will be visiting my grandparents. Because of guests coming through their home unexpectedly, any fursuit/craft work will be left at home and I will be taking my laptop and tablet to crank out the remainder of my drawing commissions. This is with the hope that I will start out the new year with a fresh drawing queue and a smaller fursuit/craft queue.

I'd like to thank everyone for their understanding, patience and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and warm holiday season. See you all in the new year!

Bad joke was bad. This is me just taking some time to check in and say hi.

I'm sorry I haven't been around a lot, enough happened in these past three months that the ground under my feet became shakey and I was second guessing a lot of things.

I've drastically cut back on my commissions and will only be open through journal slots until I figure out my work/life balance a lot more.

I am working on the commissions I currently owe which can be found in the footer below. I've decided to use Trello to keep a list of my art. It's just easier for me and I get a good feeling being able to check things off. You can find my Trello by clicking here .

I suppose looking away from all the dark stuff that has happened, some good has happened!  Lucifur got me a sweet little hedgepig for my birthday. We haven't named him yet (we've only had him for 2 days) but we knew him as a baby and the breeder has been wonderful as well as the hedgie, while cranky, has been an absolute delight. Right now he's where I'm focusing a lot of my emotional energy to help get over alot of what has happened and to move past it.

Hey everyone!

I'm finally settled back in my home nest with my feeties up. It's been a crazy few weeks for me and am glad that thinks have finally died down to a dull roar. I guess I'll recap piece by piece.

FUR-EH 2014

The build up for this con was pretty heavy and dampened a lot of my excitement due to being exhausted from CCEE and then getting the conbook together for the event. Once there, my spirits brightened and it was so awesome to see everyone. So many friendly people stopped by my table and I'm so grateful for everyone who commissioned me and even people who just stopped to chat or grabbed a business card. I was located in the strip of awesome with  silverhuskywolf to my right and :iconhato and  manlyshark to my left. Lots of giggles and fun was had. I was able to deliver  sovys partial and was so happy to see it go to a good home. I have lots to upload which will happen over the course of tonight and tomorrow. The con ended on a fantastic note of being treated to literally hands down down the most amazing sushi I've ever had and wonderful conversation with  JEIKOBU.
VEGAS!

Literally the day after Fur-Eh came to a close,  lucifur and I were on a plane bright and early and on our way to sunny Las Vegas. It was wonderful to catch up with family that was visiting at the same time as well as see the sights. We didn't get to see it all but we caught some wonderful shows (Cirque De Soleils KA and The Blue Man Group). Was definitely a different experience to drink wherever we went and to just be in the warm and relax.

COMMISSIONS

I had five take home commissions that I plan to have completed by the end of the month at the latest (I shouldn't see it taking longer than a few weeks and that's only because I'm on nights for one of those weeks). I have two suits to finish up and then my queue is cleared again :D!

General

So TLDR; had a great time at FurEh and in Vegas, feeling pretty good with my commission list and hope to open again soon/am pretty open right now. The only other thing is I think I'm going to start to try digital painting and move away a bit from cell shading just to try something new :)!

Wow has life been busy but I've been managing to keep up.

Keeping up with my grandparents as well as work and commissions, it's all gotten pretty hectic in the life of this little shining cat.

With only one smaller art commission, one larger one and a suit commission all looking at due dates of ASAP, I've been juggling a lot at once. The amazing patience, understanding, and just awesomeness of everyone has been fantastic.

I'm looking really forward to CCEE this month, even have a ticket to Middle-Earth Exposed which is a huge deal for me. Tolkien was my go to when I was stressed or unhappy as a wee one and I've been in love with the series since.

After CCEE is Fur-Eh and I'm super excited to go be a giant animal with all the fantastic fuzzies as well as vend during the day. I've already planned to take very few commissions at the con and would just like to take what I can finish there, at most maybe one take home and vend what I've made before hand.

Wheew, long story short, I haven't poofed and I'm trying to keep on top of everything. Hey everyone, just a quick update!

I haven't forgotten about anyone, I've almost cleared my old queue and plan to be on a clean slate for 2014 starting February 1st!

I WILL BE AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER FROM NOVEMBER 29TH - DECEMBER 3RD .

Hey all!

We're all moved into the new house and I absolutely love it. Things are starting to settle back into a pattern of normalcy. My hours at work have settled and I'm spoiled to have a roommate with dogs. I miss my pup back home.

While I'm still a little huffy that I still lack my double monitors (that will come with time, workshop is being built still), I have a stable kitchen table and that is enough for me to draw on.

I'm back to work on commissions and my goal is at the latest, have everything done by the end of this year. Thank you so much for your patience everyone!

Once my list is cleared, I'll hopefully be opening again (definitely in tiny batches so I can keep on top of it) so I can start putting money aside to hopefully get a new tablet.
I work nights at my job which means a lot of idle time and I'm aiming to get a Wacom Cintiq Companion so I can take it with me and draw while we're quiet. I don't expect to make enough to pay for the entire tablet , but a little extra will help :3!

Hey guys,

I know I've been taking forever, and trust me, I feel awful about it. This is just a note to let everyone know I haven't forgotten about anyone and that I've just fallen behind a bit between getting ready to move and working.

Your continued patience is incredible and I can't thank you all enough for it. I know this Sunday I have a day off and I'm planning to sit down and hammer out as much of my commissions as possible.

As always, refunds are available to those who no longer wish to wait and there will be no hard feelings for asking for a refund (just please try to be polite about it :3 ). We can still be friends and even work together in the future.

Lately I've been noticing it's hard for me to draw, I just can't get the idea out on paper and that could also be a hindrance at this time.

But as for sundays work load, here's what I hope to accomplish:

As the title says, I'm having problems when trying to upload my current queue onto the google platform I was using, so for the time being, I have my current queue in the footer of my journal. I will update this as often as possible.

If you do not see your commission there, that means it is done and waiting to be printed and mailed out.

Haha, i've re-written this journal a few times now because I keep typing it in the short hand we use at work. Would have made no sense.

Things have definitely settled down for me now. I'm in a sense of routine and all the craziness that I was expecting has died down significantly. I just got back from my absolute favorite convention in the world and had a blast as well as met one of my cosplay heroes. He even signed my jacket! So that definitely perked me up.

For those who have commissions with me, I'm aiming to have them all done by the end of August. I know it's a long wait and I definitely appreciate all your amazing patience! I can full admit that I took on far to much and burnt myself out a bit when it came to drawing. But the impromptu break I took while settling into work and the treat of Animethon has definitely revitalized me and I've learned to not take on that much again.

I know I've been really scarce lately and I do apologize for that. I have been slowly working on the work I owe and I know I'm slower than usual. The new job has me working all the time and when I get home I'm just super sleepy.

Hi all,

I'd just like to apologize for being slow on drawing, I caught a nasty cold and took the time to take it easy to recover, should be back to full swing tomorrow!

Thank you again everyone for your incredible patience, I'm doing my absolute best to make sure the wait is worth it!

On some less than awesome news, I've received a completely unnecessary comment on a submission of mine that borderlines on slander of my name and the quality of my product. It was for a situation that happened several years ago now. If you have a problem with something I've made you or done for you, please come to me personally before making a public display of your displeasure. If treated with respect, I'll happily fix the issue to the best I can but also understand that a lot of my handmade products do carry a limited warranty. I do not carry a life-time warranty on anything I make, but as long as the product hasn't been abused, I'm willing to make exceptions. I like to think I'm easy to work with as I usually just want to people to be happy with what I make for them. The issue is though, if I know it's been mistreated and you come at me guns blazing, in all fairness, you can't expect me to want to help you out. And that's just how the real world works, I refused to be threatened and bullied into doing something.

For the most part though, almost all of my commissioners are fantastic people and I won't let one or two Debbie-downers ruin my craft for me. Thank you to you awesome people!

Hi there!

I know it's been awhile since I've updated but I want you to know I've been feverently working on your pieces, but they are taking a little longer than anticipated as I'm trying to make them extra special for all you're fantastic patience.

This week has been a busy and rough one outside of commissions as I've also been looking for a job. Something that will make me happy. I got the second interview tommorow so wish me luck!

I really am sorry it's been taking so long, it's not fair to say personal things are inhibiting me a little, but they have been. And when it gets the best of me and I'm down in the dumps, I know I'm not going to create art that either of us are happy with.

Hey, I just wanted to post an update now that I know the lay of the land a little bit more.

My grandpa is home from surgery now, it went good but not great, he will have to go back to have more work done in the near future, but this was a good start.

Coming back home, I found more things that needed to be done to help my grandparents than I had anticipated and this has put me a little behind on work. Looking at my list, for convention work that hadn't been already agreed on a longer dead line due to the size, I'm about a week behind.

What this means is art work would proceed to be posted on June 7th as opposed to June 1st.

I feel terrible about it, but I suppose this is a life gives you lemons scenario.

For those of you who aren't aware, I do have a public queue now so that you can constantly check whats going on and at the bottom you can see when it was last updated!

I know my queue says I don't work on commission work during weekends, this is a special case and I will continue to work on commissions on the weekend to get more work done :3

I think this would help both you as the customer, and myself so no one feels stuck in a limbo :3

The way I would run it is if someone didn't want their commission public, I would either not put it in the queue, or use a pseudo name

So I'm back from my adventures in the States, and I'm almost done moving.

I have to say, having highspeed internet is amazing!

I'm slowly working through my to-do list from Fur-Eh. Made some mistakes this week that set me behind a little, got a little sick. But I'm working on things! No worries guys!

So! I'm back from Fur-Eh! Kind of home, I'm at my secondary home which as of May 17th will be my primary home!

I'm moving in with  lucifur and I'm super excited about that.

I'd like to say thank you to everyone who stopped my table at the con! Thank you to those who commissioned me! And thank you to those who still stopped by and talked! I really enjoyed our conversations!

The convention itself was pretty successful for me, and I'm going to absolutely return next year!
